John from JD Plumbing was AMAZING. He arrived on time and was able to assess the damage as well as give us some helpful suggestions on other piping issues. He was extremely professional as well as personable and I would hire him again in a heartbeat. He fixed the plumbing issues and our sprinkler system is running as good as new. He also was able to dig up and fix broken pipeline which saved us from future basement leakage and issues in the future. Great Customer Service and Highly Recommended.

I wish I could recommend this company as it started out very promising with the set up of appointment and interaction with customer service people. I feel overcharged for a simple job, tried to discuss with owner and he said nothing to alleviate that feeling. He didn't bother to break down the cost only saying, that's what the job costs and you agreed to it. Here's how it played out: Needed gas line evaluated for a natural gas grill not getting hot enough...Weber recommended this. Plumber felt gas pressure wasn't the issue but he'd evaluate it for $99. I agreed. Before evaluation started plumber realized I had the grill hooked up wrong and that was more likely the issue. Wanted to charge me $300 to hook it up properly. I said no, I would just take grill back. He dropped price to $200 plus trip fee of 25$. I agreed, thinking the fix was more complicated than replacing the part I incorrectly used with a reducing coupler (small connector). He did also bent the gas line down so as not to stick out so far from the wall. The whole time to hook up my grill? 20 mins. One small connector, one elbow and a little pipe dope. Not the complicated job I was under the impression it was going to be. Breakdown of time 10 min eval 20 min work 10 min price look up out in the truck (really?) 5 min paperwork When I contacted the owner I explained that I felt uncomfortable with pricing, rather than explain how they come up with price, he started with, "You accepted the price, that's the price." No breakdown, no retort to my question of a $400 labor fee. He could have explained pricing breakdown better to help me feel less taken advantage of and maybe this would have been a positive review rather than a negative one. "The price is the price" doesn't help me.

It was as pleasant of an experience as possible. I would definitely use this company again and will recommend them highly.

I called this company at pm on 5:45 on Friday night No answer. waited for a call back on Saturday, no go. still waiting on Sunday. What a waste of time. Will not call this company again. Just happy my basement was not flooding!!!:

It went great. I originally scheduled the appointment to move a water line but my ceiling started dripping water. I called them back and they were able to move me to an earlier date. Bill was very informative and completed the job quickly. Would definitely hire them again.

This guy does it all. He was fast(showed up earlier than scheduled time), did everything on our list and more. Very fair pricing and will definitely will use again.

Super happy with JD's Plumbing. My downstairs neighbor complained of a leak. Within 2 hours JD's arrived, diagnosed, and fixed the problem. Friendly and professional. They turned a bad day into a better day

I needed to get someone out to my house fairly quickly and JD's was able to accommodate. Perhaps that's why to cost was so high. However, considering that both walls were exposed and it took the tech two hours to perform the work, the cost was much, much more than I expected. He first told me that his pricing book said it would be $1600. But, he was able to price it as general plumbing and get it down to $1280. When all was said and done, the final cost was $1079. Maybe I am naive to plumbing costs, but I believe a reasonable charge should have been in the $600-$700 range.

I was worked in the same day I called. John S was a little late for the appt window I was given, but he made up for it in professionalism and integrity. Nice guy and he did everything quickly. The price was right so I didn't need to get more estimates. I'll call them again.

Bill spent a considerable amount of time, checking to make sure all of the plumbing issues were taken care of and answered all of my questions - even giving me tips on care of plumbing. While there was some confusion regarding use of their voucher, I was happy with the work and would use them again.

By the time he got there, the pipes had thawed. When I asked my wife how much the service call cost, she said NOTHING. John is the epitome of why and quot;shop localand quot; is a great idea -- he provides great customer service you just can't get from the big chains. Several years ago, John installed a new toilet in our house. I wish we had used him to replace our first toilet -- the toilet John installed cost half as much and works just as well as the more pricey counterpart. Also, on our frozen pipes issue, he said he would be at our house at 6 p.m., but would try go there earlier if he could. He ended up coming at 12:15. When was the last time THAT happened to you?

John and Bill came to our home to clean out several drains. I have worked with many contractors in the past and have to say these gentlemen were some of the most punctual and professional individuals I have ever worked with. The work was done for less than the quoted dollar amount and they provided valuable information for future prevention. We will certainly be using them again for any future plumbing needs!

HIGHLY recommend JD's! I had just listed my house for sale when my hot water heater broke and started spewing water, less than 24 hours before the open house. I was frantically calling plumbers and couldn't find any that could come out the same day (they were all booked 3-4 days out)! John called me right back and was very understanding of my situation. He managed to get someone out to my house in no time flat and get my water heater replaced. John was upfront about the pricing (which was very competitive) and he even explained the warranty to me. It's never fun when you have to call a plumber, but John's professionalism and responsiveness gave me peace of mind and kept a broken old water heater from ruining my open house. I'll definitely call JD's the next time I need any plumbing work done.

John and John were great. They thoroughly explained things to me during the consultation which helped me make informed decisions. They were responsive, courteous, and helpful. The job was done quickly and they double checked before permanent changes were made.

I was very pleased with the work done. At first we weren't sure if my house had a drain clean-out. I've only been here a year and found that a previous owner, who was a real do-it=yourselfer, had done a lot of things that are not up to code and created a lot of problems. John, JD's owner, got into the crawl space in the basement and discovered that the previous homeowner had dry walled over the drain clean-out when finishing the basement. John removed the wood panelling and cut a whole in the drywall to access the drain clean-out, which saved me over $200, since he did not need to install a drain clean-out. I really appreciated that John took the time to investigate, leading to the discovery of the walled over drain clean-out. While he was there I also had him take care of a toilet that was having trouble; John had that fixed in no time. It's worked great ever since.

I was very happy with the work performed by JD's Plumbing. They took the time to understand what I was trying to fix, and took time to quote me on the services needed to get the job done right. Clear communications and friendly service made the experience positive. I will be calling them back when I need more work done on my house.

EXTREMELY EXPENSIVE. I was charged $276 dollars for the just the valve changes and they wanted to charge me $500 for my garbage disposal and $100 install. I allowed them to change my valves and nothing else. They still may need to come back out to fix the cold water as it continues to run when shutting it off now.

Tony provided excellent service and the front office provided outstanding communication throughout the process.

When he came out, what we wanted them to come out and look at, they didn't really do anything. There was a leak in the toilet and he thought it splashed out of a tank. It still leaked a little bit afterwards but it seemed like it solved itself. There was a part he has to replace. I thought the price was pretty steep. It was kind of expensive for what he did. They're pretty much on time. The price seemed shocking to me.

Called JD’s to find out why our basement was flooding. Tony came by with an hour and upon inspection recommended a sump pump to eliminate future flooding in our basement. A week later he (and a helper) came back and did the install. It took about 7 hours, and was a lot of hard work. He even cleared out a clogged drain for free. He refunded the initial visit and completed the work at the estimated price.

In summary, JD's plumbing is professional, efficient, courteous, helpful, and fulfilled their contract at the estimated cost. John provided an initial evaluation of the plumbing issues and an estimate of the cost to remove and replace the drains to solve the problems. His estimate was fair and competitive with another plumbing service with a reasonable down time for loss of use of the house plumbing. He also planned to provide the earliest date possible to coincide with our schedule. John and Tony arrived on the scheduled date on time and completed the work expeditiously with minimum impact on the household. Their work was efficient and care was taken to maintain cleanliness of the area while working on old sewer lines inside the house while protecting floors and carpet. I will definitely call them for future work and recommend them to my friends.

Tony arrived on time, estimated the cost, and completed the work promptly. The cost was higher than anticipated. I chose to have all the work done to avoid multiple service calls.

These guys actually answer the phone!! I have had so many terrible experiences with Plumbing companies that do not respond or overcharge, I am so glad to have found JD's. They sent a technician out within 45 minutes of my call. Jimmy was a total pro and a really nice guy. The cost was very reasonable. I will definitely recommend JD's to everyone I know. Thanks again!
