Description of Work: Thank god for Paradise!! Had a furnace go out and called Bell Plumbing in Denver just before 10pm. Again a hour later. Finally someone showed up after 11. He checked the furnace, got it going after a lot of time spent in a crawl space and only charged us a $75 after hour service fee. They could have ripped us off but didn't. He did say we need an estimate for a new control board or new furnace and the control board would be about $900. We contacted several companies to give us a quote and we were convinced we were gonna lay out $3000. for a new furnace. Paradise came by and told us we didn't need a new furnace, just a control board. By our shock he said the installation of a control board wasn't $900 , as Bell Plumbing and heating said, but $300 installed... Sweet. I will call Paradise first and feel comfortable. Paradise heating and plumbing is "Patadise" !!!

Description of Work: They checked our 2 furnaces to make sure they were ready for the upcoming winter season. Good price and I assume thorough service. A couple of days later a cold front moved in. One furnace wuoldn't ignite. I assumed it was a burned out ignitor and I replaced it with a spare I always keep on hand... it still wouldn't ignite so I called John, the owner. He walks me thru a check list and it turns out his tech hadn't turned the gas valve back on after the check he did on the furnace. John was apologetic that I'd done the work and discarded what was probably a perfectly good ignitor. How could he make it up to me?? Mistakes happen...I suggested he sould sell me a couple of ignitors at his cost so I'd have a couple of spares that were bargain priced. He said that was more than fair and would drop a couple off . Still haven't heard from him, and don't expect too. If I don't hear from him, he won't hear from me.

Description of Work: Ryan was very knowledgeable and answered my questions. My furnace was cleaned and he replaced a defective clamp. Well worth the money!

Description of Work: Our air conditioner had stopped working (turns out, we hadn't been changing the filters like we should have been), and Ryan got it to working again. He defrosted the hoses, changed the filters, and replaced some parts that were worn out. He was very friendly and professional! I would definitely recommend Paradise, and will call them again when I need help. (I found out that my property manager also uses Paradise, and thinks very highly of them. When I told her I had an AC problem in my own house, she told me to call Paradise, which I already had!)

Description of Work: I set the appointment with John the owner. It was easy and quick.He sent Manuel to my house. He is the technician and arrived on time.I bought a furnace tune-up from Angie's list for $59. He did a professional and thoroughjob on the furnace tune-up. I mentioned that my furnace filter was not installed properlyby the company that initially installed the furnace. I also told him I had another furnacecompany quote me over $1000 to make the filter work properly. The filter didn't completelycover the hole from the duct work so some air did not get filtered. Manuel said he could fixit in a hour at $80 per hour. He did and it is much better and done at a reasonable and fair price.

Description of Work: I purchased the $69 air conditioner clean plus 1 pound of freon. Turns out it was overfilled, and freon had to be removed. I still don't understand why, but this took an additional $80 of effort above and beyond the purchased price.

Description of Work: I am very pleased with the service, professionalism and responsiveness with this company. If I could give A++ I would. I contacted them yesterday with a broken air conditioner and the company that had 'fixed' it is now out of business. John called me back within 30 minutes and on a holiday weekend, set up an appointment for today (friday). The technician, Manuel, was GREAT!! He even took his shoes off when he came into our house. He walked me through everything that he was checking and why and once he identified the problem he was very quick to fix it. The price was less than I expected and now I have my air conditioner back. I will most certainly recommend this company and will use them for all our heating & A/C needs in the future.
