They came out quick, showed up when they said they would, and handled the job quickly. They trimmed a 100 year old cotton wood tree. They came out with a cherry picker and did the job quickly.

Received a call within 24 hours of puchasing the discount coupon to arrange for an estimate. The person performing the estimate was on time, pleasant, and very helpful as I wasn't sure whether to trim or remove the Maple. He provided an estimate of when the services would be performed and I received a call within the week that they would be out the following Monday. The 2 men worked for about 6 hours, trimming the upper branches with a and quot;cherry pickerand quot; as the trees were well over 20 feet to 50 feet high. They then cut the trunks in sections and fed the branches and smaller trunk pieces into a chipper which they brought. The larger trunk pieces were loaded into the truck and the areas were completely cleaned up, raked, and power blown sidewalks. I would definitely use DLC again, especially since I have another LARGE maple that will need trimming. The estimater was also kind enough to discuss possible replacement trees and suggested a local nursery.

It was an Angie's List Big Deal that I purchased. It went great. They came really fast and were professional. They were really good and it was a very clean job. I paid additional because I had more work but I still got the discount. They came out and gave me suggestions on things I should do and I picked out some of those. I spent an additional $200. Overall it was a good deal and a good experience. They did things really fast and clean and professional, which I appreciated. They were very polite. They had good communication and had enough knowledge. The price was great and it was a good deal. They explained to me what needed to be done and how they did it.

We talked about the Big Deal, to get a man there, went through the price. He came out and told us that the tree needed to go, went through everything, and it was a very fair deal so I went with him and that's why I went to buy that second Deal because I have a tree that needed to be trimmed. To be honest with you, I almost forgot that I bought that coupon and I need to call them and have them schedule out for that.

They were good. It went well; they came and did what they were going to and did it well. I would recommend them to other people.

The communication was not very good. The first appointment was delayed but I understand that these things happen. Jason was very personable and professional during the initial consultation. I received the proposal in a timely manner. It took me a few days to approve it, since it was such a large amount. The same day (11/11/2013), that I approved the bid, I received this email ?Thanks, Dan. Jason or I will contact you when you are within a week of being scheduled.? After this, I did not hear back from them until (1/15/2014) the day before they wanted to come out to do the work, two and a half months after the approval. They were here for almost the entire day and luckily I can work from home and didn?t need to go anywhere. They did a great job in the back yard taking out the large Juniper and several volunteer trees, on the side yard bush and the large tree in the front yard. There were a few small branches that they had cut that fell over the course of a couple of weeks but I guess that is to be expected. They did a great job on cleaning up after themselves. I didn?t think in advance of my elderly neighbors as the noise was quite loud when they were chipping the branches. Just a tip for those who are going to get a lot of work done. The thorny bush in front of my house they did a decent job although, I would have preferred a more severe cut-back. This is a troublesome bush and I get a lot of scars when doing the work myself. By the time they came to get me to review the work, it was late and they had already cleaned up. I am not sure that I would recommend them in the future. It appears that because they offer the coupon so often, that they are overwhelmed with work.

It was perfect! They came when they said they would be here and did exactly what they said they would. They took out three dead Aspen trees in about 20 minutes. I couldn't have asked for more!

That turned out great and they did exactly what they quoted. We had them trim a large tree and they took two small apple trees too. They were quick to respond and their cleanup was great.

They came and went and left no mess behind! I'll have them back this spring to prune my large trees.

That turned out great. They came out in August and they cut down a tree for us. 3 aborist came out and it took them about 6 hours. They had awesome cleanup. They were very professional and courteous too.

It took a while to get the work done. Scheduling was a little hard and there was a lot of weather issues that caused that. They did come out a couple weeks ago and they did both tree trimming and tree removal for us. They removed a juniper bush in the back yard and then trimmed about 6 trees. They came out and brought a crew with them. They cleaned up well and left the back yard better than what it was before. They did exactly what we wanted them do to. They showed us what they did after the job and asked if we had any questions before they left.

That service went really well. They trimmed about 3 trees and removed 2 separate stumps. They were efficient and friendly. A crew of 2 came out and worked a couple of hours.

It was good. After I contacted them, it took a while for them to come to actually do the trimming. He did it but it didn’t come out quite like I had expected it was going to but it looks nice. Where it has been cut, it had turned brown but I don’t know what that means, whether it’s just temporary or it will come back in the spring. I really don’t know the final outcome of having the trees done. I like the fact that it was a $250 service but because of the $105 coupon from Angie’s List, I got it for a discount. I only had to pay $50 more, that was the only difference. If it wasn’t for the coupon, I would have thought the service was a little pricey especially after what I did get. The cut wasn’t what I expected but they’re saying they couldn’t have done it any other way.

They came when they said they would and performed the work while I was not home. The bushes were gone and the willow was thinned out as discussed. They cleaned up after them selves. I would use them in the future.

We had several companies out to give us estimates on removing one very large tree that was practically on top of the house, trim up another large tree that had a significant amount of dead limbs, along with removing several overgrown juniper bushes. DLC's estimate was not the highest nor the lowest, but after talking with Jason, we felt most comfortable going with DLC. The tree against the house was a beast, and some of the companies weren't sure they could even get it down and DLC talked us through the process and I felt comfortable they could do it safely without destroying the house! They were running about 6 weeks out from date of acceptance of the bid, but that wasn't a problem for us - nothing was an emergency. We received a call to confirm the business day before, but were warned they may not be able to make it due to pending inclement weather. Sure enough, Colorado weather prevailed, and on the day service was to be performed it was snowing. They called promptly to reschedule and were out on the next available good weather day. The crew showed up promptly and were professional and polite. We snuck by to have a look at the progress mid-day and the crew were all in appropriate safety gear, which made me pleased to have gone with DLC - glad they do things the right way. They made quick work of the project and did an amazing job cleaning up. They even took away some debris unrelated to their work. All in I was very pleased with the service and wouldn't hesitate to recommend their services or use them again.

Long lead time for scheduling. I purchased the Angie's deal in September and requested the work at that time. There was no rush, I let them schedule it. They performed part of my work (deep root) within 2 weeks. The tree trimming and tree removal, however did not occur until December. I called back several times to make sure they did not forget me. Very professional when they work was done. I will use them again.

I called them and they were able to come out within a day or so of my call. The service was fine. I would recommend their service and use them again.

They came on time, performed the work quickly and cleaned up really well. They even took down the bird feeders that were hanging in the crabapple tree and put them back when they were finished. I have other trees that need work and I will use this company again!

Estimate was prompt and helpful, and service was scheduled well in advance owing to a backlog of work. Trees were trimmed beautifully, and a great deal of dead wood and debris was removed without a problem. It all worked extremely smoothly.

The crew showed up around 10:00 and immediately got to work. They worked quickly, cleaned as they went along, and finished the project within about 4-5 hours. The area where the tree was removed looks great! The cost for services was lower than the quotes I received from several other companies and I am highly satisfied with the quality of work provided. I will definitely use this company again for any future tree service.

This company gets the ultimate fail of the decade! I contacted them to have a small clump of dead aspen trees removed. DLC Arbor Services quoted me $350 which was absurdly high. I got another company out to my house to give me a quote (TreeMaxx) and they quoted only $125 to perform the same work. I paid TreeMaxx to get the trees removed. Everything was fine until I came home a month later and DLC Arbor Services had taken a BEAUTIFUL forty-foot, healthy aspen tree from the front of my house. (not the dead trees on the side of the house.) However, I never authorized them to come onto my property to do the work because their price for such a small job was absurd. TreeMaxx took the trees down in about 10 to 15 minutes ? what DLC Arbor was quoting $350 for. DLC left a bill in my mailbox, so I know exactly who took my beautiful aspen tree. After calling DLS they promised me they would fix the issue. I have been on top of them every few months since this happened, but they fail to get back or fix the issue. More than a few times they promised to work with me, but just kept coming up short on delivering on their promise. At least the person I have been working with (Jason K) is not able to get things to happen. I am now in the process of looking into what it takes to take them to small claims courts. Unfortunately this whole fiasco has cost me about 40 hours of my time and an insane amount of frustration. It?s a shame. DLC Arbor Services gets 10,000 failures from me for the following: 1.) Their prices were 2.8 times higher than the competition 2.) In my case they came onto my property and perform work without a work order. (Is this trespassing?) 3.) They then take out the wrong tree ? which is a perfectly living tree. 4.) They can?t make good on a promise of replacing the tree they stole from my yard. After numerous attempts to say they will make good, they just prove to be incompetent. 5.) They kept telling me they would stop sending me bills for $350, but I kept getting bills to pay them for months. Maybe 10 bills in total! 6.) After more than a year I am now forced to waste my time taking them to small claims. Be warned. Stay away from this company! I did not find a single good trait in them during my ordeal. And I am a very easy going person.

I was not present for the entire job and this caused some problems. Despite what I thought were clear instructions, there was confusion regarding what was to be trimmed and whether or not I asked for a stump to be ground. The service coordinator never seemed to have the job estimate with him when I called him to clarify some issues, so there was a bit of he said/he said going on. I think these guys are pretty good, but you have to be present to monitor their work.
