Came out an hour after I called and fixed the garage door in a half hour. Quick response and great work!

Arrived on time, got it done quickly and advised us of a potential future issue but to let the gear wear down then call him back (didn't try to sell us on extra work that would not be necessary.

They did a good job. They were easy to get a hold of and the gentleman that came and assisted was great about setting up cars and told us how to do it and we understood when left. He said if we had any questions we should call so they did well with customer service.

He was here right on time and very efficiently converted both doors to torsion spring operation. At that point he got a couple of emergency calls and rather that just leave he asked me if he could return in a couple of days to finish the job. I said yes and he returned in two days to finish the installation of the opener. He rewarded me by reducing the final cost by $40.00 and including a keyless entry keypad at no cost to me. He cleaned up everything after the installation, made sure I knew how to operate and program the equipment and assured me the work and equipment was fully guaranteed. I have a good feeling about the whole experience. The installation has a very neat appearance and works very well.

Garage Gadgetry tech was on time, was fast, efficient, thorough, and inexpensive. He answered all my questions concisely and clearly. He's a good multitasker: while answering my questions, he kept on working. He knew exactly why I couldn't get the Homelink buttons in my truck to operate my nearly new garage door openers: Chamberlain's My-Q is not compatible with Homelink without adding more electronics to my openers. He thoroughly explained the status of my garage doors, openers, and controls, and problems I might expect to see in the future as my 15 year old garage doors continue to age.

Tried to leave for work this morning and my garage door would not open. I phoned Garage Gadgetry and left a message. They returned my call within 30 minutes and scheduled a time to come to my home between 2 and 2:30 the same day. They showed up at approx 2:20, and fixed everything within 30 minutes. Very prompt, very professional, and extremely helpful!!!!

When I tried to open my garage door this morning, no luck! The door would only open 2 inches and gave up. I called Tom around 8:45 AM and he returned my call within 10 minutes. He set up a time to come fix the door for this afternoon. He came on time (early actually) and fixed the broken springs and gave both garage bays a quick lube and tune-up. He was friendly and professional. I would recommend to others!

My garage is too tall for them. They don't do commercial. I tried to explain that it was a simple fix, but he said they won't touch a larger door. Not friendly, not impressed at all.

Called the number, they called back in about 15 minutes. Explained our issue and made appointment . The repair man showed up as promised. Fixed the broken springs. We asked him to look at our other garage door. We were thinking of replacing it. He said it was structurally sound and didn't need replacing. (Backed our car into it) Yes, we will call this company again.

We had them come out 2 different times. I spent about $900 for the garage door and for the door opener I paid $390. They were courteous, helpful and he called when he was coming. So we were very pleased with him.

The service was excellent. Tom looked at the door and found the problem immediately. He then adjusted the electric eye, which had stopped making contact. The door and opener began working again. Tom then checked over the door and opener. He pointed out some wear spots and suggested some lubrication points to maintain everything as long as possible. The job lasted about 20-30 minutes. He did not charge me anything, saying that the adjustment was minimal. That was a nice surprise. I listened to what he had to say about the life of garage door openers and he described exactly how my aged opener was working. He knows what he is talking about. I'll call him again for my next repair.

Excellent response time, troubleshooting over the phone and quality repairs. I highly recommend Tom.

Service went well. He said there wasn't much they could do for it (it's very old) and that likely it would need to be replaced in a year or two. He spent some time oiling what he could (there was a screech that was getting louder that's not there anymore) and checked all the piece to make sure nothing had already failed. So far I haven't been charged a service bill for the once over he gave my system. I would use them again.

Technician arrived 5 min. early ready and prepared to service my doors. He evaluated the doors and explained the problem and what it would be to fix it. Repair and service took less than 20 min. All my questions were answered and I was given additional information that was very useful. I didn't feel pressured into additional service or purchases. I will recommend this company as they were fast, fair and professional. When my 12 yr. old doors need service or replacement in the future I will be calling them back. I am glad I chose a local company!

The service we received from Garage Gadgetry was hands down the best customer service we have ever received for a maintenance issue at our home. They were punctual, professional and provided excellent service. We will continue to use and recommend Garage Gadgetry in the future.

I was very impressed with the price and how quickly our garage door was fixed. We'd had a and quot;saggingand quot; door for some time that my husband was worried would eventually fall on top of a vehicle parked in the garage. The garage door would no longer close using the remote because the door was too and quot;heavyand quot; and the sensors would stop the garage door from closing. I would have to manually close each time. I had put off fixing it for 6 months thinking the only fix was a new door and thousands of dollars. Surprisingly, we were told our door just needed some reinforcements. We didn't even have to replace any panels! He was very honest and up front and we are thrilled to have a working door!

Got a prompt response after contacting Tom, he arrived on time and immediately diagnosed my opener problem. He listened to my issues, gave me feedback on what I was doing right and wrong on my garage door. Gave me some tips on maintenance, proposed two options. Scheduled a replacement of the opener and he completed that very quickly. New opener and my old garage door work great, will call Tom again when I need more work on it.

Answered the phone when I called the first time - no answering machine. Was knowledgeable and polite on the phone. Made an appointment the same day. Kept the appointment and showed up on time. Fixed and tuned the door. It works better than before the spring was broken. Left the bill at the quoted price. I am a satisfied customer. Will call them again if needed.

I called this company after a competitor came out (sent by a warranty company). The first company had done virtually nothing and the door still didn't work right. Tom came out and saw a problem with the eyes. The existing eyes couldn't be fixed and he ordered new ones. Due to the holidays, it took awhile for him to come back - but he came today, replaced the eyes and spent considerable time telling us about our door. I feel Tom could have easily sold us parts we didn't need but he instead told us we shouldn't need work on our door for some time. Also, his fee for service and replacing the eyes was very, very reasonable. I would like to add, I felt in dealing with Tom that he is extremely professional both on the phone and in person. Very pleased and he will be our go to garage company from now on.

Arrived 5 minutes before scheduled appointment and finished replacing the big garage door spring and lubricating all the rollers within 2 minutes of his estimate. work was done very professionally and the garage door works better than it has in the last 10 years.

called him on sunday afternoon, he called back in 10 mins, and was at my house in 15mins. he was very professional and knowledgeable. he explained what was wrong, what needed to be done and he did it all in 40 mins. his fee was $150.00. that was the lowest price I found on any listing posted. there was no extra charge for coming on sunday. I highly recommend him and I will use him in the future.

Attempted to leave in morning and door wouldn't work. Saw broken spring. Got on Angie's List and called 3 recommended garage door repair companies. None could fix spring for days. Price was a bit higher than I'd seen for comparable services however, Garage Gadgetry was able to come within a few hours, technician was friendly, speedy, and thorough.

It was great. We called and he responded quickly. Came to the house the same day and fixed the problems within an hour. We were happy with the cost to repair.

Wow.. called Tom and he said he would be here in 20 minutes, and sure enough he was. Within a 1/2 hour he had the new springs replaced, rollers lubed and inspected. He was fantastic and very reasonable. You will not be disappointed GREAT SERVICE !!
