I decided to proceed since hadn't been cleaned in at least 12 yrs. Paid by check but never received a service agreement document. As far as I know, a satisfactory job was done.

They were quick, clean, polite, and on time. I couldn't ask for anything else.

They called me after the holiday (I purchased the deal on Labor day weekend). They were able to come on the day I needed them to even though it was within a day or two. They were on time and still called to let me know exactly when they would be arriving. They were very efficient and quick and I was very impressed. I would definitely use them again.

Josh Montrose, my contact & chimney sweep, called to let me know that he was in the area & was able to provide the chimney sweep eary on the scheduled day. Upon arrival, Josh went right to work with an associate. Both were on-the-spot. They were polite & professional. They covered the surrounding area of my fireplace with protective gear & went to work. Within 45 minutes, all was complete. I do have a simple chimney with a metal insert, making the job quick. The job was completed very quickly, quicker than my expectations, comprehensively & without issue. They checked the screening around the exhaust of the chimney, that keep animals out, and stated that it was in good order. I was impressed that an 'upsale' wasn't offered or that screen maintenance wasn't pushed. Overall, I highly recommend Complete Chimney Cleaning. This was a very pleasant experience compared to other chimney companies. They came out when they said they would and kept in touch. Cost was reasonable, only did what was needed, and were honest and thorough.

Did a great job with no mess. Service was performed pretty quick like. A repair patch was also done to the back wall of the fireplace for a fair price. Was happy with service overall.

He called a couple times prior to the appointment and showed up on time. We just bought the house, and so we wanted to make sure the chimney was OK before we used it. He inspected and said we didn't need it cleaned. He suggested a chimney cap, and we went ahead and had him install it. He was very professional and honest (he could have told us it needed cleaning and we wouldn't have known it didn't). It was a great experience and we plan on using him in the future.

Spencer communicated frequently about when he would arrive, even with a snow delay. He showed up on time, was friendly and quick, and got the job done in less than an hour. He kept the area clean and left no trace of soot. I would highly recommend them.

It was easy to schedule this appointment, even though this is an extremely busy time of year for chimney sweeps. The scheduling persons were very pleasant to work with, as well as the service personnel. The service person was prompt, professional, worked quickly and protected the carpet and interior so that none of the dirt entered the home. Did a GREAT job! It was an Angie's List Big Deal that I purchased. It worked out extremely well. They were very nice, very clean and very prompt young men. I would certainly recommend them. The price was wonderful.

They called the day prior to give me a window of 9-11am the following morning for a chimney cleaning deal I purchased through Angie's List for $99.50. Three gentleman showed up around 9:45am and got right to work. One guy cleaned the chimney from the living room and the other got up on the roof and brushed from the top. The third gentleman walked me through the overall condition of my chimney and gave me advice on upkeep and some minor fixes that needed to be performed. We had just purchased the home a few months prior and the chimney was extremely dirty, so they were able to inform me that there had been a small chimney fire previously and that the current grate being used was causing some damage to the bottom of the firebox due to the small leg supports. Overall they did a great job and I was extremely impressed with their knowledge of chimneys, as well as their very thorough cleanup afterwards. There was no mess left behind. They were done by 10:15am. I will be using this company for future cleanings and repair work.

Josh from Complete came out originally August 17th and was unable to clean the chimney has I had an insert that was very old and out of date. Josh said they didn't make them anymore and recommended I have it removed. He showed me where the legs were on the unit and charged me $50 for the service call. I asked if they would credit the $50 toward the cleaning once the insert was removed. I removed the insert and setup a second appointment. Josh came back yesterday and true to his word cleaned the chimney and charged me just $49.50, or just the difference of the $99.50 cleaning and inspection charge. I had another company booked that I found on the internet, but they never showed up. That is what prompted me to use Angies list. I also then used a sprinkler service that I received on Angies list as well and that great as well. I am sold on both Complete Chimney Cleaning and Angie's List.

Spencer arrived on time, was friendly, and performed the requested services. He also covered up the work area and cleaned up when he finished with the chimney.

They were all right. They did a good job. He could have done a better job containing the dust and cleaning up. He did not leave a mess. My husband was not totally pleased with the work. The price was the reasonable. He was here on time. I would not use him again.

It went really well. They were quick but professional. They made sure cover the flooring so they wouldnt get dirty. They were very accomodating with our schedule.

We had had a fire in our chimney a few weeks before the service. They confirmed that no damage had been done structurally and that the chimney was clean. They completely cleaned the fireplace.

rick and his son were prompt, courteous, and professional. they inspected the chimney, (with rick explaining to me along the way what they were looking for) and then told me it did not need cleaning, thereby saving me $50. he also described in detail the different types of caps they carried and didn't try to upsell me just for money's sake. turns out the cap shape we needed was not on their truck, but he came back and installed it the next day. rick even gave me some advice on building fires, as we've never owned a home with a wood-burning fireplace before. great experience, great company, nice guys.

Called the night before the confirm the time. Arrived on time. Took care to protect my carpeting from any soot. Very quick and efficient.

I purchased a chimney sweep via angie's list. They email back saying it costs $20 more for Boulder. I email back saying to just refund me. Then he says he can do it if they're already in Boulder. Ok fine. Next week they come and the guy says there's not enough room to do the work. I have hardwood stairs stacked (only 16" high) about 3.5 feet from the fireplace. The hearth is also about 16" high. I'm confused why there isn't enough room. Anyway, I offer to move it but I can't do it myself. He says his back is sore. So I tell him I guess he can't do it. BTW, this is all a friendly exchange -- no one is losing their temper. Then my tile contractor must have heard the exchange and offers to help me move the wood. He proceeds to do the cleaning (about 30 minutes of work). In short, it's not their job to move hardwood floors. I get that. But they should tell you how much clearance they need beforehand or be prepared to leave if they don't and they're an obstacle. I can't imagine what happens if there's a heavy couch in the way. Also they might want to work on their customer service -- the guy was not friendly. Personally I don't need someone to smile, be chipper and make small talk, but this would be good for their business.

They were great: very communicative and helpful in scheduling the appointment. When they arrived they worked quickly and cleanly and were able to answer all of my questions. They fixed the issues we had with the chimneys and were on they're way. It was great!

Professional, safe, and no indoor air quality problems or dust. Friently service - seemed very dedicated to helping his customer over the long-run. We enjoyed doing business with them. Due to the additional work and cleaning, I offered (with no leading whatsoever by Mr. Montrose) an additional $20 due to the very high buildup of tough-to-clean creosote that, I'm sure, extended their "roof time". (Note to other stove owners: due to the ability to control combustion air in the stove, it is very easy and tempting to prolong wood burn time by running a very low fire. This greatly increases creosote buildup. Our stove is ~5 years old and Mr. Montrose said that creosote had almost completely occluded the top of the flue pipe.)
