I had purchased my home a year ago and never had the fireplace cleaned so neadless to say it was dirty - the glass was so dirty you couldn't see a fire glowing and eight years of dust and dog hair had collected in the lower portion. I called to have my fireplace cleaned and serviced. Leroy was able to come out the next day. He arrived on time, was very nice and restored my fireplace to its original condition. Leroy was able to offer suggestions to add a blower to maximize the heat distribution in the house.

The whole experience was very simple and straightforward and working with Leroy and L&R was excellent. He made sure to lay out how the installation was going to proceed and did a great job of giving us our options. He also was able to get the job done quickly during the holidays. The rates were reasonable and they did a great job.

Great! Leroy gave me a quote over the phone and was willing to install the blower in the manner that I was looking for. Since my house wasn't wired for a blower initially, he told me that he should be able to connect it into a nearby electrical box. Over the phone, his pricing was better than others and he gave me a discount when I mentioned I found him on Angie's List. So the day arrived, and he showed up within 15 minutes of when he said he would. We walked around the fireplace and the basement from where he would have to wire the motor. While he complained that it looked like more work than he expected, he stuck to the original price quote. It took a few hours, but he completed the work as expected. Cleaning out the fireplace was more work than he expected as it had never been cleaned in 20 years, so the glass was pretty hard to remove. Based on our level of satisfaction with Leroy's work, I recommended him to my father for the same thing. The work he did there was of equal quality and my dad was happy with it overall.

Called to get my gas fireplace fixed and leroy was actually able to come the same day. Had parts on truck and fixed quickly. I decided to also add a fireplace fan and control while I had them here and this was also done quickly and professionally with parts on the truck. took great care to keep everything clean and left the work area and fireplace in perfect condtion.

Leroy and his son showed up on time and went right to work. From start to finish it took about 30 - 40 minutes, they did an absolutely great job.

I spoke to Leroy and he said he would come between 1 and 3 that day. He came at 1 . He cleaned the fireplace, including the glass as well as checked for carbon monoxide leaks. He also showed me how to turn on the pilot. I would hire him again. He did a great job.

We call and requested an estimate. Leroy came within a few days of our phone conversation and gave, what we thought was a very reasonable estimate. We were very impressed by his professionalism. He went into a lot of detail re: how he would do the job and wrote out an estimate before he left. When we were ready to have the work done we called him and he was able to schedule the work within a week. His son assisted him. Both were very prompt and friendly. They explained what they were doing and answered all our questions. They were conscientious re: asking where to place the debris from the pit and cleaning up after the job was finished. We will definitely call this company for any plumbing jobs or problems in the future. They finished the work in the estimated amount of time and the charge was exactly the same as the estimate.

He was a really nice guy. He gave me information on why I had the problem. They didn't use a part that they should have. He took care of things and he was a great guy. I would highly recommend him. I am looking at doing a bathroom remodel and I will call him back for the plumbing. He is the package as far as integrity and the things you look for when you have somebody come into your home. I don't know if his price was reasonable and he actually found things that I didn?t know about, such as a slow leak. I don't regret the money that I spent. He went beyond what I had asked him to do. He was very professional with respect on how he conducts himself and his business. He gives you a sense of trust and that things are okay. He does it right. He called and said that he was running a little bit early, which I have never heard.

Almost every other company I called was not able to schedule service for at least 30 days out and were going to charge $30 more for the same service. L & R was here working on my fireplace within the week.

Leroy worked on the phone during the initial call on determining the exact model needed and then came out with general purpose blowers. When these blowers did not work he worked hard to locate the proper part from the manufacturer. He was great at times in the home working quickly to replace the blower. He was also very good with both kids and dogs.

Leroy provided an excellent bid, showed up when he said he would and completed the work quickly and carefully. His primary business is installing gas lines for fireplaces, but he did this plumbing work for me because, a) I found him on Angie's List and, b) Summer is his slowest time for fireplaces. His bid was too low because he hadn't priced copper pipe and fittings for awhile, so I paid him more to compensate for the high prices. He was willing to honor his low bid for the materials and only took the extra money because I insisted. He is a man of his word and can be trusted.

Leroy was very professional, meticulous, honest, and thorough. He quickly assessed the problem, explained it to me in concise laymen terms, executed the repair with precision, and cleaned up. He is the ONLY plumber I ever met who used a level to draw lines on the drywall before cutting it. His work helped to minimize dry wall repair costs. (My carpenter was very impressed as well!). I will certainly use Leroy again.

Leroy was prompt, courteous, neat, and knowledgeable. A very positive experience.

Leroy arrived on time for an estimate and stayed to complete the job. His initiative in calling the natural gas leak to our attention was very much appreciated. Leroy is very clean cut and polite. We will hire him again!

I am someone who expects perfection or as close to perfection as something can be done. Leroy was very detail-oriented, very prompt when he said he would arrive, very professional, polite and courteous, and cleaned his work site after he concluded. After he completed his work, I needed him to perform additional plumbing services, in which he accommodated me, though he was extremely busy with other projects. He is extremely customer service-oriented, and I will continue to use his service exclusively.

He was courteous, punctual, affordable, and did excellent work. I recommend him for any gas work that you need done. He can install gas appliances and fireplaces as well.
