Excellent! First cold morning in late summer, furnace would not light. They came within hours, diagnosed the problem, started furnace, ordered parts and returned to fix the problem. Electronic filter was pricey.

Our estimator treated me like a customer, not a little girl. The installers were polite and efficient.

Brody arrived (diagnostic technician for $75) and found the unit I had was not working and would have to be replaced -Matching unit was going to cost around $600 which I said was an outrageous sum and so he suggested the new replacement for $683. I probably should have said I'll look elsewhere, but didn't because I would have been without. I have now protested the charge with management at the company who should respect that I have been a customer with them installing the original system.

Contacts with sales professional yet very business like. Installation as scheduled. Good communication. Careful with work areas, cleaned up very good.

The whole project went well but took a long time. They started working at 9:00 a.m. and didn't finish until after 11 p.m. Big project could have used another person but worked hard.

David, Brett and Wyatt showed up to install our new heating and air conditioning system. They were punctual, clean and very pleasant. They placed tarps up and down the stairs and entry ways they were using in our home. Wyatt was in charge of air duct cleaning. This young professional has a wonderful work ethic and worked hard all day. Brett and David were in charge of air conditioning and heating. What a great team! David also found that humidifier was wired incorrectly and rewired it. Thank You Poudre Valley Air, you were one of three Bids that we had in our home, and your company was the Best of them all. Our experience was overall EXCELLENT.

We used them once before. They installed our air conditioning system. They were professional, right on time and very reasonable. They cleaned up everything. They did everything perfectly. They checked everything, like the coils and heating exchange.

Our AC was on but wouldn't keep our house cool all the way and the temp would slowing rise during the day. Something was obviously wrong so we called Poudre Valley Air. Honestly I wasn't too please going into this experience because I was expecting the worst (3k - 5k) but WOW did Kyle from PVA make me feel so much better. Kyle from PVA showed up at 5:30pm and didn't quit until after 7pm. Never once mentioned the time or attempt to reschedule at all. Honestly I was expecting anyone at that hour to do a quick fix job so they could get home... but he didn't at all. He had a great attitude the entire time, was positive, and showed me exactly what he was doing and answered about hundred questions! He did the job right and that what was important to me. Our AC was neglected for years (new house to us) and needed coolant and some serious attention. Kyle had our AC up and running up to speed in no time and didn't try to sell us anything. Our system is 15 years old and he was realistic but in no way was making us panic about anything. I have requested to have Kyle be the one that comes out for my future needs. He was more than competent and explained what he was going to do and what he needed to see before each step. He was honest and thorough and made us feel like we were getting our AC fixed and not just patched up. I won't be calling anyone but PVA and having Kyle come and do any future work that needs to be done. Seriously impressed!

I had a very pleasant experience with Poudre Valley Air. I had two other companies come make estimates and Poudre Valley Air was the most thorough and detailed. They gave me two system options to chose from and I chose the system that cost more, but is more energy efficient. Rock sat down and explained every detail of the estimate thoroughly. He called it a guarantee, not an estimate, saying that the price would not change, which was the case. He not only gave me a printed copy, but sent another one by e-mail about an hour later, because the printer cut off some of the numbers. They were offering 0% interest financing, which also appealed to me, as I don't normally borrow money for purchases. I felt no pressure to commit to them and felt confident that this was a good company to work with. The two installers were great. They were thorough and got my approval on all of the steps before they began working. They brought in the concrete slab and positioned it in my yard and explained why they placed it there. When they were working in the crawl-space, they noticed that the radon mitigation system was not connected properly and fixed it without my asking them if that was an option. Since I'm not familiar with how those systems work, I appreciated that. They took the time to explain how to set the thermostat and gave me tips about how to keep my energy costs low. They explained all of the paperwork thoroughly and made sure to sweep my floor when they were finished. I am very happy with my experience and my new air conditioning system. I would not hesitate to use them again in the future.

They were professional and they did a good job. I found someone cheaper but promptness came out.

All aspects of the installation and other related concerns went well and I considered this an excellent interaction with a company. I will certainly seek their services in the future.

THE RATINGS ABOVE ARE INADEQUATE FOR THE SERVICE I RECEIVED. I WOULD HAVE GIVEN AN A+ FOR EACH CATEGORY. TO SUMMARIZE THE ESSENCE OF SERVICE PROVIDED, I COMPARE PVA'S BUSINESS ETHICS, ACUMEN, AND PROFESSIONALISM TO THAT HELD BY THOSE AMERICANS THAT BUILT THIS COUNTRY, ESPECIALLY THOSE FROM THE MID 20TH CENTURY (THE GREATEST GENERATION). THEY'RE BUSINESS ATTITUDE OF "IF IT'S WORTH DOING, IT'S WORTH DOING RIGHT" CAME ACROSS AT MANY LEVELS OF THIS PROJECT. THEY ARE POLAR OPPOSITES OF TODAY'S "ENTITLEMENT GENERATION". AS AN EXAMPLE, PVA HANDLED ADVERSITY WITH THE UTMOST PROFESSIONALISM AND DECORUM WHEN PARTS ISSUES AROSE. REGARDING THE PARTS ISSUES, PVA'S SUPPLIER(S) PROVIDED INCORRECT REPLACEMENT PARTS (MULTIPLE TIMES) DESPITE CLEAR INSTRUCTIONS AS TO WHAT WAS NEEDED. OBVIOUSLY, THERE WAS FRUSTRATION WHEN THE INCORRECT PARTS WERE DISCOVERED, BUT PVA'S PEOPLE WENT THE EXTRA MILE TO FIX THE ISSUE. EACH TIME THIS HAPPENED (THREE TIMES), PVA SIMPLY MADE THE DECISION TO UPGRADE (AT THEIR COST) TO THE NEXT HIGHER BOILER SYSTEM. WHEN THE FINAL BOILER ARRIVED (OVERNIGHT DELIVERY) IT WAS MISSING THE PROPANE CONVERSION KIT. PVA IMMEDIATELY ORDERED TWO KITS FROM TWO SUPPLIERS AT THEIR COST, BOTH WITH OVERNIGHT DELIVERY, TO ENSURE THAT AT LEAST ONE OF THEM WOULD ARRIVE SO THE SYSTEM COULD BE INITIATED AS QUICKLY AS POSSIBLE. PVA'S SERVICEMEN STAYED LATE INTO THE NIGHT TROUBLE-SHOOTING AND ADJUSTING THE NEW SYSTEM AND BRINGING IT ON LINE SO THAT WE COULD AGAIN HAVE HOT WATER IN OUR HOME. THEY DID A WONDERFUL JOB, WORKED HARD, MADE IT RIGHT, AND THEIR MANAGEMENT BACKED THEM ALL THE WAY. I HAVE NOTHING BUT THE HIGHEST PRAISE FOR PVA ESPECIALLY GIVEN THEIR WORK ETHIC AND THE ADVERSITY THAT THEY OVERCAME. WHEN I HAVE AN HVAC ISSUE IN THE FUTURE, MINOR OR MAJOR, THERE WILL ONLY BE ONE NUMBER I WILL CALL.

Upon searching Angie's List for a heating & cooling provider, I contacted the three with the best reviews in my area (Greeley). I used any email addresses posted here on Angie's List as well as any "Contact Us" forms on their websites. I contacted Poudre Valley both via email and via their website and they never responded to either contact.

Prouder Valley Air is a great company to work with. Andy was knowledgable, thorough, spent considerable time answering all of my questions. Installers were polite, unobtrusive, and did a great job with the installation.

Rock the estimator was professional, efficient, and engaging. His pricing was very reasonable. The installers were excellent and the physical installation was of high quality. A thermostat programming error delayed operation one day, but was quickly corrected.

Furnace went out, Poudre Valley replaced the furnace two days later.

The installers arrived on time, were polite and professional. They explained everything clearly and cleaned up after themselves. They replaced my water pump at no charge!

Major problems were found with our furnace that were not cost effective to repair so we elected to install a new furnace, including adding A/C. The gentleman who came to our house was professional, knowledgeable and answered all questions to our satisfaction. We delayed making a decision until we could get another quote. We did an online search of HVAC information in general, vendor ratings and product ratings. This vendor received high marks. However, the general HVAC websites all stressed that the most important aspect of new HVAC systems was the quality of installation. While this vendor was of high quality, we ultimately went with another company that we felt would give us that highest quality of installation.

They office answered the phone promptly, ascertained my problem, and scheduled a service call that day. The service man called me and confirmed he would be coming up. I live about 45 minutes west of town in the mountains and he still said he'd be up to check the lines. He arrived promptly, was courteous, professional, and performed his work quickly and efficiently. I paid with a credit card and he was in and out within an hour. I am totally impressed with this company and their service people.

Better than comparable to the other bids. They use Trane equipment and they were $2000 cheaper for comparable equipment. They took care of all the rebates and registrations for all the warranties. The installer did a great job, rerouting things, he was meticulous and even educated us on usage. It qualified for tier 3 of rebates in my city.
