On the first very cold & true snow storm of the year - Pua was able to send out a technician & an assessor, followed up by a next day installation - all the employees were extremely polite & professional.

The technician installed the furnace, tested it & explained the new system. They were very thorough & answered all of my questions.

Service repair person from PVA diagnosed issue. Provided repair vs. replace estimate. Decided on replace with 10-year warranty. Replacement done in 2-days from quote. Quote on Monday; replacement done Wednesday morning.

PVA installers were at my house all day, and a project manager was there most of the day as well. They were clean & neat and did not leave a mess. They made sure everything was working before leaving for the day. They were friendly and I felt comfortable with them in my house. I decided, with the project manager's help, to get two separate units, which saved me money, rather than a dual unit. One went in the living room and one in the master bedroom. Although I mainly planned to use these for air conditioning, they are also heat pumps, and since they went in in April, I used them for heat first. The pros: I was afraid my bills for this all-electric house would skyrocket, but my entire bill for the house each month all summer has been between $72 and $75. The two units easily kept my house at 72 (where I set it) in the front and 68 in the bedroom (I like to sleep cool). In addition, the two extra bedrooms, which don't have units in them, stayed much cooler than last year. During the short time I used them for heat, they heated the rooms much more efficiently than the baseboard heaters. I'll see how things go this winter, but I'm hoping not to use the baseboard heaters at all. To be clear: one unit cooled the living room, dining room, kitchen, and hallway. The other one mainly cooled the master bedroom. They are also almost silent when operating, both inside and outside. The cons: these things are expensive and somewhat intrusive visually until you get used to them. Overall: way worth it. So much more comfortable, and so are my dogs. I paid 50% down and financed the rest at 0% interest, and I'll pay it off at the end of the year.

Both were worked very hard and worked into the everything to get the job done.

Poudre Vally Air was really seamless to work with. Nicole was there throughout the process for questions. First we had Steve out for a service call on the old AC unit but it was so old that we were interested in replacing it. He was able to set up an estimate appointment with Rock on the spot. Rock came out and gave us our estimate for a unit which would qualify for the City of Loveland rebate (they upgraded us from the 13 SEER to the 14.5 SEER unit for free). He also credited us the money we had spent on the service call, which was awesome. We did the 12 month 0% financing offer they had and Nicole was able to set it up seamlessly. It is through Wells Fargo if anyone is interested. We did have to put off the install date a little bit because to get the rebate you need to have an energy audit done (that cost us $50 after a $10 coupon but it was TOTALLY worth it since it also qualifies you for other things). Poudre Valley Air was able to schedule the very next morning after the audit. Our installers were David and Travis and they were FANTASTIC!!! Super professional, made sure I was involved in the process and that my questions were answered. All the new pieces inside and out look flawless. Super happy with the service I have received from them in terms of their office, their service and their install. Highly suggest using them! If anyone is in Loveland they are an approved provider for the energy rebate installs (you have to used approved providers to get the rebates).

We called first thing one morning to request a service technician come out and diagnosis an AC unit that had quit cooling the evening before. The technician arrived at the house at noon as scheduled. He diagnosed the problem, came in and explained our options, and was able to make the repairs within 2 hours. Everything was handled in a very professional manner, and we would definitely use them in the future.

My husband called them after we moved in when the heat would not come on. There was tape across a switch on the furnace when we moved into the home and it apparently would not work without the tape. By the time they arrived, my husband had solved the problem reapplying the tape. I credit them for coming quickly but the technician was selling my husband a maintenance policy when I arrived home. There was no mention of the taped switch so I questioned the technician about the tape and he said a lot of people prefer to have it on the switch. That did not answer my question about the tape. I prefer to understand the issue so I can make informed decisions. I told him we were not interested in a maintenance policy at this time. He actually became angry with me for interrupting the sale and said I would have to pay the fee for his visit to our home which I agreed was fair and sent him on his way. I had to call them back in May because the furnace started cycling on/off rapidly and no able to produce heat. They had to replace a valve for $700+. We don't need heat now so I will have someone come out later this summer to see if it will be OK for fall. I just won't pick PVA going forward. I need someone who will identify and fix issues not just patch problems or try to up sell me without telling me what the issues are.

Totally uneventful! Worker arrived to clean ductwork. Extremely professional and careful moving relatively heavy cleaning unit throughout house. Explained procedures and findings. Two workers arrived next day to install new air conditioner. This involved removing existing heater, replacing coil and compressor, and reinstalling heating unit. Extremely careful not to track dirt into house, placed drop cloths to protect carpet where equipment and tools were temporarily stored and vacuumed work area when job was complete. All exterior trash, packing materials, old units, etc. removed. More importantly, workers explained what they were doing throughout the installation process and why things were done. I was concerned as to how thoroughly the reinstalled units would be caulked to prevent air leakage. I observed caulking being applied to the interior edges of the joints as the reassembly took place. After the installation was complete, they went back and re-calked all of the exterior joints as well.

He did not charge us. We just described the problem to him and he was able to figure out what it was. We were on the phone with him for ten minutes because it was after hours. It was real late in the evening. It was like midnight or something and we had no heat.

It went well. The technicians were professional, knowledgeable, and efficient.

In need of a whole house humidifier, I contacted Poudre Valley Air (PVA). After describing my request, I was presented with the offer to receive an estimate over the phone or arrange a visit to meet with a representative to prepare the estimate. I chose the latter, and Rock came over for a visit. Rock informed me he started off as a technician about a decade ago and has worked his way up to sales - his experience was apparent. He arrived on time, slipped booties over his shoes, and took a look at my furnace and ductwork. He was very knowledgeable and answered my numerous questions about what options I had, what would be fit my desires, and what would work best for me. Additionally he identified a solution to a problem with my filter rack, and let me know they could fix that on a time and materials basis not to exceed $100. He provided me with an estimate on his way out ($495 for a Honeywell bypass filter and installation). I checked his estimate for the humidifier against Northern Colorado Air (comparable) and Fort Collins Heating and Air Conditioning (far more expensive), and ultimately I felt like I would get the best value from PVA. When I called to schedule the work, it was only a couple days before Larry showed up for the install. He was right on time, friendly to my two young daughters, and professional. The installation and filter rack fix took about 4 hours, right at Rock's estimate. Larry showed me how the humidifier operates and - like Rock - answered all my questions. I am very pleased with Larry's work. Larry left an invoice, which included the full $100 for the time and materials work. I called PVA to question this, and they apologized for the error and said it should only have been $80. So all work was completed right in line with the estimate initially provided. After a few days, I noticed a puddle of water on the floor of the utility room and assumed my hot water heater was leaking. After some inspection, I realized the humidifier was draining water and my floor drain was clogged. I repaired the floor drain myself, but assumed the humidifier was malfunctioning. I called PVA first thing the next morning and they arranged for Tony to stop in to take a look later that morning (under warranty, no charge to me). Like Larry, Tony showed up on time, slipped booties over his shoes, and started assessing the problem. Fortunately, the humidifier was not malfunctioning; Tony simply made adjustments to the flow rate into the humidifier and explained more about how it works. As he was wrapping up, my daughters came down and Tony was very friendly to them - another classy employee. I write this review now believing I have indeed received a great value from PVA. The humidity in the house is climbing, we aren't getting shocked when we tough light switches, and I understand much better how my heating system operates. Overall, I highly recommend PVA. I credit Rock with selling me what I needed and not simply what generates the greatest commission for him/revenue for PVA. I appreciate the professionalism of Larry and Tony, and the pride they took in their work. I also appreciate the knowledge of Nicole and Jessica, the sales and repair representatives, to schedule the work and arrange for the follow-up visit. I don't know what more you could ask for.

Corey the installer was on time and very professional. He and Wade completed all the work in four hours and cleaned up well.

Installation went well, service tech was on time, he done a good job, only problem was a new saddle valve that developed a leak after he left and soaked some carpet in the hallway that we discovered the next day, carpet had to be dried out but was OK after that, they gave us a free A/C tuneup for the problem.

All personnel were very friendly and professional. Work was done as scheduled, with quality materials and installation, and work area was left clean.
