Description of Work: Do not trust this company. They supposedly did an aeration, fertilization and overseed. My lawn didn't green up from the fertilization and I saw no signs of seeds after close inspection of the lawn. I called and asked for them to redo the service. The agreed to redo everything. The lady even warned me that fertilizing a 2nd time might burn the lawn. I told them to proceed because I don't believe it was done the first time. Someone came out again. I spoke to the person and he said he would start. I was home this time. I saw his truck parked outside for 5 minutes then they just left. Again, there was no signs anything was done. They didn't even go my backyard. I called customer service and basically said it was my work against their workers. They tried to tell me that the redo was just a re-seed. I told them we agreed to re-do everything over the phone. Lady even warned me about the fertilizting. I asked for a refund and they said there is nothing they could do. A general manager or something would have to review and get back with me. Ridiculous. Spend your hard earned money elsewhere.

 + -1 moreThey were quick, which isn't always good. They missed some spots in aeration. Found out later they had spilled fertlizer on the lawn, which burned a patch of grass... they never told me about it. Found their customer service very difficult to reach, and anxious to get me off the phone as soon as possible. They had me on their phone solicitation list, which I asked to be removed from. Still occasionally get calls from them, but won't use them again.
Description of Work: Mile Hi came out fertilize and aerate the lawn.

window cleaning
 + -1 moreThey cleaned my windows. The did a good job except they made me pay extra to apply Rain-x to my windows which supposedly keeps them cleaner. However, it does not. The windows get just as dirty after a rain. Price is per window.

 + -1 moreTwo young men, prompt, very nice, but quality of clean poor. Spots remain. They said the spots would be gone when carpet was dry in 45 monutes. 100% money back if dissatisfied, but have not heard from anyone and my check has been cashed. I have always used Stanley Steemer and most likely will go back to them.

 + -1 moreExtremely poor. No cleaning of the rear upstairs windows. Others were smeared. After my complaint, was rescheduled for today(5 June), and no one showed up at all. Mile High had emailed, and called with a reminder of the appt, but no service people called or showed up. I would definitely not recommend this company for any of their services.

 + -1 moreMile Hi Services was not able to service the lawn on the initial day they indicated. However, they did leave us a voicemail and came the following day. They did a fine job aerating and fertilizing the lawn. They were offering a special on the fertilizer -- half off. I tried to book them online, but their website was having difficulties. I had better luck with their phone service.

 + -1 moreHorrible experience with customer service. These guys are good at aerating lawns, but very mediocre at taking care of customers. They only did half the job the first day. When I called to speak to someone about this, I was dumped into a voice mailbox and didn't get a return call. I kept calling the next day and kept getting dumped to the same mailbox, which couldn't accept any more messages because it was FULL! It's a bad sign when the person in charge of customer service has a full voice mailbox and isn't returning calls. When I called back and spoke to the people answering the phone, they conveyed a very ho-hum indifference, as if unhappy customers were just a routine part of the job. Every time you call them, plan to be on hold and listen to their cheery self-promotion for 4-5 minutes, and, if you wish to speak to a person rather than be dumped into someones voice mail, you have to be very insistent. I don't like being pushy, so it was a very poor customer service experience.
Description of Work: Aeration plus seeding. They aerated the first day but neglected to put the seed down, so they had to return after I called them. Good job on the aeration, weak job on the seeding, i.e., their employee rushed, didn't hit the corners very well and the seed was very sparsely laid. It was probably a waste of money for the seeding.

air duct cleaning
 + -1 moreThe two men were very efficient and friendly. Cleaning was overdue so it was a big job, which was done in about ninety minutes. They also cleaned the dryer duct and gave us tips about keeping it cleaned out to prevent overheating and fires.
Description of Work: Clean out air conditioning and heating duct work, and clean out duct from clothes dryer. Also sanitize vents.

 + -1 moreCompany has been doing this work for us for several years, they do a very good job. They work in a group and work fast. There is no clean up involved in this job. Plugs are left on the grass. They do their work, pick up their check (which can be left under the mat on the porch) and leave.
Description of Work: Company comes out on a regular basis to aerate the lawn in the front and back yards.

 + -1 moreThese folks did a nice job, and were considerate. I was having a barbeque in the backyard when they came, and they decided to do the front yard first, to give us time to retreat to the house. There were plenty of 'plugs' in the lawn to allow moisture to penetrate our lawn. It is certainly worth it to me to pay someone to do this rather than buy and store an aerator myself.
Description of Work: They aerated our whole lawn, front and back yard. We don't have side yards with grass, but I'm sure those would be included in the $35 if you have them.

 + -1 moreWE RECEIVED A CALL FROM MILE HI TO COME, AND DO OUR LAWN SINCE THEY WERE IN THE NEIGHBORHOOD THAT DAY ANYWAY. WE AGREED, AND AGREED ON 40.00 FOR BOTH FRONT AND BACK. THEY DID NOT SHOW UP ON THE SCHEDULED DAY NOR DID THEY CALL. WE CALLED THEM BACK, AND THEY TOLD US THEY HAD RUN BEHIND, AND WOULD BE BACK THE NEXT DAY BETWEEN 10:00 AND 2:00. THEY DIDN'T SHOW UP BY TWO SO I CALLED AND TALKED TO A SUPERVISOR, AND TOLD HIM THIS WAS UNACCEPTABLE, AND THEY NEEDED TO GET THERE AS PROMISED. FINALLY THE TRUCK ARRIVED, AND THEY DID A VERY GOOD JOB ON MY LAWN. I LIKELY WOULD NOT CALL THIS COMPANY AGAIN, HOWEVER, BECAUSE I THINK IT REALLY STINKS TO HAVE BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE.
Description of Work: TWO EMPLOYEES CAME OUT TO AERATE BOTH OUR FRONT, AND BACK LAWN. THEY UNLOADED THE TRUCK, AND BROUGHT OUT THE MACHINE THAT DOES THIS WORK. THEY DID THE FRONT YARD FIRST, AND THEN THE BACK YARD SECOND. BECAUSE OF THE SIZE OF THE MACHINE IT ONLY TOOK ABOUT 35 MINUTES TO COMPLETE THE WHOLE JOB. THEY THEN LOADED BACK UP AFTER I PAID THEM THE MONEY.

 + -1 moreTHEY DID DO A GOOD JOB ON THE FRONT YARD WHICH IS SMALL. AFTER LOOKING AT THE BACK YARD WE REALIZED THAT THEY DID NOT DO THE BACK YARD. I HAD TO CALL THEM BACK AND THEY DID RETURN PROMPTLY AND FINISH THE JOB THEY WERE PAID TO DO. AT LEAST THEY DID COME BACK AND FINISH EVEN THOUGH THEY HAD PAYMENT IN FULL.
