Timberline Roofing

Called Jim at Timberline, and he got back to me right away . Made an appointment to come out and give an estimate, showed up when he said and gave me a quote. His crew showed up when they said and did a great job installing roof and cleaning up the yard. The guys started early and worked well past nightfall all three days. Jim was great to deal with and would definitely recommend his company.

I sent an email, got a quote back, the work was one within 7 days of accepting the quote.

Jim gave me a commitment to examine the roof, he followed through and, in my opinion, offered appropriate recommendations.

Jim showed up on time (actually, a few minutes early), inspected my roof, and told me that I didn't need to do anything at this time. His professionalism and honesty are greatly appreciated. I will certainly call him again if I need work done!

Responded to my call. Came out and did an inspection and they did some work. They did not complete the work though. They only spent an hour on my roof, so I think it was an excessive charge.

Very good service. Thought it would take 1-3 days, and they were completed in 1 day. Returned phone calls promptly. Would recommend and use again.

Estimator came over, essentially laughed at the job, insulted me on my house layout and never called back.

I contacted them in August to repair my roof, I was told that they would be right out on a specific day of that week. I waited around the house, they called and said they could not make it that day, but they would be over early in the morning of the next day. They did not show the next morning, either. I called and they apologized and said for sure they would be by that afternoon, or that next morning. No show no call-we called and they apologized profusely and someone came out an worked on our roof, ostensibly repairing the leak on September 3rd, we paid the fellow, he left. We had a pretty good rainfall on Sept. 11th, and the leak continued unabated. I called them on Friday, September 12th to let them know it was leaking-no response. I called them on the 15th and they said someone would be right out that Tuesday. We waited around and nobody came. When we called to complain that yet again we had waited around for nothing, we were told that the guy said he came out and that we were not there, which was a lie. The owner called and said he would definitely have someone there at 10 am on Thursday. At 8am on Thursday, one of the roofers called and said no one would be there that day, but that someone would be by either Friday or Saturday. Naturally, nobody came, and nobody called. I called and emailed them letting them know I want a refund for their substandard work, naturally, no one has responded.

We are still soliciting bids for roof repair.

We had three other roofers out over the period of two years. Timberline came out and was here for an hour and charged very little for the work they did. There have been no leaks since Jim fixed it. A few weeks after the job was done, he even called me back to make sure everything was still okay.

It was outstanding work. They were here less than an hour and the price was very reasonable. What they did I don't know but I haven't had any leak since. I would recommend them to others.

They were the only company that was willing to come out and fix our problem. They offered a guarantee on their work. They had a reasonable price. Also they were very nice to work with. They showed up promptly for the estimate and the job.

I called Jim and he was friendly and professional and said he could get to the house either later the same day or first thing in the morning. He came promptly the next morning and emailed me the estimate making it very easy to do business with him. It turned out that we weren't able to use Timberline because the seller used his own estimate.

I saw some water bubbles and had them back out to fix them.

Came home one day to a leak in the downstairs bathroom. Called the plumber and after cutting a hole in the ceiling he determined that it was not a plumbing problem. The plumber noticed the vent pipe running up to the roof and suggested I call a roofer. I have a tile roof so this was not welcome news. I called Timberline and they said they could show up the next day. Later on that day they called back and said they had someone in the neighborhood that could stop by. He came by, determined it was probably a leak. He did not have the correct length ladder so he raced back to the shop to get the ladder and fixed the leak before nightfall. He then checked all of the other pipes on that side of the roof at no additional charge to make sure they wouldn't leak in the future. I was very happy with the work, and was very pleased that they were able to fix it same day.

Steve came out on a Friday or Saturday to give us an estimate of $325 and said he could do the work the following Monday. Another roofing company gave me an estimate of $2295 and couldn't do the work for three weeks. After two snows and a rainstorm, the roof work is working well. Later, during drywall texturing, we had a problem with condensation in an exhaust fan vent (not a roofing problem). I called Jim. He sent someone within 2 hours to check it out, then Jim followed up with a phone call with advice on insulating the vent line in the attic. Problem solved.

Jim was easy to work with and offered to repair versus replace our roof which was a much cheaper option.

Jim was a super nice guy and I was happy with his work. I wish communication had been a little better, it took a while for him to figure out when he could come and I felt like I had to chase him to pin the day down. We didn't always agree about the importance of starting early in the morning so the rubber sealant would be done in one day before temperature dropped at night. But if you are patient regarding scheduling, I would recommend Timberline again for small repairs such as those I had done. I thought the price was very good and he had a very solid warranty.

They gave an estimate within a few days of my first call and explained how they decided which shingles to replace. They did the work within a week of my acceptance of the proposal. The job was completed in a day.

Their bid was twice as high as the company we ended up using, and we didn't receive the bid for a month.

We walked the roof. I was told by this contractor that the soft spots did not mean anything. He said what I need are some roof vents to make sure the hot air in the summer and the damp air in the winter can escape. My house was built in 1959 and only one roof vent was installed above the fan in a hall bathroom. He also said that some of the outlets on the roof needed to be better sealed and one needed to be replaced. He told me not to worry about anything else until I had the roof redone in the future and then to have another layer of plywood put down. He also said that since the porch is not enclosed, the rolled roof with shingles is just fine. He agreed with what my brother had said. When I have this work done, I will probably call this contractor.

They did a job that no other roofing company would do. They were good at calling us when they weren't able to come out due to the snow and they also had no problems with working on another area of our roof that needed work. We have not had any further problems at all.

Impress by how they responded to us and how they were cooperative. Professional friendly and courteous. They finished the work in a timely manor. Their price was also excellent.

The initial appointment was canceled because they said it was snowing, it was not snowing at my home. We then set up an appointment for today, they called to cancel again because of a rainstorm, and there is no rain at my house. I now have to call another company.
