Made time for us at the end of a busy day, which was greatly appreciated. Very quick, friendly and value priced. A few weeks later, after a leak developed due to a faulty part, he came out and fixed it for free within a couple of hours and we were back in business. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS SERVICE!

Mike of Hire-A-Hubby exceeded every expectation I had. Having done handyman tasks for many years, he can do ANYthing & do it well. I could set my clock by his arrivals & he cleaned up spotlessly after each task. He's a perfectionist and his standard of workmanship is always a '10'. He performed some extra tasks that he just happen to notice needed doing for no charge. Mike is now my 'go-to-guy' ANYtime I need something done in or to my house. He is an absolute professional at what he does.

We got several estimates on our remodel and Mike was by far the most reasonable. The estimate was in writing. Mike was very responsive by both e-mail and phone. He did all the work himself. We had no reservations about him being in our home alone. The project took an extra week (3 instead of 2) due to unforseen complications (rotted subfloor). I was worried about additional cost, but Mike assured me that we were paying for the project - not the time. The quality of his work is excellent. His attention to detail fantastic. We couldn't be more pleased with the finished product. We would definitely recommend him for a bathroom remodel, and plan on working with him on our kitchen in the future!

He replaced the garbage disposal which had a hole in it. Put in a new sink and a new faucet. Whatever problems came up, he had the tools to take care of it. My new sink was too big for the countertop, so he had his jigsaw and cut the countertop so it fit perfectly. He came on time. Cleaned up all the messes. Everything works great.

Mike was an excellent contractor. He was both professional and personal. We interviewed three contractors (all highly rated from Angie's list) and before we had even hired him, he was helping us find better pricing on our cabinets. He was the only contractor of the three who did that. He was also very detail oriented and noticed the difference in texture on the walls between the kitchen and and dining room, which was very subtle. He also took pictures of our kitchen before the remodel. Neither of the other contractors did that--nor did they notice the wall texture. Mike was super customer service oriented. He was patient with all of our changes to plans and his only comment when we changed our minds three times on placement of some cabinets was a friendly, "I just want to make sure you get what you want." He showed up when he said he would (8:00 or 8:30 every morning) and stayed all day; was respectful of our living space (cleaned up after himself every night). His promise to me was that I would not be without a kitchen for more than 24 hours during the entire 3 weeks of remodel--and he made good on that. He gave accurate estimates of time to completion and cost. He was very vigilant about making sure he got our kitchen completed on time, as he knew we wanted it done before the holidays. He finished 3 days early. Finally, Mike was a wonderful person to work with. He was friendly and personable. He loved our cats and expressed genuine concern that they were upset with the noise of the remodel. I always find it hard to have people working in my home, and three week project is a long time. However, I would have Mike back any time. He was so easy to work with, so genial, and so truly invested in doing a good job. He wanted our kitchen to be perfect as much as we did, and he made it that way. An added bonus is he did all the electrical and plumbing work by himself, saving us the hassle of having extra sub-contractors in the house. We LOVE our new kitchen, as do all our friends and family who have seen it. We really enojoyed working with Mike and highly recommend him to anyone doing a remodel. He's one of the best!

I received a favorable estimate within a week after requesting it. Work started on time. Mike ran into some surprises such as a sprinker system but handled it well. The shed was built exactly to specifications and in a timely manner. Mike obviously know what he was doing.

Mike is great to work with. Very punctual and the estimates always match the final bill. He doesn't mind doing additional work in the middle of the job. Keeps in touch during the job to let you know of any problems/additional costs and updates on the work in progress. Likes dogs too! We'll be calling him for any future work we that is needed.

Mike was phenomenal. They both look fantastic. He did the job on time (even stopping to help us with two leaks we discovered elsewhere in the house), he was neat, and very pleasant to work with. We would hire him again in a heartbeat.

Everything looks great, and exceeded expectations. Mike was great about providing advice on things I was considering, and he also was open to me adding a few extra things after the fact like hanging pictures. I am very grateful for his help, as three other people had flaked out on me and did not bother to call back or show up for appointments. He was always on time and did what he said he would do.

My bathroom sink was backed up and leaking (beyond the liquid plumber). He came and had to replace my P trap and snake out the pipe. He was quick and CLEAN... I was so pleased.

It could not have gone better. I had a number of things I needed done, he responded promptly and with fair estimates. Arrived as scheduled, went right to work and was highly professional.

Mike is superb. Absolutely scrupulous. Anybody nervous about investing so much money with a contractor can rest easy that it will be well spent. Example of his awesomeness: On the first day, he accidentally dropped a shower head and chipped the hall bathroom tub, which we had hoped to relocate and reuse. No biggie; anybody can drop something; I figured he'd patch the chip. Instead, he bought us a new tub. Time: Six weeks. The only days Mike missed were when he and his wife were in training to become foster parents (!) so we sure can't fault him there. He did all the work himself. Price: We paid about $13,200 to Mike for labor and necessary parts like pipes, drywall and the like within this figure. The "discretionary" stuff... Like the tub, vanity, etc. we picked out ourselves. We had two bids; they were within $200 of each other, so we think we got a good price. I did have to bug Mike a couple times to send us his bid, but when it at last arrived it was the one we wanted.

Mike seemed to want to help out, but he was too busy and never called me.

I said I wanted to hire him, and he has never gotten back in touch with me. He said he was going to start last week and he never showed up or called.

Mike is someone that I would love to have for any future jobs I might have.

My initial meeting with Mike was very favorable and he seemed capable and professional. I was told I would have an estimate within a few days, but it ended up being two weeks later. Scheduling the work was never accomplished and after approx. a month I finally gave up and hired someone else.

Mike is very personable. He put up with my dogs. He did an excellent job in a timely manner.

MY BATHROOM HAD ONLY BEEN REMODELED 3 MONTHS BEFORE AND ALREADY THE TILE WAS FALLING OFF. I HAD THE GUY COME AND FIX IT ONCE AND IT STILL WAS NOT RIGHT. MIKE CAME OVER AND DID A BEAUTIFUL JOB REPLACING THE TILE.

I HAD A WONDERFUL EXPERIENCE! THE WORK WAS DONE THE SAME DAY & AT A TIME THAT WAS CONVENIENT TO MY FAMILY. WE HAVEN'T HAD ANY MORE PROBLEMS WITH OUR SINK SINCE THE WORK WAS DONE.

SUPER JOB, VERY PROFESSIONAL, MADE SURE EVERYTHING WAS DONE CORRECTLY AND TO OUR LIKING. HAULED OFF OLD TILE AND DRYWALL AND WAS VERY CLEAN AND ORDERLY WHEN DOING IT.

VERY PROFESSIONAL WORK! THE MATERIALS WERE A LITTLE LONG IN COMING, BUT THAT WAS THE FAULT OF THE COMPANY WE ORDERED FROM AND NOT MIKE'S. HIS WORK WAS EFFICIENT AND HE TOOK THE TIME TO EDUCATE MY WIFE AND ME ABOUT THE PROCESS OF REMODELING. WE WILL DEFINITELY USE HIS SERVICES AGAIN!

ALL OF THE WORK WAS DONE IN A TIMELY FASHION & MIKE HAD SEVERAL IDEAS THAT HELPED ME DECIDE THINGS IN AREAS WHERE I WASN'T QUITE SURE WHAT I WANTED. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND HIS WORK & I HAVE REFERRED HIM TO SEVERAL OTHER PEOPLE.

MIKE IS VERY PRECISE AT HIS BUSINESS. THE WALL WAS DONE TO OUR SPECIFICATION & THEN SOME. THE WALL BROUGHT ON EXTRA COMPLICATIONS & MIKE WAS EFFICIENT IN TAKING CARE OF ALL THAT NEEDED TO BE DONE TO FINISH MY PROJECT. I WILL CONTACT HIM FOR FUTURE PROJECTS.
