Excellent service and quick work

The patch on the leak didn't work. This wasn't the serviceman's fault as we had discussed the chances that it wouldn't before he began. Where we were dissatisfied was with the bill we later received for the electronic control box. They charged us $305.00 plus $70.00 labor for a clock we could have bought at home depot for about $75.00.

Good work, fast, and at a good price.

The whole thing was no muss no fuss from start to finish. They were understanding when I had to postpone the installation in order to till the area for the new sod, which I didn't think of until the last minute. They installed the system soon after I had the tilling completed. When they were done, they scheduled a time to conduct a thorough walk through of the system to show me how the controller worked and answer all my questions.

I'd run over several of my sprinkler heads with the lawn mower & had another one not spraying properly on an old, existing system. The technician, Peter, arrived a little early and had the situation completely scoped out before I arrived. Within a half hour, he'd repaired or replaced the Rainbird Maxi Paw heads that were malfunctioning. When he tested the system, found the wire to the timer was severed; repaired that in just a couple of minutes and was then able to test the other repairs he'd made. One of the replaced heads showed evidence that the line had a serious leak or breakage. Even though I hadn't scheduled Piper to take care of this type of problem, he spent at least 45 minutes trying to run down the leak. He was finally forced to leave for his next scheduled appointment, but said he would schedule me a subsequent return visit to continue to fix my leak. When I called their office the next day, my repair was already scheduled. This company is very responsive, very personable, and they did good quality work and their rates were reasonable. I AM using them again. Not only for my minor repairs, but for a completely new system in my front yard!

It was fine. They came earlier than planned, so I wasn't home.

I used this company because of the convenient location. I liked that they were able to schedule me in quickly. The technician that they sent solved the problem quickly and fixed it.

Scheduling and communication was good - professional and timely. The technician arrived on time, figured out the leak problem, fixed it, and blew out the system; however, we couldn't find the inside shut-off valve, and he concluded it didn't have one and that I should heat wrap the exposed pipe. A handyman later decided to try the one I thought was the shut off for it that the Piper technician had disregarded, and it was indeed the sprinkler shut off. However, even with this error, I would use them again for seasonal work on the system. The technician was very courteous and patient, and showed me how to work the system since I've never had one.

The worker was on time and finished the job in about 15 minutes. Stayed around to show me some things after I'd paid. The previous folks I had look at my leak in the valve box said I'd need the manifold rebuilt for around $400. Piper found that the problem was a warped $25 piece, the outer part of the master valve. They also only charged a $5 fuel charge instead of $45 trip charge like other company.

I found them on Angie's List with very good recommendations. So I was expecting the best, I wasn't disappointed. I was very pleased and would recommend them to anyone.

Part of our lawn was dying because sprinkler not working well. I called a couple of companies from the list, all of whom were booking weeks out. I called Piper and when I said we were going away on vacation, they got me an appointment that day. When the guy showed up, he fixed the head and then when I told him we had just moved in, he insisted on checking the whole system to make sure that it was all working well. This is a great company.

I was really pleased to find them. I failed to winterize a couple years ago and had leaky valves, as a result. Two other companies I'd contacted said the whole system needed to be replaced, and gave me a quote of $2,500. Piper, in contrast, gave me a quote for simply repairing what needed to be repaired and the final cost was under their estimate. The system is working perfectly now, and it cost me less than one-fifth of what the other companies quoted me.

The work was great. They are awesome.

We explained that the leak had been there since last fall. He said the hole was likely right near where the squishy part of the lawn was. He dug and found the leak very quickly. He fixed it immediately with parts from his truck. Because he finished so fast what might have been a long, expensive job, we felt bad and offered to let him install a small set of sprinkler nozzles in a part of landscaping that we had finished planting ourselves last year. We had the sprinkler hose set up already but had not yet finished installing the drip heads and linking it to the system. He indicated he didn't have enough time to do it that day, made some recommendations about what kind of sprinkler heads would be easiest for us to install, finished up, and left. So far the fix seems to be holding.

I had another company come in to turn on the system in the spring. The technician was not able to understand how the system worked or turn it on properly. I was apprehensive about selecting the next company to work on the system due to my earlier experience. I found and selected Piper Sprinkler Co through Angie's List. The technician arrived on time, was very professional and courteous. The best part - within 5 minutes of looking at the irrigation system control panel he understood and explained exactly how it worked. He located the leak based on the location I suspected and repaired it. The same technician returned on another day to shut down the system for the winter. I was very satisfied with their service and would highly recommend them to other customers.

Quick response for the summer startup service which went very well. Took awhile for them to return to move lines and replace sprinklers (busy time of the year), work went very well. Made good recommendations and completed work professionally, also exhibited good knowledge and experience.

They offered the lowest price in comparison to 2 other companies. Jerry Piper is the owner who gave the estimate. Lynn, the secretary was very helpful and knowledgeable. I was very satisfied with the overall experience. The installers were well trained. I have referred the business to my nephew.

First off, they forgot about the appointment. I had to call them back to see if and when they would be coming. When he did arrive, he seemed very put off by the fact that he had to be here. He then tried to sell me the most expensive sprinkler head without any explanation as to why it would be better than a different sprinkler head. In the end, he rushed through the work, and never apologized for being late.

I have had bad valves, leaks and under watered parts of my lawn for 2 years since I moved in. I have been trying to do it on my own and spent alot of time and money and always seemed to be the same old mess. I finally called in Piper and in about 1 hour and for very little money compared to the past 2 years, everything is finally working. If you are not a major do-it-yourself person, just stop digging and buying the heads, pipes, whatever and call these guys.

We had a complicated installation and Piper Sprinkler did a tremendous job. They are true professionals with experienced crews and a 100 percent commitment to doing the job right. I was especially grateful for the comprehensive walkthrough the business owner gave before payment was due, giving me the knowledge I will need to keep my system maintained and running for years to come. A local company that does business the way you wished all trades would conduct business.

The receptionist set the time and said that he would there around 10 AM. He called at 9:45 to let me know that he was running 10 minutes late. He was at my house at exactly 10:10 am. He professional, polite and very knowledgeable. He explained to my why it happened and how to prevent it in the future. He left my yard like he never dug a hole. Wonderful company!! I will use them for all my sprinklers needs.

I called to inquire about their service for sprinkler systems and they never called me back. They did not have a receptionist answering calls. It went directly to voicemail. I used another vendor.

The tech was on time, knowledgeable, courteous and did the work with no problems. The cost was very close to the estimate I was given on the phone.
