Generally I request a meeting and quotes from three contractors, but this time I trusted Angie's List ratings and reviews, which reduced my time spent on this project and selected Independent Plumbing Solutions, Inc., the top rated plumbing company. I'm really glad I did. I already had a good idea what it would cost to replace a water heater, but was uncertain about the sprinkler system pressure vacuum breaker. Based on the quote estimate I approved the job. I requested an experienced, professional plumber who showed up on time, assessed the restructuring of water pipes that needed to be done and immediately got to work. He laid down protective floor mats to come into the house and was meticulous and organized in the mechanical room. He installed a new Bradford White water tank, an emergency drip pan, cut and reorganized the various water lines to make them easy to locate, understand and turn on/off and installed a Water Cop emergency shut off valve. Outside he replaced the pressure vacuum breaker with a new and more efficient one. He was very knowledgeable, efficient and enjoyable to speak with. I received a bill based on time and materials and with my senior discount, the total came in less than the original estimate. I am exceptionally pleased with IPS's service and will readily use them again as well as highly recommend.

Did a good job, did everything I need, and asked if I needed anything else. Was very respectful, courteous, &punctual. He cleaned up his own mess and was very accommodating. An A+ job

Kevin was great. He realized that it was not the pipe leaking as we suspected. The ground floor toilet had not been set tightly and the leak wad from the tank. He quickly tightened down the toilet after schimming it level and caulked around it.

Expensive! But still called them for bid on replacement water heater, they did not install so would not work with manufacturer for replacement, quoted outrageous sum. Whet to Loveland company (also did not install original) worked with manufacturers and replacement and install was for $200!!

They were prompt, courteous, and professional -- then sent me an invoice for $120 for a ten minute job. I was misled by the number of reviews including payments of $39-50 for small jobs. When I complained about the rate, I was told it is their minimum and they did not do jobs for less than that. I learned my lesson -- find out the minimum for a service call first!

I paid for the 1st service call, then called to set up replacement disposal. I thought I should receive full credit for the first visit, but no. The work was excellent however. I also called about a replacement under warranty for my water heater, they would not work with getting the replace and quote started at $850, for installation only. And if you don't have a pan, and if... Action plumbing got me a replacement unit and charged $200 for the install! Fast. Clean, Professional work!

Exceptional! I've had IPS do work at a rental twice & both times they've pulled me out of jamb. Punctual, understanding, considerate, clean & fair. They are not the least expensive but if you are looking for quality work & professional people...they are a good choice. TomO

Talked with Dan O (the owner) and Chizum (residential plumber), and they were thinking the Studor Vent was not working right. I bought a new one, screwed it on, and that has taken care of the problem. I was going to have them out, but they saved me a service call.

The job took a few days, just like they had quoted. Everything they said they would do they did and even check back in with us a week later to make sure everything was still going well. The responsiveness and communication with the staff is the best I have seen in a long time.

The service man was on time, professional, and did a great job. He replaced a part., And thoroughly inspected The toilet tank and gave me a report. Went very well. I would definitely hire them again.

Plumber meddled with hot water heater and it broke within one week of visit (even though we did not ask him to touch the water heater.) All we wanted was the house to be prepared for the winter. We were willing to pay to avoid greater damages, but after looking at the plumbing it was indicated that we would be just fine, and we were billed for the hour. Our pipes have ruptured causing major damage to the house. The only conclusion I can come to is that I was taken advantage of, avoid at all costs.

When I initially called Independent Plumbing Solutions my basement was partially flooded. They had a full schedule, and still found the time to get a guy out to my place. I worked with Derick and through the whole process he was courteous, knowledgeable, and professional and quickly responded to any questions I had. He was able to come out the next day and and finished in a timely manner. He went above and beyond what I was hoping for. If I needed any plumbing work done I would hire them again.

Excellent. Brian made it look easy. He arrived on time and had everything he needed.

Brian checked the water pressure, explained that it was fine and why it was fine. He wasn't here very long, so I wasn't charged. Laurie, in the office, even called Angie's List to see how I could get my money back. I couldn't be happier.

Excellent, but it was a bit delayed in getting the items to our home. We were not in a hurry at all though, since the other water heater wasn't working, so it wasn't a big deal.

Danny is a real craftsman who does the job right and focuses on the details with great skill. He is quick and efficient in his work. He is extremely professional and courteous. He even educated me about the proper use of a garbage disposal. I was very impressed with the entire service. I will definitely call him again for all plumbing services. Thank you.

They did well, did part of the job and then had to reschedule. They did not have the right supplies with them. They were really nice and did a good job when they came back. The billing has been really messed up and they are working to get it straight.

It turned out exceptional. They are really good guys, and real nice job, and very efficient. No complaints at all. I'd give them 5 stars even. I would highly recommend them. It was a heck of a deal. He was phenomenal. He was great. They were just terrific.

I cannot say enough good things about Independent Plumbing Solutions. Chizum McKinzie and his team at IPS. After calling 6 different plumbers and getting the run around, I found IPS and had a Plumber out right away. They assessed then problem and provided me with an honest solution. I was scheduled right away and the work was completed in 1 day! I could not believe how professional and efficient Chizum and Daniel were, it was definitely appreciated since a main water leak is not a fun thing to go through. I received a call from Chizum the next day and he even stopped by to make sure everything was still ok and see if I had any questions. I would highly recommend IPS for any plumbing needs!

Excellent! I purchased an hour of labor via Angie's List. Within the 1st hour of purchase, I received a phone call asking me when I would like to schedule the service. I paid a minimal amount for parts. I would call them again in the future.
