Description of Work: I contracted Champion to roof over my back patio deck on 03 Sep 2014 and 07 Nov 2014 they completed the task. I really like the roof and the job that was done; the only issues were the unfortunate loss of an old honeysuckle bush that was in the way of digging caissons to support the roof, the price seemed a little high even with a discount, and the job itself was delayed over a month what was estimated to be the start time.

The crew was excellent, punctual, professional, experienced and SKILLED. I couldn't be happier with the job they did. I waited for years to get new windows. I would hire them again in an instant. I will give them the highest rating possible. |

Description of Work: We ordered double glass entry doors for home. The wait was too long, the product had gaps in both doors at seams where metal met in corners that you could see thru at the tops and bottoms of door. Waited for a second door and it had same issues. Third time worked as they 'fixed' the door by putting caulking on the edges that did not meet. We still have two gaps at bottoms of door that we'll need to address before winter. Other issue was we asked for low e value glass. When arrived, each door had a haze that we didn't expect. They explained it came that way. It would have been nice to know that in advance. Given all the issues, we decided not to 'deal' with the haze. The people we dealt with overall were pleasant but we had to call them for status more often then they called us status. The overall transaction from start to finish was 6 months. I would expect more for my money and time than what we ended up with. I cannot recommend them.

Description of Work: I bought a house that had Champion windows upstairs. Two of the windows were bad, but they did not honor the warranty because I was not the original owner. Lots of mix ups on the appointments. I later had them do the basement windows. I was not pleased with the experience and would not have them work for me again.

Description of Work: I have used both Anderson Renewal and Champion. I replaced my upstairs windows a year ago and when I needed to replace my basement windows this year, I hired Champion because Anderson Renewal does not replace basement windows. I signed up for a consultations at the Denver Home Show and the response was quick. If I had to compare the two companies I would go with Anderson, because the price didn't seem too different and the quality of Anderson is better (feel and look) when compared side by side. Also, Champion felt like a mass production operation and Anderson felt personal after the initial sales pitch was over. But having said that, the Champion Windows look great and the service was great. Both companies had high pressure salesmen and this is always painfully annoying and a BIG turn off, so that is why I give professionalism a C. I would buy the windows again but refuse to work with the same salesperson. Killed me to give him a commission when I had already sold myself before the appointment.Id was simply suffering through the pitch trying not to tell him how unprofessional he was being. The Champion guy was visibly "sizing me up" as a potential sale ( looking around my house, asking if my husband was home, talking 200 miles an hour, etc..) and basically suggesting he wasn't going to talk to me and give me his full time if my "husband wasn't home." He then proceeded to put down my Anderson Windows in front of us. Tacky! I knew he wouldn't install the windows himself and I wouldn't see him again, so I looked past that and moved through the process. I just wanted my windows. My message to Champion is get rid of your creepy salesmen who think they can decide who is going to buy or not and then thinks he can pick and choose how to talk to customers. All of your potential customers deserve respect. I like the windows, loved the quick service, and the warranty is impressive too. If you going upstairs use Renewal and if you are doing basement windows choose Champion. I would use them again but request that I not have to listen to your sales rep. thank you!

Description of Work: They replaced all the windows in my home. The installation crew workers extremely hard and got all the windows in, in record time. They could not have done it faster. They knew what they were doing. This wasn't a rush job for them, but hard workers who knew what to do and just went after the job. The house has never been sealed so well. Looks good, feels good, just can't say enough about Champion, start to finish.
