Terminix - Denver -Termite & Pest Control

Don't trust me specifically, trust the 3,710 closed complaints on the BBB website for Terminix services in Denver. No that was not a typo. My BBB complaint will make it 3,711. Look, I don't typically leave reviews but you should be aware that this particular branch (likely a franchisee) will not respond if you have an issue. They tell you that they will send a tech and an inspector out upon initial sign up and, if it's like my experience, they will not send the inspector out to look for other issues in your home and claim it;'s because of staffing issues. I will give credit to the fact that they did come and spray around the house and treated the interior. I will also say the tech was pretty good. But they have, so far, refused to refund any portion of the initial cost for the inspection service they didn't provide. They claim its a free service, yet would not provide the inspection had aI not signed up for the first service visit. Not sure how that is a "free inspection" but according to their logic it is. Again, don't believe me, believe the horrid reviews on BBBs website and judge for yourself.

They were out and we were not at home. Its a yearly charge so I couldn't tell you the price right off the top of my head. I don't have any complaints. He keeps in touch even though we weren't home he left messages about running late and that sort of thing. He was good about keeping in touch. And then later he left us a message about what he had found and what he had done about it. We certainly have had no complaints. On the occasions when we have been home they have been quite professional.

Free inspection was just that. I honestly felt bad that he drove all the way to Evergreen to take one look at my problem & tell me exactly what I could buy from Home Depot to deal with it & I did not need professional services.

I signed up with this company to do their quarterly treatments and with that deal comes a free home inspection. They do not train the same people who actually do the treatments to also do inspections. So the gentleman who was supposed to come do the treatments showed up on time, was very nice and I had no issues with. Here is my issue: I was promised a free inspection with my service sign up. I drove up there from Denver to meet this inspector on 9/14 and he didn't show up. When I called I was told they scheduled it incorrectly So I rescheduled it for this past Saturday 9/27 - I was called at 5pm the night before (fri night) cancelling my service and luckily I had not yet made the 2 hour drive up there just to meet these people. THen I rescheduled for a 3rd time and the next day got a call from Terminex in Colo Springs telling me they don't service the Winter Park area and they scheduled me wrong again. I have called asking to speak to a supervisor. They refuse to give me a number of someone, instead I have to submit a request to talk to one and they get to choose to call me back or not. Of course three days later and I have not heard a word. Their main website has all disconnected numbers on it and I am pretty much at a loss of what to do next except to cancel my service with these people. It is disappointing b/c they are a nationally known company but I would never recommend this company here in Denver to anyone, not even to my enemies

If you have a problem you just call them and they'll come and do it.

Terminix bought out a small independent company we had been using with a lot of success. After the takeover 3-4 years ago we stayed with Terminix out of convenience. Unfortunately, the spiders and Elm beetles took over our house. Plus, the small field mice loved our garage. Terminix came out several extra times with minimal success stopping the infestation problems. They would spray the exterior of the house and only spray inside when I requested this service. I have finally given up on Terminix and am trying another locally owned, small company I found on Angie's List. .

I never had any problem with the service until I tried to cancel. Because of traveling I wanted to wait until I was home again and then restart. I contacted Terminex and told them I was canceling for now. The woman I spoke with on the phone said that was fine. A month later they came to my house anyway and later sent me a bill for the service that I did not want and demanded that I pay. Every time they called me I told them I had already canceled service months ago. There was not one person I spoke to who was at all professional. They were arrogant, belligerent, condescending, and refused to listen. All they kept saying was that they did the service and they want their money. After trying to deal with 4 different corporate people, I suggested we split the difference since they were more concerned with getting their money than keeping a 3 year loyal customer. Reluctantly, to say the least, they agreed. I will never use a company that treats people with such disdain.

My ac stopped working and when ac repairman inspected outside unit, he found that mice had chewed through some wiring and had built a nest inside my unit. I called Terminix out as I have a yearly contract with them and service technician, Naymon Rossiii came out next day and cleaned nest residue up and set traps. He inspected all along the foundation and saw no other activity. Living in rural area, we have many pests and creepy crawlers and Naymon takes care of all the unwanted critters.

We have used Terminix for several years at one rental location. They constantly changed service representatives. This time Brett failed to show up for a scheduled service. I called their number and was transferred to a call center in Georgia, not Denver. Even when provided with a confirmation number from the estimate they could not find any information on the appointment. When I asked to speak with a different representative or the local office they refused. Over the years my rental property business has spent between $2000 and $3000 per year with Terminix and their techs and office personnel have consistently been a problem. They are also much more expensive than the new company we are using. They appear to have grown too large to offer service and customer support. We will not be using them again.

They have been very satisfactory over the years. They come four times a year. They spray the inside and the outside of the house. The particular service man that has been coming to my son's house is very pleasant and very professional. A couple of years ago, they have sent a different service person who was not very satisfactory and my son called up the Terminix people to ask them to send out this other one that he had been dealing with in the future and they did that. It has been very satisfactory since then. I think they charge about $350 for the entire year.

I have used them in the past and they were great. They came, set out mouse traps, and charged me for 1 visit plus 3 months of service around $150. Great! NOW, THEY REQUIRE $146 FOR FIRST 3 MONTH AND THEN 3 MORE PAYMENTS OF $105 FOR 3 MORE MONTHS. TOTAL RIP OFF. DON'T USE.

They were really easy to work with and affordable. The gentlemen was really nice and good to work with.

My experience with Terminix has always been good. Even when we had a mouse problem in between visits, they came out, set traps, and handled what they needed to do. We have also had some bee and wasp problems. They will come out and take down the nests and spray.

They come on time. They give me an advance notice when they are coming and give me a chance to change the schedule if I need to. They usually show up during the scheduled time period that they schedule me for, and sometime they are early but for the most part they stick the schedule. I rate them very highly and I highly recommend them.

They give good service. I haven't had any issues with pests because of them. I will use them again in the future.

There is nothing that I dislike about them. They always come out when they are supposed to and when I ask them to. They are always punctual and usually within a week I no longer see any of the bugs in or around my home.

I felt the price was way to high. They seemed way to interested in setting up a contract and did not want to give a proper evaluation without doing so. I later called someone else and they were going to be able to do the work for a third of the price.

I think that they are very effective. They did a good job. They've got good service. The servicemen are very knowledgeable and are very personable.

They have been okay. They came out and did an extra spraying at no charge because we have a yearly contract with them.

Everything was great. They came here pretty quickly the next day. They told me what payments they had. I can pay automatically. The quality of the service was great. The person was very friendly and clean. He put shoe boots on.

They did fine. It was a one time application & I've had no problems since.

They will spray inside if you want them to, but I didn't need that. I'm pleased with their services. I have no complaints about them.
