The swamp cooler works very well now that it's installed. Installation was problematic. It was not installed properly the first go round, so it required 2 additional visits. There is no service window, so I waited all day for a call or visit, and I had to take another day for technicians to come out. The water faucet was not adequate for the swamp cooler so I had to spend an additional $400 over and above the quoted price. The total price was more than I was quoted and it required 3 of my weekends to get it properly installed. At the end of the day, it still was cheaper than my other quotes and the unit itself is rated 4 1/2 stars for reliability. The house stays cold all the time, so it works well.

I got three quotes and these guys were definitely not the cheapest, though they were the only ones that mentioned multiple vents throughout the house, which was a big deal for me. They came and installed the cooler and everything went very smoothly. They cleaned up after themselves and got it looking very nice. The problems began after installation, though, when the cooler didn't actually cool anything. It just blew air. I had them come out on six separate occasions to try to diagnose the problem, and each time they left assuring me it had been fixed. Each time I was given a different diagnosis, which was frustrating, and finally they sent a far more knowledgeable technician who was able to replace some parts and got it working. Now that it works, it's fantastic. In the months after installation, when all it did was blow hot air through my house, it was pretty miserable. I will say, though, that they never charged me for coming out and eventually they fixed the problem.

Every thing about this company is 1st class. The sales person that came out was great, she explained everything about the cooler, and helped us to decide where to put the vents. The installers were very good, and did a great job, and cleaned up after they got finished which after working in the attic the rooms were spot\less. The price was very, very much less than Sears, and we got more vents. We are very satisfied with the Cooler Company. The cooler works great, much better than expected.

The cooler install group did a nice job. The electrician hired needed better organization.

The tech came and didn't know much about swamp coolers. He told me what I already knew which was the swamp cooler bearings were shot. He then told me it wasn't possible to recplace them, then later said it was. I asked about new and he said we only do the high eff ones. I asked what that meant and he didn't know. I then asked about AC and he didn't know much about that either. Was a waste of time not knowledgeable about coolers and how to fix/maintain them or new installs either.

Great experience. Little wait time during the busy summer months. Fast, professional team. They also handled the rebate with the power company for us.

I hired this company to install a swamp cooler on my ranch style home. These guys did an amazing job on the install. A++

The people were professional, knowledgeable, courteous, and fast! They even cleaned up thoroughly after themselves! As for the product...all I can say is "Why did I wait and suffer through the heat of 26 summers before doing this?" It's quiet. It keeps the house wonderfully cool, but NOT the yukky cold of AC. And it's energy efficient!

The consult team and install team were great.

Ryan and his crew did a very professional job installing a new swamp cooler for me. I didn't have one before so hole in the ceiling and roof had to be made. They put down tarps on the carpet and plastic over our clothes to keep the insulation from going everywhere. Before they left all the rooms were vacuumed and cleaned. I would recommend The Cooler Company to anyone needing a new evaporation cooler.

After two other quotes, we hired The Cooler Company. Another well known company tried to tell us that we needed a new furnace, as it turns out, our furnace is actually not very old and we had a different issue entirely. Our house gets downright hot now, which is kind of fun, in December. We've owned our home for 5 years and had no idea that the furnace has never worked correctly. Both the estimate and the installation went really well and we couldn't be more pleased.

Quick, professional, and the gentleman that came by to work up a quote was very charismatic. They installed our new evaporative cooler without any fuss and now my husband doesn't melt when it gets hot out. They managed to place the cooler on a part of the roof that can't be seen from the front of the house, so it all looks nice.
