Fully trimmed tree/storm damage pruning

Took a little while to get a return call. But after that went very well. Told me it would be at least 6 weeks because they were so busy with all the tree damage everywhere. I agreed to that. Arrived pretty much on time. Could not believe what they could accomplish with a ladder, long handled pruner and a chainsaw. Started right away and knew exactly what they were doing. Listened to me with a few requests which was refreshing. These trees were 25 feet high and all across the back fence line. Really pruned back from neighbors fence. Cleaned up EVERYTHING. Not a leaf or branch left in the yard. Put everything in the wood chipper. Swept off sidewalk. Took about 1 &1/2 hours. I was very happy and would definitely recommend them and will use gain when needed.

Pruned and brought under control 5 huge Chokecherry Trees.

I contacted DLC Arbor Services LLC to get a bid on pruning all the trees around our home on 09/08/2015. During such conversation I was assured that a representative from such company would come out to our home the following week and provide a bid for the requested work. During this initial telephone conversation I informed the representative that we needed the work performed between 10/06/2015 - 10/18/2015 due to the fact that the painting of the exterior of our home is scheduled to start on 10/19/2015. The representative for DLC Arbor Services LLC insured me that if we book by 09/18/2015 that they could meet the indicated time frame to complete the work. I received a call on 09/16/2015 from another representative providing me notification that a bid would not be provided since the work could not be performed before the middle of December 2015. It is hard to believe that the indicated availability to perform the work in the requested time frame had changed within the span of a week. It appears that the front office of DLC Arbor Services LLC has no clue to the current production schedule. Also, why did it take a week to provide such notification. I contacted this company based on the large number of "A" reviews they have received from past customers and was looking forward to using them. I would possibly use them in the future if the situation is different next time. I provided a "D" rating since this company at least called me to notify me of their production backlog, I will be providing an "F" rating for another AngiesList provided company since they promised to provide an estimate the same week of 09/14/2015, but never did such nor never returned multiple phone calls.

It went well. My only complaint was that it took months for them to come and do the work. They said they would contact me in July to do the work, but they didn't, so I contacted them. We finally got it done in August. They did a good job.

They were very informative. Like the tree that we trimmed had a kind of disease and they told me how to check for it on the other trees and what to do when we see it. They were very professional. They came out, did the service and cleaned everything up. When they came out, they didn't actually know that the tree had this disease. The tree looks a little bald now but I've been told it will grow in nice when the spring comes.

Excellent from start to finish. Jason came out in September to quote on the job. Very personal and professional young man. He represents the company very well. Their lead time was long, but worth the wait. The crew, headed by Ken, (assisted by Brendan and Chris and one other young man - sorry don't have his name) showed up yesterday right on time. It was amazing to watch them work as they trimmed the ash and removed the cottonwood. They know what they are doing and they are very efficient. They finished the job today. Everything was completed exactly as they promised. The trimmed tree looks great, and the diseased cottonwood is gone. They cleaned up every bit of the mess and left the entire yard in good shape. The truck which was scheduled to pick up the large pieces of wood wasn't able to come by today, but Ken said he would come back in the morning to pick it up. (Just wish I would have gotten home in time to have them save the mulch from the stump grinding - so if you use them for that service, and use mulch, make sure you keep the mulch.) I would definitely use them again. Have recommended them to neighbors and will advise the HOA to list them in our newsletter as preferred neighborhood contractors. They deserve their high rating with Angies List.

Weather caused a slight delay. Their crew arrived and was able to handle the work in a reasonabl e amount of time. They cleaned up well after the work was done. They hauled away all the debris.

They were great! It took awhile for the crew to come out. I believe I had to wait 8 weeks from the time I received the bid. But they told me up front they had appointments already booked out that far in advance. When they came out, they were able to get 1/2 of my trees done before lightening and rain began. Even though they had several appointments the next day and frankly the whole week, the crew manager said that he'd come out that Saturday to finish the job. And bright and early Saturday morning, he arrived to finish the job. The trees looked amazing! I'm keeping their number for when I need work done in the future.

It went really well from the communication to the job. Clean up was very thoroughand they left nothing. I was very pleased. I would recommend them highly.

It went very well. I don’t think they trimmed one of the trees back far enough. They came back one other time.

The work was done in a very professional manner. The workers were courteous and respectful. Whenever a sprinkler ordrip line was cut they were up front about it and identified it openly. We were not aware as to the locations of these lines.The equipment used was quite impressive and several neighbors indicated interest in contacting DLC for work on theirproperties.

They got us on the schedule a few weeks sooner than what they thought they could, which was a nice surprise. The 2-person team did a great job of pruning both trees and removing the debris while avoiding stepping on other plants in the area. Both trees look great.

DCL did an excellent job! Spent 2 1/2 hours working on the tree, cleaned up the mess after, to the point I had absolutely no clean up to do. The tree looks much better and healthier! I have 2 trees in the back yard that I am going to have them come back and prune. I highly recommend!

DLC responded promptly to my email request for an estimate--several other tree companies completely ignored me. Jason came to the house within a couple of days, arrived on time, and provided the estimate. The work was scheduled about a month in advance. The crew of two arrived on time, took down the trees very efficiently, and cleaned up thoroughly afterwards, They were very friendly and very professional. They even discovered a sprinkler line as they were grinding the stumps and amazingly managed not to damage it. I highly recommend the stump grinding service--it's as if the trees were never there, and will make planting new ones very easy.

I called DLC to chip up some large branches that had broken during a spring snowstorm. I had already removed all the branches and placed them in the street. I was told the crew was going to be in the area on a certain day, and then given an estimated cost of $75 for 1 hour of labor.When the crew arrived, they worked quickly to complete the work. They were very professional and polite, and completely cleaned the entire area. The work took them no more than 20 minutes. I know, because I was home the entire time. When the crew was finished, I asked them if I should write them a check. One of the workers said he didn't know what to charge since they had completed the work so quickly, and that I would be billed.A couple of days later, I received a bill for $145. Over the next 2 weeks, I emailed and called the office multiple times to discuss the bill since it was double what I was quoted. I never received a call nor email in return.Today, I finally received a return phone call. I requested a quick review of the bill since the work had taken no more than 20 minutes. After some internal discussions, I was told that I was being charged for one hour of and quot;travel timeand quot;, and one of of labor since the workers reported they were at my home for 55 minutes.1. At no time was I told there was a charge for and quot;travel timeand quot;. Rather, I was told they were already going to be in the area.2. Their workers were certainly not here for 55 minutes.3. DLC quoted me $75, and charged me $145.4. Nobody returned my multiple calls and emails about the bill for 2 weeks.It's not about the $145 - it's about treating your customers honestly and fairly. In this case, DLC did neither. I do not recommend them, and I will not use them again.

Scheduling was fine and they were professional and friendly.

It went well. They did everything they were supposed to. We got some extra stuff done. It was crazy weather and extra hot there working. They were very thorough. We walked through and they educated me about my trees. They told me what we had and took care of what they were supposed to take care. They cleaned up and everything was left just fine.

They did charge extra because there were more trees that needed to be cut. They were good. They did a nice job trimming trees. I think they were reasonable for what they did. They did provide a description in terms of what was left and it was negotiated. I think they were right in line with everybody else but I haven’t done a whole lot of shopping. I had one or 2 bids.

It went really well. They did an excellent job. They came in at the quote and it was excellent. They were the least expensive. I saved about $700 or $800. I've already recommended them to neighbors.

It was fine but it took awhile because of the schedule and we had done the sod work right underneath the trees, so it took a while before he came out. They actually did a great job.
