Description of Work: Built & replaced 2 architectural windows for the front of our home. Everyone, from the salesman & sales manager to the installers were professional and did a great job. Eric, the installer was meticulous and did an outstanding job with the installation of the windows and the molding. They look beautiful!

Description of Work: We had 3 fixed picture type windows in our master bedroom that we wanted to be converted to functioning windows for air flow/cross ventilation. Our original plan was awning windows. We got bids from several companies but Melissa with Pella was the only one who came up with a less expensive alternative. They installed sliders instead, for a fraction of the price of awnings. They look great and we love the results. The installers did a great job. We would totally recommend Pella to anyone looking for new windows.

+ 1 moresee above Was forced by list to rate last six items even tho we didn't trade directly with Pella. Just went to showroom to see them.
Description of Work: Nice Pella sliding door was incorporated in a remodel done by Brad Anderson, an ace contractor. Only beef is with the sliding screen. We thought it was pretty neat when we saw it in the Pella showroom. Slides across in the INSIDE, doesn't get hammered by WX. But there are problems which we saw before we bought and have proven to be worse than expected: 1. You can't move the window with the screen closed 2. In a high bug area, the screen fills up--like with Millers--then the rolling mechanism jams and it won't retract 3. Smallest ding--like dog tried to go thru it one night -- and it won't roll up completely anymore. You might love it, but I'd not do it again. It's a flawed concept. We also got the inner blinds which work great if the window is CLOSED!

We had one inexperienced caulk guy and it showed. Unfortunately we did not take the window by window approach and we've had to clean up some sloppy work.

+ -1 moreThey came out and gave us a quote but they never did any work for us. They quoted us around $4500. They had to remove the old door and put in the new door. Their door was unique and besides that they had blind inside the door which is something that we really liked; but what we didn't like was the fact that they initially sent a sales rep that was not able to initially schedule, so they sent out someone else who gave us a quote. He was kind of newer at the whole thing and I had no responses from him for any emails I sent. We never had any response from them to get the work done.
Description of Work: I interacted with Pella Windows & Doors probably back in April of this year to replace the doors.

+ -1 moreWhen the crew came to do the work, they were great. It took no time at all to remove the old windows, they were not installed very well. They showed me every step of the replacement process. they took great care to make sure the window openings were well insulated, new trim, flashing and caulking. One of the things that needed done was replacement of all the window trim. In order to help me cut costs, they let me pick the trim up from their warehouse and prime it so it was ready for them to install. I really appreciated Adams willingness to help me do this since it certainly wasn't routine.
Description of Work: The builder grade windows in the 15 year old home we bought in 07 were in horrible condition, they leaked rain, cold air and had no uv coating so the summer heat cooked our home. We researched our replacement window options, used consumer reports and other information, then met with our top three choices and ended up choosing Pella windows. We met with sales rep Adam Williams. Adam was great to work with, he helped us look at our window options, and came up with windows that would work for our budget. We have really enjoyed the new windows. the coatings really do make a difference in cutting out the amount of heat and cold that penetrate into our home.

+ 0 moreExcellent! Sales person was extremely professional. Measurements taken were exacting and perfectly correct. Installer arrived ahead of time and did an excellent, professional job. It was an odd size door opening that required everything been done exacting. They did it! Wow! The quality of the doors and installation is the best. We are extremely happy with the result. Pella costs a bit more but well worth it.
