The appointment was set up for 3-5:00 pm and our technician called to let us know he was going to be running late. He called early in the afternoon to let us know that he would be arriving at the later part of the time frame and would it be okay with us. We really appreciated that he called. John tested & inspected the system and gave a complete explanation of how it was operating, while he was checking it out. I was impressed to know that even though another company who had installed the A/C about 10 years ago made some mistakes, John explained that if was decided to make the minor repairs, what the costs were, but between us, we decided that it was functioning good and operating well and the repairs were not needed at this time. There was no pressure on up selling!!! The total cost was $109.00, but with the coupon provided on Angie's list for $69.00, our final charge was $40.00. Awesome!!! John, the technician was very polite and professional and we highly recommend this company and if we have a future need, we will use this company.

They found the water pressure coming into the house had cracked a coupling (i'm guessing the part name here), and they showed me exactly where and what. They replaced it and changed the intake pressure to the required pressure. I knew it would instantly help how much water was pouring from my sink in the kitchen which had always been extremely fierce. Then, they explained my water temp was not getting hot because of how the tank was unable to heat with the settling in the bottom. They recommended a SMALLER heater than what I had! I felt I was in great hands as I had them replace it!

He was very professional, did his job in a timely manner. He was very informative about the needs of our AC unit. We will use them again this year to make the necessary repairs.

They are just a good old family and I like working with them. We will work with them forever.

John was very nice and worked around some crazy scheduling and snow problems. He told us how long it would take for the job, and he was right on the money.

All went very smooth. Showed up on time, quickly did tune up.

At the end of the work, he said now I owed another 60.00 because the repair was beyond the cleaning stage. I would have appreciated the information in a more timely fashion. It seemed that he had to work longer at it and then said we owed more than I had already paid on Angies list. The repairman was nice enough just wanted the information sooner... than later. One month later the A/C stopped working but I didn't want to call them back.

I bought the coupon and actually used it for another property as well. The first property work seemed to be ok and when they came to do my home, the contractor was working on the cleaning service and broke the valve. He indicated he would like me to pay for it. I declined and so he left and went back to his shop and got another valve and installed it. He finished up his work in another 1/2 hour or so and left. I had no way of knowing how non-complete his service was until I had my furnace replaced a few weeks ago and when the new HVAC contractor removed the old furnace and installed the new one, he showed me the interior of the old furnace and it was filthy. Covered with caked on dust and grime and so I am forced to say their cleaning service is a scam. I would not recommend them and I am glad they did NOT get back to me on replacing the furnace - which I requested.

Respected my time and called me at work so I could meet him without waiting around for a window of time. Made some great suggestions on options to save money on cooling systems.

The technician was polite and seemed to know what he was doing, he pointed out that the heat exchanger is near the end of its life, but didn't pressure me to have him do the repair.

They came, did the job and gave me my information. They were good.

I woke up at 5am with a furnace blowing cold air non-stop. I found a couple of HVAC companies online and left several messages. I heard back from John with Paradise Heating within the hour. He was able to come out and pinpoint the problem (needed new high-limit switch and control board). John took the time to explain to me what the problem was, he had a couple suggestions of work I might want to do later (add a flue liner to the flue pipe), and told me important things like that I should change the furnace filter every month (as opposed to...every year). The furnace needed a specific branded control board which John didn't have in the truck, so he did what he could and let me know that Ryan would be picking up the part and installing it. Within about 40 minutes of John leaving Ryan arrived with the part. In about one hour I had heat again! I found both John and Ryan to be very friendly and professional, I felt completely at ease with them in my house (being a single woman this is something that is important to me). I am definitely going to use them for all my HVAC needs, including installing a flue liner this summer. I highly recommend Paradise Heating.

Very friendly and honest. I was out of town and my wife met with the service technician who was able to tune up our furnace as well as provide insight about the condition. Technician did not push more services and came across as very honest. I will use this company again.

John was absolutely great. Sure enough, my furnace went out Sunday morning right before President's Day. I looked at the furnace, saw that it wasn't igniting and there was a crack in my igniter. It was a very easy thing to pull out, the only problem is that the igniter was not available at any of the big box stores and if I bought it online, I wouldn't get it for a few days at the earliest but my furnace wasn't working so I needed one now. I called a lot of companies even the ones that were very well rated on Angie's List and was pretty much told that they'd be happy to charge me $200-$300 to come out and replace it but they wouldn't just sell one to me. Then I called Paradise and spoke with John. He was great. He agreed to allow me to come pick it up and charged me a very fair price. He didn't try to sell me any of his services and even gave me a few ideas for the cause of the igniter failing without saying "I'll come fix it, I'll come fix it" like most companies do. He knew that I liked to do things myself and catered his advice to me given that. John was great, honest, understanding, patient and just a good person. I definitely will hire Paradise when I have jobs that I am not comfortable doing myself. Thanks a ton John!!

Paradise showed up on time and installed a humdifier I had previously purchased. The HVAC room has air and water filtration equipment already attached - they did a great job of ensuring that the humidifier was installed in a manner suitable for the other equipment. They also ran a vent into my garage for me. Both installations were done with a focus on quality and the results showed it. They're employees are great - very respectful, thorough, kind, etc.

Installer arrived on time, explained the instalation process. Took about an hour and a half for the installation. Explained seasonal operation of the unit and cleaned-up nicely before he left. I am very pleased with the result.

Scheduled a service call on my heating system before I turned it on. Quick service, 3 day turn around. Punctual arrival. Checked and serviced the unit, which was in good condition. Didn't try to sell me anything I didn't need. Cleaned up when he was done. Would use this company again and would highly recommend them.

good experience. purchased 2 furnace inspections about a year ago. one was used for one residence, performed promptly/professionally. several problems were found there, subsequently addressed with good result and reasonable cost. I never got around to using the other; when called, paradise was very willing to honor it beyond the expiration date. I called them recently because of a difference in opinion regarding the state of the furnace in a different residence. I had called a different angies list vendor regarding a deal for a whole-house humidifier. my needs could not be determined over the phone, and a representative came out to review my situation. following a remarkably brief check, he declared my furnace dangerous and requiring replacement (cracked heat exchanger), and offered me several deals on furnaces. I subsequently had xcel come out (I have a service plan through them)--the same day, as they were concerned about the safety--and no problem was found. to break the "tie", I called paradise. they were courteous and responded promptly. manuel came out and conducted his inspection professionally, answering my questions and giving his advice without trying to sell me anything. john called me subsequently to elaborate on some of the questions I had. manuel actually guessed--before even starting-- what the other vendor had told me, and found no problems, doing a seemingly thorough inspection/cleaning/filter replacement, and testing for carbon monoxide. I would go to them for service again.

They were prompt and we had no issues.

Joined Angie's List on Monday morning as it was below zero here in Denver, I awoke to an unresponsive furnace, and the indoor temp was dropping like a rock! No idea who to call as I'm fairly new in town. The first two names on her list were too busy to guarantee service that day. So the third recommendation I called, John at Paradise, provided a welcome relief! He came out within the hour, got my furnace back up and purring almost immediately, and charged a very fair price. There were two benefits. First, I now have an HVAC company that I will use whenever needed, and second, I have Angie for ALL my needs in my new city!

Excellent service. Service provider called in advance, notified us of his arrival. Explained the procedure and performed installation quickly and carefully. A drainage problem was solved at no additional charge. Use and maintenance of the humidifier was explained, The humidifier works fantastically.

I was concerned about the sound of my furnace and was not sure how to get at the filter. The furnace is in the crawl space. I called John and he called back almost immediately. His firm was experiencing a shortage of workers due to the flu. He said he did not think he could make it out on the day I called. He said he would see how the schedule went. He called me a couple of hours later and said he could swing by. I had requested an inspection and "tune-up". He inspected the furnace, said it was fine, and only charged me for a visit. He explained that it was a two cycle furnace, hence the different sounds, and explained that the cold air return filters were all that were necessary.
