I already told the story :)
Description of Work: Air conditioner stopped working altogether. I tried to troubleshoot, but couldn't figure it out. Turned out to be the fuse on the furnace shutoff switch. The sad part was that I looked at the fuse, but it didn't APPEAR to be blown. I should have checked it with my multimeter. The tech looked at the fuse and said it wasn't blown either so he replaced the switch because the power wasn't getting past the switch. That didn't fix it so he checked the fuse with the multimeter and it was indeed blown. So, I paid 130 for a blown fuse, but he fixed it. The lesson is check fuses with a multimeter!!!! He was very helpful. Showed me a few things. Explained a few things about the HVAC system in the house and answered several questions.
