Make them get you a permit and do not believe that they will send a crew. They will send an apprentice. They are known for over charging.

Water heater broke Sun eve and called them. Explained situation...they knew it couldn't be fixed then...if at all so said 1st thing Monday a.m. they'd call. They called @ 7:30 said they'd dispatch a tech out as soon as they opened @ 8. He was here shortly after. Went thru everything...got new one installed...in & out in 2 hrs. Very nice, very professional. Been using them for many yrs. Definitely recommend them.

They were hired to do the job, the installer started the work, got shocked and walked away leaving tools behind. I have called the company multiple times and no response

Lion discovered the control electronics board, the thermostat, and the main blower motor, were defective but only charged for the board and thermostat, eating the cost of the motor even though the Ruud warranty had expired for both parts and labor. While we were happy with Lion's repair work, I would not recommend Ruud HVAC products as this is the second major failure in less than 5 years on a rather expensive, high end unit.

Andy provided some needed information on the purchase and installation of a propane ventless heater. We are awaiting Andy to review the equipment now on site with the intention of having him install the unit if all goods well.

The tech was reliable and seviced our ac unit. We received a report and checklist. Very thorough process.

What a great bunch to work with!

The installation took 2.1 hours which pleasantly surprised me. I thought it would 3 to 3.5 hrs.

Lion apparently sub-contracts plumbing work to a different company, and they did not follow through with that company on my install. The cost was incredibly high for what it was ($989 for a kitchen faucet replacement). After 3 weeks of calls to Lion and the sub-contractor with absolutely no reply on status, the sub-contractor finally came out without scheduling a time with us and installed a replacement faucet that didn't match what we ordered. Luckily we were there, and the new faucet works fine I guess, but gosh, it was really rough getting closure on what seemed to be a super-simple requirement. Even a status to me on our order would have been helpful, but silence from a contractor is usually a bad sign. I called HomeAdvisor at one point for advice on how to proceed, but didn't hear back from them either...

When you promise to show up during a 4-hour period, do it. When I called, they blamed it on a computer malfunction. Then tried to charge me $29 on a warranty call because I did not join their friends and family plan. Watch out for extra fees.

This company has fancy trucks and young handsome kids working but are not really willing to fix an issue, he told me my AC unit was about to die any second, And tried to sell me a new one. He charged me $450 to change a $20 part. I'm sorry but I like service techs that know what they are doing and willing to try to fix a unit not replace one.

This new company understands and shows they respect your (and their) time and money are valuable things. During the hottest month, we were scheduled for central air service within just a few days of my call. Also, on the day of the appointment, they reached out to ask whether an earlier time could be possible. Most importantly, that message was well communicated to me that phone-tag was not needed - our originally scheduled window of time for the appointment time would stand. Our service technician was very pleasant, and to talk with. As it happens, I had made a DIY rookie mistake... We had relocated our wall thermostat, and overlooked reconnecting one of the five signal wires. The prior summer wasn't hot, I'd never turned on the a/c, and central heating had worked fine for two years. (All other thermostat functions had been intact since our remodel.) As their technician pointed out, in our case, this was something very simple for us to fix on our own, that saved everyone's time (and money!) I appreciate Lion's trust with our time and money, and would certainly recommend them, based on that. I will not hesitate to consider them for any future actual system problems, thank you!

Great guy does a great job

JD Frank installed the AC and was amazing! The work was well done, especially since they were working onsite. He was very communicative and took the time to explain everything they were doing and answer any questions. An AC unit is a true investment and it was comforting to have all details reviewed and confirmed! Also installed was a humidifier and UV light (which I highly recommend). Thank you again!!
