KEESEN LAWN SPRINKLER SERVICE, INC.

We originally scheduled the service for Wednesday, May 15th in the afternoon. But we received a call during the window of time that the serviceman was supposed to arrive that he was caught up on another job, and would be late. It started raining heavily later that afternoon/evening, so he called us back top reschedule for the following Thursday morning. That Thursday morning, I got a call that the serviceman was sick, so they would be sending someone else the next day. The serviceman that showed up Friday morning was new to the company (he told me this early in our meeting). I told him that I was concerned about the pressure in one zone in hte front yard, and that our timer-box was having some problems. The first service man took a look at the system, but said that he couldn't fix the box, we would have to replace it, and that I would need to hire the more expensive 2-man crew to fix the low pressure issue on the front zone. He left without having done much actual work to our system. At this point I was rather unhappy with the whole experience, so I called the company to voice my concern. At this point I talked with a more seasoned professional (I'm not sure whether it was the owner), who apologized for the inconveniences, and came out the next day to tune up my system. While he was unable to fully fix the zone in front, he adjusted the heads and nozzle patterns, as well as the zone start times and watering durations, so that our yard is getting sufficient water. His prompt reply and fixing our issues turned around my initially very negative opinion of the company. I am not gong to give them rave reviews, but they deserve kudos for 'making it right'.

I was a little disappointed, The day they came was very cold and I do not think we got the coverage that we should have. We had mentioned some spots that we thought needed adjustment and he did not look at them. He spent more time trying to sell us new sprinkler heads. I think the pricing is fair. They responded right away and were there when they said they would be.

James came to do the sprinkler turn on and discovered a leak so he made an appt to come back and do the repair which he did in a very professional manner. He was great to work with and after the repair he checked the system and we are all ready to go for the summer. I would highly recommend Keeson

I called up Keesen Lawn Services to setup a time for them to look at and replace a broken valve. First off, they were charging almost $100 just to send someone out to give me a quote. Then after they gave me a quote their hourly rate was $80+any parts. This company is way too expensive for me to use again.

The tech was on time and very efficient in completing the work.

The scheduler was knowledgeable about the product and what needed to be done to open the system. The tech was great. He has been in the business for years and really knows his stuff. He took the time to fully inspect the system and help me to understand what he was doing. He made some very good suggestions on how to better manage the system and protect my lawn from the drought.

They arrived on time and checked sprinkler system for any problems. He did a great job of checking everything and setting timers for sprinklers to go off. I was very pleased with his professional manner and thoroughness of checking sprinkler system.

I purchased an Angie's List deal to get a sprinkler system start-up. The sprinkler system on my new house hadn't been shut down properly so as soon as the tech tried to turn on the water, the valve leaked. The repairs were $40 for the new valve and only about $20 for labor because he was able to get it done quickly. They were able to get the tech back out to finish the service only a week later and he got all my sprinklers up and running. Additionally, I had another smaller valve that was leaking and he rebuilt that for me without charging any extra.

The technician called and ask if he could come earlier, as he had a cancellation. That was a wonderful surprise so we agreed. he was professional and did the job well. He found a broken part to the service and showed us exactly what was wrong, gave an estimate to fix it and said it didn't have to be fixed right away. We wanted it fixed ASAP, so he called to see if he had time before his next appt. and checked the truck for the part. Long story short, the system was repaired that day. he was very professional and every one was happy! I would definitely use this company again.

I turned on the water to the sprinkler system, only to discover the copper pipe coming outside from the basement had blown a hole; James replaced the section of pipe right away, then we could proceed to turn on the zones and see what was happening. We discovered one sprinkler cap was missing (so there was a small geyser); he fixed that, then in the back one of the heads had busted from apparently not being properly blown out last fall (someone else did that job). He replaced that head, then marked all the heads that needed adjustment or in many cases, risers to get over the thick lawn. I'm awaiting a call for an estimate on that along with possible drip systems. Overall, great service

All of my dealings with Keesen have been positive. Rich is an extremely knowledgeable tech, and the company provides state-of-the-art equipment to diagnose and repair any problems. For example, they have a tool to find underground leaks in pipes, which means that they can be found quickly, saving homeowners time and money. The tech comes when promised and the company calls with a reminder the day before.

I have used Keesen multiple times and love their work. They are always very resposive and professinal on the telephone and work with me around my schedule - a huge help. The workmen Keesen sends out have always been top-rate and provide excellent service in a timely fashion. They also take the time to explain what is going on and what they are doing. I couldn't ask for better!

Very good communication setting up appointment. Due to anticipated big snow on my day, we re-scheduled for the following week. Called with a reminder the day before, and before coming over. Technician James was very professional, helpful, and friendly. He turned on the system and checked all the sprinklers. The system was in good shape, but he found one sprinkler that was clogged due to roots growing in the sprinkler head, which he cleared out. I asked him about one sprinkler which I tried to previously disable (by turning a screw) but was still leaking, and he recommended a cap to completely block the flow, which he quickly did. The weather turned nasty after a while - cold and rainy - but James soldiered on until all the work was done. He also gave me some very good sprinkler maintenance tips and some lawn maintenance recommendations as well. Overall, very pleased with the service. I used the Angie's List "Big Deal" and so got a very good value.

The did a good job. They even replaced a broken head at no charge. We asked for a quote for additional work and they said someone would have to come out at another time for the quote. We haven't heard back from them and it's been a couple weeks.

It went alright. Scheduling was a little tough, not so sure about the drip system having been gone through, but it went mostly good.

Like I said. They did a great job of out fall shut down. The guy that cam in for our turn on, was here 10 mins for 90$. He didn't even do our sprinkler timer, all he did was turn on the water.

The first thing the serviceman, Rich, found was that one of the feed pipes had ruptured. He was able to repair it during the service call, and proceeded to check out the system and set up a watering schedule. Rich was competent and efficient throughout the call, and charged what we thought was a reasonable price. Subsequently the system has been running efficiently and as programmed.

I was happy with the work by Keesen and will likely use their services again.

We had dry spots in our lawn and could tell it was from improper coverage in the sprinkler system. We replaced the heads ourselves with a few diifferent types but just could not get this resolved. We contacted Keesan through an Angie's List special (this was last summer so just my best guess at the month of service). The young man was very professional and checked our system and looked thoroughly at our lawn. Asside from our initial problem, during his review he noticed an area of low water pressure and informed us in detail what he could do to eleviate the problem and the cost. We had him correct the pressure problem right away and could see a difference immediately. As for the initial problem of dry spots throughout the lawn, he felt our system was absolutely fine but, as suspected the heads just weren't providing the overlap coverage necessary to ensure all is watered thoroughly. He recommended a special head that not only allows for complete crossover coverage but also is lower to the ground causing less waste of water by evaopration (due to wind). We had him change out only the back yard as the heads had to be ordered and were costly but, one week after replacement the difference in our lawn was remarkable. We had him come back to do the front yard as soon as he possibly could. There was a slight mix up in the appointment date and the new heads did not get ordered in time so we did have a delay in getting the front yard completed. He could not have been more appoligetic and genuine in his concern over the mix up and he gave us a few "free" replacement heads which he didn't have to do...just one more example of good customer service in this age where that is harder to find. We would recommend Keesen to anyone having a problem they can't get solved....we were very impressed and are very happy with our beautiful lawn!
