Description of Work: We are extremely happy with their service. They do general pest control for us. They are very responsive. We have a problem with wasps that get into the roof of a bay window. Whenever we call for a supplement service, they come out almost immediately to treat the wasp problem. They are very courteous and timely. We have one tech that we have worked with for several years.

Description of Work: They treated our soil in 2002 and they now come out yearly to do checks. We haven't had any issues!

Description of Work: The Denver address is meaningless to me. I used the local Baldwin County, AL Terminix service and have for over 25 years. I useTerminix for termite prevention and bond only and I am a DIY person for all other household insect and pest control and have been for many years. |This is a very difficult service to fairly rate. You probably know or should know there was a great change in this business several years ago in the methodology of termite treatment and control brought about by the introduction of the FORMASON TERMITE. In my opinion Terminix was in the lead of these changes and many of their competitors were exceedingly slow to adapt. Description of Work: I have had a termite bond with terminex for 38 years. I found termites in my garage. My wife gave terminex a call. A couple days later they sent a man out. He looked at them and said yes that is termites. He said he would put us on their schedule. The earliest they could come out would be in about a month and a half. Well I thought to myself they could do a lot of damage in that amount of time, but with the bond they should fix the damages. In the mean time termites were swarming in our house. We gave them a call and the office lady said someone would give us a call within 24 to 48 hours. I have not got that call yet. They did come out in a month and a half. He checked the contract and said that was the wrong kind of termites. We were not covered but they could exterminate them for $1,600.00. Then he said since we were long term customers he would do it for $900.00. I called a competitor and they were out here within a hour. They inspected my house and gave me a price of $400.00 and was out here the next day fixing the problem. |The man with terminex also said he did not think the garage was built at the same time as the house and it probably was not covered anyway, which is not true.

Description of Work: After I found termites active in the framing around my garage door, Terminix sent several people to inspect the damage and the lively termites.

Description of Work: Well I didn't use Terminix Denver, but for some reason they think I used them. Regardless, Terminix is Terminix, and just about everybody is stuck with them. Overall they are basically a poor company to deal with. They have greatly reduced the personnel at their local offices in favor of their national call center, but most of those reps are poorly trained and/or incompetent. The only one that ever seems to know what is going on is your local branch manager, but good luck getting in contact with that person. However, with that said all the branch managers and field inspectors seem to be quite good. However, the another real big stink with them, is they apply their spray treatment, but then want to charge you big bucks for the ground stakes (bait traps) which get checked/refreshed annually. You would think it would be to their advantage to provide this new service at a greatly reduced price because if they ever had to repair termite damage, the repairs would greatly exceed the cost of the stakes by many, many times.

Description of Work: I had an appointment for roach treatment in an empty rental. They gave me a 4 hour window from 8 AM until 12 noon. The property is around 10-12 miles from my residence. I arrived at the property at about 7:45 AM. I did a few chores around the property and waited until 11:15. they had not arrived or called so I called to verify they were coming. They confirmed the appt but could not reach the service person but said someone would be there. At 12:15 I called again. They finally found a manager that told me they would be there between 3 and 5 PM. I replied That after waiting for 4.5 hours that I would not return but there was a lock box on the property and gave him that code. He wanted to know how he was going to be paid. I told him to call me when they arrived and I would give them a debit or credit card number. That was agreed however no one called or showed up. One good customer tells 10 people. One angry person tells 100 people and that is where I am. Terminex is likely the worst service company I have ever encountered in my 72 years!!!!

Description of Work: Terminix did not inform me how to prepare my house in advance for an extermination, although I talked with them twice on the phone and went on the web page. When they arrived I was not prepared and then stayed up all night emptying out my kitchen for them to return the next day. They called and cancelled that appointment. There is no personal service since you always talk to someone in another state. They refused to give me the number of the local supervisor. I was very upset at their unprofessional manner and lack of responsibility for their appointments. I called a local exterminator instead, I would advise you to do the same. Very shoddy and flakey group of people. DON'T USE THEM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
