Description of Work: They reinstalled a toilet for us (we had new tile put down). The plumber realized that the toilet sometimes didn't stop running and fixed it when he did the install. We had been having trouble with it, and I appreciated that he noticed it and fixed the problem. Great to work with!

Description of Work: Water heater quit and was leaking into the overflow tray and drain to outdoors froze up. The water heater was replaced. The next day I noticed the pressure release valve was passing water. The plumbing technician returned and found that the water line pressure was high enough to over come the relief valve. Contacted the water district and they sent a technician to look at the problem and he found that the pressure control at the meter had failed. It was replaced. However the water pressure in my line was still high and causing the water tank relief valve to pass water. The plumbing technician had to install a pressure relief tank on the water line to further reduce and control the pressure. |I felt overall that Ellman Service did a good job. The extra problems were caused primarily by the high water pressure carried in the water district system. The plumbing technician was on the job the second day for 2.5 hours. The base cost of the new water heater was $850, which I felt was a little high, but with the extra work to check problem and install the additional equipment to correct the problem, I thing the over all pricing was fair.

Description of Work: Ellman Service Company have proven themselves and provided us with stellar service time and time again! I have continually been impressed with their service and follow through. Most recently they helped us during the sale of our home, repair a couple of leaks and verify the status of our sewer for the buyer's supposed issue. They are the only company we'll use!

 + -1 moreI had a plumbing emergency, stinky kitchen sink water pouring onto my feet, expecting a house guest that night. I called before 8am and got an answering service, called again and asked for an appointment. They said the first available person would come. About two hours later, my sink was fixed. I got the bill today, service call, drain gun, shop supplies, $125. This is the second time I have called them. Previously, they rebuilt my kitchen faucet when it wouldn't turn off on Christmas Eve, $90-something.
Description of Work: "Kitchen drain plugged, cleaned the p-trap and tail piece, ran drain gun to clear the stoppage." Also, removed broken cap that was cemented into the outdoor trap, and replaced with cap I had already purchased.

 + -1 moreI was very pleased with the service. We had to get this done as part of repairing the sprinkler system after we moved in. The previous owner had done some of his own "work" and it was a bit of a mess. The Ellmann techs were easy to schedule, on time, very friendly and knowledgeable. It was obvious they really knew what they were doing. They had to change some of the existing pipes to make it "right." I don't know what a reasonable cost would have been, so I can't really judge the price. It wasn't cheap, but I don't know how it would compare to others.
Description of Work: I had them install a backflow prevention device for the sprinkler system. Also had them test/certify it.

 + -1 moreI had received an outrageous bid from another company for the work and called Ellman. Mike came out and gave me a bid for the work that was way less. We hired them to do the work and they were on time, courteous and professional. I would not hesitate to use them again. They are excellent.

The same thing happened the next week when we found the leaky pipe. The service was quick and very responsive, the work was excellent. We would recommend this company to anyone.
Description of Work: The first time they came out it was because of a blocked sewer line, the second time was for a leak in a pipe.
