I am extremely pleased with L&R Services and I highly recommend them. If I could give more than 5 stars, I would. I had a small gas leak and Leroy fit me in his busy schedule to help. He was extremely considerate of our house and was very thorough. I made another appointment to have him come back to clean and fix our fireplaces. Again, he was super helpful and considerate of our home, and I couldn’t be more pleased with the work. Leroy was very responsive, knowledge, and extremely professional, and it’s clear that he takes pride in his work. I couldn’t ask for more in someone working on my home. I will definitely use L&R again and I highly recommend them.

L&R Services was great. I called and left a message and Leroy promptly returned my call. He gave me an estimate after I sent him some pictures. Once I approved the estimate he put me on his schedule. On the day of the job, he arrived when he said he would and he repaired my outdoor firepit very quickly. He had all of the parts that he needed and he replaced multiple components of the old gas plumbing that were rusting. He also added some additional structure under the fire ring for support. The new firepit and lava rocks look great. I would hire again.

Leroy was excellent! Very professional. He came on time even in this bad weather and diagnosed the problem. The switch did work when he turned it on a of couple times but he said it wasn't the switch but the fireplace was very dirty. He cleaned it thoroughly rearranged the logs and started it several times. Works and looks great! Will rehire when needed. Very pleased. Only thing was he didn't keep his mask on at all times but still would rehire. Excellent job!!

Excellent! Outstanding service. Leroy promptly called back after I left a message and came at the agreed time. He worked very diligently on the gas fireplace that had not been serviced for 7 years. He checked every single thing, troubleshooting a system that had not been working for many years, and did not stop until the fireplace was working like new! In the meantime, he explained thoroughly (and very patiently!) how everything works to me, and even checked a few other things gas related in the house (I had many questions!). Super tidy and clean. His attention to detail was very impressive. I was also glad to know he also does water plumbing. I am a really satisfied customer! Thank you so much, Leroy.

Leroy installed an automated water main shutoff for us. He was very responsive during the pricing and planning process, arrived on time, did a good job with the install, charged a fair price and was courteous. What more could you ask for?

I was switching from an electric range to a gas range. Leroy was contracted to install the new gas line up to the new range and install the new range. It went wonderfully. He was very easy to work with and solved every issue that was needed to do the conversion. Would highly recommend.

Leroy was absolutely amazing! He was on time, very polite, tidy and explained everything very thoroughly. I'm extremely impressed with his work! We will definitely call Leroy at L&R Services to service our fireplace in the future and if my husband can talk me into putting in a fire pit then Leroy is our guy!

Leroy was a pleasure to work with. I had a shut valve to my outside water faucet and sprinklers that needed to be replaced along with a small segment of pipe. I called Leroy on Wednesday, he gave me a good quote for the work, and came out to perform the services the following week. Very responsive, good work and a good price.

The service man came out about 2 weeks after I called as that was the soonest he was available. He was very pleasant, but his method of adjusting my pilot light was to bang on it with a wrench multiple times. I had 2 blue burning pilots, now one burns yellow, but I really don’t want him to come try fixing it again. I’m afraid he would break it completely. And my fireplace still goes out occasionally. He did go the extra mile to remove a bird’s nest though.

Great. Leroy arrived at the appointed time. He determined our thermal coupler was not working properly to ignite the gas. He replaced our thermal coupler. Thoroughly cleaned the fire box and glass. Before starting his work, he laid protective cloths on the floor to protect our wood floors.

Perfect! Leroy was punctual, professional, and did an outstanding job. We would absolutely hire him again and recommend him to others.

Went well. He was efficient and did good work. Replaced the thermocoupling. Serviced the fireplace, checked for leaks and painted it inside and out.

He returned my message and offered to come see/ help even outside of his normal Mon- Fri routine.

The owner found a short in the wiring and fixed the issue without having to replace the ignition - all within his upfront quoted service fee. He also cleaned the glass and stacked the logs properly to prevent more soot.

A few weeks ago, I noticed water leaking out of a pipe in my basement. I didn't know the source of the problem and was able to find L&R Services online. I called and explained the issue and he was able to come out really quickly. He explained that during the winter months he works on fireplaces and when the weather is warmer he works on plumbing. And since the weather was warming up, he has been doing a little of both on most days. This was far and away the easiest and best experience I've had with a contractor in the past few years. He answered the phone when I called, showed up promptly when he said he would and completed the job quickly and efficiently and for a really reasonable rate. He was even really sweet to my dogs and cat when they would approach to find out who was visiting their house! Upon looking at the pipe, he immediately assessed the probable source of the problem and set to work and before I knew it, the job was complete. I definitely intend to call again with any future plumbing (or fireplace) issues.

I received a prompt response to my online inquiry and an equally prompt response to my request for an appointment. He arrived on schedule, completed the work efficiently, cleaned up after himself, answered all my questions and was professional in all respects. I recommend L & S Services highly.

We were very happy with them. Our gas was shut off when we reported the gas leak, and they were able to fit us in quickly and get us heat again, and then came back in the next day or two to complete the fireplace piping and other fireplace work needed to bring our older gas fireplaces up to code. They explained clearly what work they were doing and why, and took the time to do it right. They were very patient with all our questions, knowledgeable, pleasant, and professional. The work passed the town inspection with no issues. We have recommended them to neighbors and friends.

Quick response, free estimate, great price, work done quickly and professionally. Leroy was very nice, friendly and knew what he was doing.

Tony recommend that since I had already done that much work I should try the test myself first. He explained, in general terms, how to go about setting up for the test myself. He was very nice on the phone and the whole experience was very pleasant. If I find a leak after my test I might just call him to do the work, he seemed honest and told me the test is no more difficult than the other work I had already done.

Before doing this review, I think it is important to note that I have NEVER completed a review for any contractors that I have hired. With that being said, I am so impressed with the exemplary work I received from Leroy at an extremely great price. He exceeded my expectations and was able to fix both faucets even though one of the bathrooms had parts that were no longer available. I can't thank him enough and I highly recommend him. Leroy will be the first person I call for any of my plumbing needs!

Not well. Leroy never followed up. He asked that I send over my info (address, phone number, etc.) and never responded. I even followed up with him again, with no response.
