 + -1 moreExcellent experience from start to finish. Jim also called a few days later to see how things were going and to be sure more damage had not occurred. I will be calling him as soon as the roof is clear and dry to have him make any repairs as necessary. By the way, he did not charge for his first visit, despite it being horrible weather, a weekend, and the day before Christmas Eve. This company is a find!
Description of Work: Jim from Timberline Roofing came over promptly as promised on 12/23 (the day before Christmas Eve!) after our big snow. I had noticed water damage in my upstairs ceiling. Jim looked at it, checked the attic, felt it was due to snow that had blown threw vents in the attic. He offered to come by when the roof is clear and dry to check out the entire roof and to be sure other damage had not occurred.

 + -1 moreJim Hayes and Steve McVay completed the job on time, used high quality materials, cleaned up very well and were professionals in every sense of the word. In addition, the were less than $100 over the lowest of the three quotes I obtained (all from contractors on the Angie's List site) and $480 lower than the highest price. When I mentioned the prices to them, they matched the lower price, which was a bonus as I would have paid their original price without hesitation. I will not only do business with them again, I gave them permission to use me as a reference.
Description of Work: They removed an evaporate cooler, replaced the W valley on the roof section adjacent to the cooler, installed heavy plywood, new 30 lb. felt and heavy shakes in the area vacated by the cooler. In addition, they replaced all the hip and ridge felt and shakes, a few damaged shakes in other locations, sealed and painted all stacks and pipes, and cleaned and painted all valleys.
