KEESEN LAWN SPRINKLER SERVICE, INC.

It was very nice. They were very efficient and they did a good job. They turned it on and found a leak that I did not know I had and they repaired heads that had been broken. They did an excellent job. There were not extra charges. If I did not already have someone else on a semi-permanent basis, I would have used them again. The big deal was a good price. They were prompt and did not diddle dally around. They got out there and got it done. They were here for maybe 1 ½ hours. I cannot tell you anything bad or even less than stellar about them. They were on time. I would use them again. It would depend on what their cost was. I would get an estimate from them. I get the feeling that they might be a little bit pricy.

It was an Angie's List Big Deal that I purchased. It was alright. It took them a couple of weeks to get out here. We weren't too impressed with them. We didn't think he turned the sprinklers on properly because he had them all going at one time rather than going in their zones. For punctuality, I think they were a little late. I don't think we'll use them again.

Scheduling was a hassle but once the guys were here they were great, professional, helpful and thorough. I was so pleased with their service that I decided to get an estimate from them to re-model/extend my sprinkler system.

I had enormous noise coming from the pipe and trembling entire house whenever I turned on sprinkler. Turned out to be that it was caused from choked back-flow at some part of watering pipe. The provider detected this problem at ease and fixed like magic. I was very impressed.

The service provider came by and first looked at my greenhouse sprinklers and made some adjustments. He also looked at my lawn sprinkler system and stated it would make more sense to evaluate changes to it. I’m thinking about re-landscaping and he advised me to wait and call them once I needed him back. He did more as far as the big deal offered and he also gave me good advice. He was a really nice guy and I felt that what he was saying made sense.

Dave was polite, explained his findings, showed up on time, spent an hour carefully checking the system for leaks.

They did a nice job. I don't think they went above and beyond but they did what they were hired to perform. Everything has been working good since they came to do the service.

Keeson was the company that could come out the earliest. We set up the time and date. They were there on time, had the part available, and replaced it, all in 20 minutes. The repair work was well done and the service person was friendly and professional. My only problem is that it cost $189.00 for 20 minutes of work and 1 small part. The part itself was $70.00 and the service call was $120. While I needed the fix as soon as possible, had I known the cost would be that much, I probably would have picked someone else (they won't give you an estimate over the phone). I think way too expensive for the work done.

He did a great job. He was on time,very and quick.

It went good although I'm not necessarily going to use them again. The guy they sent out was great. He gave me a choice and wasn't pushy. His customer service and knowledge really stood out. He really knew what he was doing and was very polite with everything. I[m not going to use them in the future, but that's mainly because of the price.

Sprinkler head was broken, called around to Keesen. They set up an appointment, called the day before to confirm, and then showed up on time earlier today. Employee quickly installed new sprinkler head. When it wasn't shooting right he got another one and replaced it, made sure it worked properly. Easy and painless (15 minutes). Only complaint is price. $100 seemed high for this type of service. Partially my mistake, of course, for not getting an estimate up front. That said, I needed the work done, and they took care of it as painlessly as possible. Also one of the few places I called who could see me in less than two weeks.

It was a bad experience. We have an older system; it is a pin system, not a digital or a clock. He said he knew how to work on this type of sprinkler. He put all the pins in the wrong places so the dates and the times were not correct. The sprinkler was supposed to come on the 13th, and it never did. I called around 3 times. I did have a returned call, but the secretary gave my number to the wrong technician. He did not leave a message. I called back and explained my problem. The right tech finally called and left a message but never set up a return time and I still have had no response after that. Sunday, my husband was able to reset the pins so our sprinkler system would come on the correct days and times. They didn't apologize or try to send somebody out to fix the issue. I would not recommend them.

The keesen sprinkler guy said I have to make a 2 hour appointment( this appointment I waited 2 and a half weeks for). So, I called the company and she had already booked my appointment and it was 2 weeks out.

These folks showed up on time and did the basics as provided on your website as a coupon; there were some extra costs and they seemed reasonable.

Did nothing except tell me that there are more efficient nozzles for my system. Said he would send me an estimate, never did. A waste!!

As mentioned above... They showed up 2 1/2 hours late and we did not have the time to complete the work. I wanted their tune up and plan to purchase replacement heads and other work for additional charge. The gentlemen showed up very late and no phone call. When I did call back to reschedule it got pushed out 2.5 weeks so now its the end of June instead of the end of March. Once the work is performed I'll give an update.

They came out and worked on my system there was some difficulty with scheduling due to weather. There was one of their technicians that didn't seem as knowledgable.

Calling Keesen was the BEST phone call I have made for any kind of home repair work in the seven years I have owned the house. The background: every year I turn the sprinkler system on myself, never any real problems. This year, I tried to do the same thing, but could not get the system started- seemed like there was not enough water pressure for some reason I could not determine. I called the least-expensive sprinkler service in the yellow pages, Metropolitan Sprinkler; they came out the next day, and told me there was not enough water pressure, and it was a city problem. So I called the Denver Water Department. They came out the next morning, checked the pressure, told me that there was no problem with the pressure, but there was a serious problem with the flow, the volume of water running through the pipes, and told me this was due to the galvanized pipe which ran from the meter pit near the city's mid-street water main all the way under my yard into the house, and since galvanized pipe accumulates mineral deposits over time, and since the pipe is 78 years old, these deposits were now significant enough that they were blocking the correct volume of water from flowing through, preventing the sprinkler system, which ran fine the last seven summers, from operating. He showed me an example of old and mineral-deposited galvanized pipe from his truck, and said that this is what was going on underground. Said there was no way to clean it. Said I'd have to have the entire pipe replaced with copper, and it would probably run $15-20,000.000. Then he left. I made this assumption: he's a professional from the City of Denver Water Department, and he knows what he's talking about, and would only offer correct information. He did not suggest any particular plumber. So I called a company which does the kind of excavations Denver said I needed, Rocky Mountain Plumbing. They came out the next morning, looked into the meter pit, and then looked at the other end of the line in my house, and told me that it was not galvanized pipe, but copper. A previous owner had already replaced the pipe, and there was zero chance that there was a water volume problem. Left and charged me nothing. So I called the top-rated sprinkler service on Angie's List, Keesen. They said they were booked two weeks out, but then the secretary went and spoke with a manager after I detailed the problem, and said the manager happened to be in the neighborhood, and asked if it would it be OK if he dropped by in a few minutes. No problem. He came by almost immediately, I showed him everything; he inspected the system, made a very slight adjustment to one of the valves, and in less than a minute, the sprinkler system started working fine as usual. I asked him how much the service fee was and he said not to worry about it, and to call if there ever was a real problem, and he left, and charged me nothing. The sprinklers are working perfectly. I will give all my future business to Keesen, and I emphatically endorse them. Absolutely the best customer service of any company I've had perform work here, ever.

Overall, Ron did a great job finding out what the issue was with my system. It would have been nice if they had the part on the truck instead of having to drive to the hardware store as I was charged for the additiional time. The total cost of the repairs was $277 minus the 10% discount. The receipt said 10% discount was applied but I never saw it taken off the actual bill. Ron was right on time, in fact, he was 10 minutes early so I appreciated that. Like a previous reviewer said, they are not the cheapest but did a good job.

I purchased a Big Deal to have my sprinkler system tuned up. The value for that was exceptional. I had some trouble scheduling with the company to have the work completed and there were a couple of small timing issues on the day of our scheduled service. The office staff is nice until you are unhappy and then their tone changes somewhat (negatively). That said, the gentleman who came to my home was knowledgeable, efficient and professional. He did a terrific job and made up for the couple of little issues I had encountered witht he company prior to his visit. I would purchase the Big Deal again in future years.

Chris came out to look at our house and yard to give an estimate, he was professional and easy to work with. My wife and I felt Keesen would do a great job. He worked with us to get us the system and yard we wanted for a reasonable price. He handled everything like the water permit. His crew came out and did a great job. The sprinkler works great and our yard looks amazing, we are very happy. The system is easy to operate and he even threw in a drip irrigation for around our flowers extra. Keesen is very professional and does a thorough job, uses high quality equipment and has insurance etc... They were not the absolute cheapest bid but for the quality I felt we got good value. Overall, I would recommend Keesen highly.

Excellent service. High priced but that what you pay for quality

I purchased the Angie's list coupon for $75 for the service. However Keeson also installed my sprinkler system in 2009 and has service to each spring and fall ever since. I highly recommend Keeson because they are always professional timely and go above and beyond what I would normally expect them to do. They have been a pleasure to deal with them I would will continue to use them to service my sprinkler system. This company is one of the few companies I have dealt with that has always been an excellent experience.

There was a leak at the pressure reduction valve for the sprinkler system. He said that they could not fix it, which I found strange since they are a sprinkler contractor. We had to get a plumber to fix it.
