They were very helpful. They went out of their way. There was a problem and they went out of their way to correct it. Every time I called, they were very responsive and they came right out. I have no complaints. They were wonderful.

No complaints here they did exactly what they said they would and charges exactly what they said they would and we have not had any trouble with our furnace.

Had an issue with my hot water heater. I called FCH&Air and got an appt for the next day. While waiting for the appt, I also discovered that I had water in the bottom of my furnace. Steven arrived promptly and quickly diagnosed the furnace issue and had it fixed in short time. My hot water heater started working again prior to his arrival, but he checked everything he could and took down the hot water heater info in case something happened in the future. I would highly recommend Fort Collins Heating and Air. They were absolutely professional, priced well, and punctual. Will gladly use their services again. In fact, we're building a house and will be calling them for doing HVAC work for our new build. That's how much they impressed me.

Jon Leskinen (Sales Manager) was our contact and the person who did a load calculation for sizing the new units. He was very professional, personable and knowledgeable. On his visit to gather information necessary to provide a quote, he went well above and beyond my expectations. We had been told by another vendor during a routine inspection that the furnace heat exchanger had a crack and the furnace needed to be replaced immediately. While Jon was gathering information he needed to provide a quote, he did a video camera inspection on the furnace at no charge. His professional opinion was that a crack in the heat exchanger was unlikely and that the furnace did not need to be replaced immediately. However, since we knew the air conditioner had a significant leak and needed to be replaced, we decided to replace the furnace with a more energy efficient one that would be a better match for the air conditioner. In addition, we replaced the existing thermostat with a intelligent touch-screen model. Jon made sure we understood our options which included only replacing the defective air conditioner unit and keep the existing furnace and thermostat. There was absolutely no pressure to purchase more than what was required. The end result was to purchase a Bryant system which included the gas furnace, air conditioner and intelligent thermostat. Based on the load calculations Jon did, we were able to reduce the size of both the furnace (100,000 BTU to 60,000 BTU) and air conditioner (3 ton to 2 ton). A real bonus was that the price was very competitive, the installation process went very smoothly and all registration and rebate paperwork was completed and sent in by the office staff.

His demeanor suggests that he genuinely interested in our satisfaction and, at no time, did I feel he was trying to make a sale. We are very happy with the choices he helped us make. The teams who completed the work were pleasant and efficient and they completed all work, exceeding our expectations. This is a dependable company which is earning our trust and respect. For the past 7 years, we've done semi-annual maintenance on our heating/cooling system (Spring & Fall). Typically, we use "coupons" or $49 "specials" for these heating/cooling check-ups. I'm not sure I'm allowed to mention other vendors in this review, but we've used Swan and American Aire in the past. This past week, we used a Swan's $49 coupon furnace "inspection" coupon after using them for the past year or so. The technician came out and all of sudden, last week, informed us that we needed a new blower, a new blower capacitor, and our coils needed cleaning. The total cost for all 3 repairs was in the neighborhood of $800. I decided immediately to check out Angie's List and reviews on local heating & cooling companies. I contacted 3 companies with the highest/best reviews. Poudre Valley Air never responded to my correspondence. One other company didn't service the Greeley area. I did contact Fort Collins Heating & Cooling and they called me back that day. We set up an appointment for yesterday. Ken Pokora came out. He was simply awesome. One interesting thing he found, that no one else in 7 years ever noticed is that the wiring within my thermostat was cross-wired. He corrected that. He did find a bad capacitor and replaced it. ($74 vs. $130 quote from Swan's). However, after changing the capacitor, he tested the blower and said it was fine. Since the coils are within the actual heat duct, above the furnace, you can't see if they are clogged. However, he did test the air coming out of the furnace and was able to determine by his test that the coils are NOT clogged. He also spent a fair amount of time educating me about my furnace and my humidifier and how the whole system operates. So, while they charge a $43 trip charge, my total bill was $184. That was basically $65 for the diagnostic work, $43 for the trip charge, and $74 for the capacitor. A price I was more than willing to pay! I recommend this company 100%! And, guess what? No more $49 "furnace inspections" for this family.....

Went just fine, I can't remember the name of the tech but he did a fine job. They were running quite a bit behind that day I believe we were scheduled for a visit between 1 and 4pm and they made it around 6pm due to heavy repair calls. No big deal to us as I was working on other things so it didn't matter to me that day but that is why I gave them a B on punctuality. They missed a pretty wide window of time to get to me. They did call and inform us of the time shift and the tech did call about 10 minutes prior to let me know he would be pulling up to the house in 10 minutes which I thought was a great thing. All subs, contractors etc. should do this - they all have company cell phones don't they! After the tech was finished he walked me thru how to clean the outside unit and we discussed the system and what he thought about it. It was an open chance to tell me I need a new one etc, but he was honest, said it was a decent unit in decent shape and really the only thing I needed to consider was a new fan motor as it was pulling a heavier amp load than it should but was probably ok for awhile, but don't be surprised if it goes out in the near future. It's still working but I'll get it changed in the fall. Overall a A+ experience.

Suggestions on dealing with access to the humidifier was appreciated. Rep. answered my questions and was helpful. Glad the service was provided but I did think the price was high for the service but I had agreed to the cost before hand.

They showed up in the morning. Worked the whole day and were done mid afternoon. The guy came across as very knowledgeable and polite. Prior to replacing the AC I had 3 different companies out to look at my old AC. Fort Collins Heating & Air Conditioning was the only company that spent the time of actually finding the leak and look into if it was fixable or not. The other companies simply stated that it needed to be replaced, cause it is probably leaking in the coil. Fort Collins Heating & Air Conditioning is a company that spend the extra time to make sure you have all the information needed before they make a suggestion.

Ken, the technician showed up exactly on time. I showed him the system and he went right to work. After he finished, he gave me a detailed description of how the system was working. He said the system was in good condition and did not need any repairs. He gave me some hints as to how to protect the condenser from hail damage. Also accepted $20 discount coupon shown on Angie's list. Good job. Note: I had used them before (recommendation from Angie's List) and had been well satisfied with their performance.

John from Fort Collins Heating & Air looked at both units and said there was no reason to replace either, that both just needed to be serviced... something I paid One Hour Heating & Air to do, and they did not perform the work. I called Fort Collins Heating & Air back and scheduled them to service both units, and will sign on to their yearly service agreement. John was courteous, professional, and totally honest!!! I highly recommend this company!

I contracted Fort Collins Heating & Air Conditioning to install a whole house humidifier. They did a wonderful job. I was given sound and practical advice in the lead up to the decision, to help me weight up the pros and cons of different systems. The installation was done on time and very professionally. I would thouroughly recommend this company. They were a pleasure to work with.

We had some sound system wiring drop from the ceiling of the crawl space that may have been caused by the work on my furnace filters. They came right back out and re-attached the wiring at no cost. I cannot say thank you enough to Fort Collins Heating. In addition, Sheila, their office lady is so pleasant and accommodating with appointments (I missed one and they cheerfully rescheduled for me). They are the best !

Glenn came out to work on the estimate and listened well about what I needed, and asked questions the other two estimators did not. He also visited with the completed estimate - actually three, to give me choices. I felt like I understood the choices more thoroughly and agreed on a system. Glenn then called the next day with the news that the AC unit quoted was a little harder to get, and that I could save $1000 by picking this year's stock, which I agreed to do. Not every job gets cheaper after you sign! The final price matched my second favorite quote, but I felt like I got better and more appropriate gear for the money. The installers who worked on my job were great, they made it look easy and they worked well together. The furnace vent that had concerned the other guys was done before I knew it, and was no big deal. We had heat and hot water at the end of the day, and they came back and finished the AC and some detail work the next day. Without a lot of effort, they also balanced the heat so the cold spots and warm spots are closer to average, and they installed some dampers that will let me adjust the flow when we get into AC season.

The technician was very knowledgeable but was unable to recreate the condition. He took everything out and cleaned it and checked for gas leaks reassembled everything. I was satisfied with the job.

The day of the appointment they called and said tht they were cancelling the appointment because they had too many calls for help from other customers.

The serviceman was very pleasant, asked me questions about any problems I was having. He seemed to be knowledgeable and efficient. He courteously accepted a discount coupon from Angie's List. He didn't tell me that he had replaced the thermo coupler so when I continued to have the problem of the pilot light going out, I called the company again. The same serviceman returned the day after my telephone call. We now had snow on the ground and he put paper booties on over his shoes to keep from tracking snow in the house. I was grateful for that. He determined that the pilot light was going out because the furnace was old and needed to have the pilot light turned a bit higher. I was not charged for this service. I haven't had any problems with the furnace since then. The house is much more pleasant now that the humidifier is working. I highly recommend Fort Collins Heating and Air Conditioning. This company is not new to us. We have used them in the past and have always been pleased with the service and the cost.

I have used this business twice and had a great experience each time. Both times the service person who came to the house was very professional and quickly diagnosed the problem. They also performed a check of other high problem areas of the furnace to make sure everything was in good working condition before they left. I would be happy to recommend this business to others.

Outstanding service. Easy to arrive at an appointment time at our convenience. We were called when the service man was on his way. He arrived well within the estimated time (one-hour slot). Service representative (Ben) was neat, courteous and friendly, as well as being competent. Answered all our questions - we recently moved into the house and had questions regarding the thermostat, humidifier, and gas log.
