They did a real good job. I would use this company again.

Promptly showed up and gave me an estimate when I called, and did a great job removing the trees and stumps about 10 days later. Didn't leave a mess in the yard. Very happy with results. Only criticism was they didn't tell me when they were coming, and did the work while I was out of town. It was a bit of a surprise when I returned, but the work was well done and affordable. I would certainly recommend them, and would use them again.

These guys were good, very prompt and professional. The only thing I could see is that it was a bit more than I had expected but, considering the amount of work, it was only slightly high.

I left a message during office hours and no one called back. I called again the next day and was told they don't service Morrison - even though they clearly state they do the 'entire area' on their Angie's List page. I tried understand and all he would say was we do Morrison Nov - Feb. I asked why and he said he was too busy the rest of the year. He seemed very rushed and unable to suggest a backup company. He did thank me for calling. Overall, I was very disappointed in the first impression. It is misleading to say 'entire area' if a company doesn't service the entire area.

We needed a dead aspen tree in our small backyard removed. They came and did the bid within a few days and left the paper for me on my door. When they took out the tree, which is in a small flower garden, they didn't hurt any of the plants and bushes that were just starting to grow that lived at the base of the tree. There was no mess, I couldn't tell anyone had been there other than the tree was gone.

The beginning of June I called for an estimate. I had to leave a message. A couple of days later, I still did not hear from them so I called again and left another message. This time the call was returned and on 6/2/2009 Brian came out to see what I needed done. He gave me an estimate on the spot. It was the best price I received. He said the work can be done in approximately 2 weeks. Mike and his crew came out on 6/16/2009 and removed the 4 large clumps of Aspen, the 1 Newport plum tree and then ground out all the stumps. They filled the holes with top soil I provided and cleaned up everything when done. They were on time, polite and worked hard. I would easily recommend them to my neighbors. We had a tree that was growing through the power lines into our house and I contacted J&J about removing and notified them of the power lines. When the man came out to look at and provide an estimate he stated that excel energy would charge $200 to cut power to the house and that it would be off for several hours possibly the entire day. He stated that they could take it down without the power being turned off to save us money. We agreed and they showed up two days later and took the tree down in about 30 minutes and hauled away everything we didn't want (my husband kept some of the wood for firewood). They did an excellent job navigating the hot tub on one side, fence on the other and the power lines.

I was promised the company would arrive between 7:30 - 8:00 AM. They arrived at 7:38 and worked tirelessly until 11:30. They did a very professional and complete job on carefully trimming the very large tree. When they completed the job they carefully cleaned up the whole area including blowing the sidewalks clean. Highly recommend!

I called this company because they had previously done satisfactory tree trimming for two other homeowners on our block. (This was before I joined Angie's List, which has more referrals). First, the company set up an appointment for an estimator to come look at the tree work to be done. The estimator arrived promptly. He was familiar with the species of tree and shrubs, and knew what type of trimming was feasible. For example, on the Ash tree, he recommended cutting it further than the minimum I thought needed, but that was his recommendation to avoid future problems with the roof and also to do the cutting at a fork or branching point (I'm not sure what the technical term is for that). Got a written estimate. The work was scheduled for the next week. The work crew arrived promptly, along with all the equipment they needed. They worked quickly, but professionally. Did a complete clean-up; left no messy branches or leaves. They had brought along a device that ground up thin branches. I wasn't left with the issue of how to dispose of the trimmings. Unfortunately, I didn't think to ask for the thick pieces of wood to use as firewood until too late, as they were driving away.

No problems what-so-ever. Very satisfied.

I called, they quoted the next day, then came out and did the work, left the bill for me and the tree looked wonderful! They said to call them if I didn't like it.

They were excellent. They came when they were supposed to come, they came and picked up all of their mess, and their pricing was reasonable.

It went very well. The city required me to remove these trees claiming they were hollow and a hazard. I called J&J and they were at my home the next day to provide a bid. I decided to go with them based on so many positive reviews on this site. About 10 days later they called me to say they'd be at my home the next day to do the work. They sent a crew of 3 with all required equipment including a large truck with lift. They confirmed which trees to remove. I watched them start then went to work. When I got home, everything was done, cleaned up, stumps ground down completely. The 2 other tress were nicely pruned. Very complete, professional job.

They came and gave a free estimate in a very timely manner. Informed us that we needed to wait for the tree to go dormant for the winter and gave the most reasonable estimate. When I called to order the service, the man I spoke to was very helpful, and offered to mail the bill to me so that I would not have to be present. The work was done within several days, no problems were encountered and the crew cleaned up completely.

Good experience--they responded very quickly to my emergency phone call, arrived exactly as scheduled, did the job and cleaned up thoroughly. I did not get competing bids so I can't say how inexpensive they were, but I have a feeling the price was quite fair.

They did great work. They are very hard working and make sure everything is done correctly. They cleaned up well after the job was done. I was pleased with their service and would recommend them.

The job required a large cherry picker except it would not work in the back yard so they sent men up in the trees with trimming tools. They were extremely professional, prompt, and friendly. They cleaned up very well and had a substantially lower price than other companies. They did a great job.

THEY DO WHAT THEY SAY THEY ARE GOING TO DO, ARE CAREFUL, CLEAN, THEY ARRIVE ON TIME, THEIR PRICES ARE REASONABLE, AND I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THEM.

My call was returned promptly and an estimate was given just a couple of days later. The price was over $200 less than another company. The crew was here at 8:00 a.m. that weekend and did a super job. Clean up was great. My husband was here when they left and gave them a check for the job. I wasn't aware that he had paid and I sent a check in a few days later. I was called by the company and told that we had paid twice and they were destroying my check. How about that for honesty! I would definitely use them again. They are exceptional!

Making an appointment was harder than I would have expected. They don't seem to operate out of an office, so it took a few cycles through the process to finally get a time scheduled. The workers arrived first thing in the morning (like 7 AM) and finished promptly. I was happy with the results.

John Hetzel was the contact name for company. John sent a company employee to do an estimate, first. Both John and estimator were very detailed and clear and excellent to work with.

Came out to estimate within a few days, left estimate on door. Came out to do the service within the next week (faster than I thought and faster than they normally do).
