Local move.

It turned out well.

The crew arrived on time. They handled the furniture, including antiques, roughly. During the move, I had to instruct the movers to shrink wrap some of the furniture to prevent cabinet doors and drawers from swinging freely as they were handled. A dining table top was gouged and nicked during move. We filed a claim, and the company paid the minimum allowed by the contract, not in keeping with the level of damage nor the apparent level of responsibility. I was not favorably impressed with this company.

Everything went very smoothly. I contacted Road Scholars for an estimate, Sally came over did a walk through of my house and provide a detailed estimate. The estimate was very clear as to cost and what I would be getting for that price. Road Scholars was one of 3 estimates that I received and by far they were the most complete and detailed. Sally took the time to explain all the costs and the entire move process compared to the other companies who only provided me with a dollar amount and left. I felt that Road Scholars (Sally) was very detailed in their approach and made me fell like they would really take care of my belongings. On the day of the move the crew, 4 guys and 2 trucks, showed up on time. CJ the crew lead did another walk-through with me to make sure that they knew exactly what would be moving. The move went smoothly, we have a lot of delicate belongings and fine furniture, I was extremely impressed with the care that CJ and his crew took in wrapping/packaging everything. There were a couple minor dings (which was great considering the amount of stuff that was moved) and the following week after the move, Sally sent someone over to repair the items. The items were repaired very quickly and look great. Sally did a great job of follow-up to make sure that I was completely satisfied with the repairs. I would highly recommend Road Scholars to anyone who is moving - they are extremely detailed and professional - and very reasonably priced.

It was a pleasure doing business with this company. They were prompt, courteous, careful and fast. They charged me less than the estimate they gave me. I was very impressed, and highly reccomend them.

They were very good. As movers go, they were careful and responsible. They were on time and didn't overcharge me.

They were very prompt. They made sure everything was boxed and wrapped to prevent any damage. They were there at the time they said to load the truck and got things delivered at the time they said. There was a small chip on the entertainment center but other than that everything arrived undamaged.

The movers showed up on time, got right to work and finished in the time I expected. It went very well.

They day after I got into town, they were there to deliver. They were really nice guys. They were careful, and very helpful. They had two stops before the trip down. I thought it was a very good price.

THE 3 WORKERS WERE ON TIME & PROFESSIONAL. I WAS CHARGED BY THE HOUR & WAS QUOTED ABOUT 6 HOURS ON THE PHONE. THEY DID ALL THE MOVING IN 4 HOURS SO THEY SAVED ME A LOT OF MONEY.
