The inspector arrived promptly. He was courteous and thorough. He carefully explained what he was doing and gave us a thorough verbal report when he was finished. We also received a complete written report. His report was helpful and we were very pleased with his work.

They should have done a site inspection before the date of installation but I was told it wasn't necessary. It was necessary because an electrical outlet needed to be installed. They had to come back the following week.

In performing our home inspection, Axium missed a number of expensive problems that should have been readily caught. I was not there in person to perform the inspection with them, because if I were even I could have caught these issues. Water leaks are the biggest problem. A rotted out drain pipe under the bathroom sink was completely missed. Ceiling stains indicated another leak when we were buying the home but the owner said he fixed it and Axium signed off on it. It only took running the tub to the drain pipe to find the leak is persisting, something Axium should have readily caught.Bad electrical outlets only require a plug in device to detect, yet these were also not caught. A bad AC condensation pump was also missed. The shed was wired for lighting, yet the lights don't work. Axium did not inspect the shed at all.Would not recommend this company to anyone.

I am 100% PLEASED with this service! The inspector, Jerry Payne, was on time, friendly, worked quickly and efficiently, and was very patient with my questions. He took lots of pictures, and took the time to go through each and every one of them with me. He not only noted warranty issues important to the builder, but also pointed out things that I, as the homeowner, may need to be aware of. Without the inspector's help, I would never have noticed quite a few of the issues he brought to my attention. I would highly recommend this company and their services to anyone who needs a home inspected. For a new home owner, this is cheap insurance regarding your warranty.

Charlie and Wade from Axium were terrific to work with. Very thorough reports. Each inspector identified structural problems with the homes being inspected, as well as lots of small issues that will land on my husband's "To Do" list on the home we are buying. Wade helped us avoid making a bad home investment. Charlie helped us better understand local roofs, including colors and materials, and was very knowledgeable about the weather conditions over time in the area and the impact on the roofs.

Very professional and through service, taking time to explain issues they saw and responding quickly with the results via a detailed report. Of note it was a strong snow day but was on time and took time to make sure the work was done properly. Due to there discovery, we also have engaged them for additonal testing services. They are there to support and represent the buyer.

Very professional and comprehensive home inspection company. I would use them again. The report was very detailed and sent within a day of the inspection. The inspector noted numerous issues with the home and was able to call another colleague to the property to give a second opinion on the stucco. They took water samples and flow tested the water well - this was well worth the cost of testing since there were coliform present. The homeowner then fixed this issue. Also did radon testing and septic line scope testing - Axium reccomended another company for the septic line scope - again a minor issue was noted that the homeowner repaired

I was very impressed with houw thourough the inspector was and at how detailed his report was (pictures included in the report). This made things very easy on going back to the seller for repairs and is going to make a great honey do list for my husband for the minor repairs! Great job and a fair price.

Wade was 10 minutes late, but called shortly after the time he was due to let us know he'd be there soon. I was skeptical when he arrived wearing white pants and a polo shirt (not what I'd wear if I had to crawl in attics and crawl-spaces), but right from the start he was professional and helpful. He took extensive photographs of each area that needed work (lots of them) and explained what he was looking for every step of the way, and when it came time to go into the crawlspace the white pants didn't stop him. His report was very thorough, with all the pictures he'd taken and a brief explanation of what the picture showed and why. The report documented everything, but didn't overemphasize the importance of little things (door tight in jam), or under-emphasize the importance of big things (extensive leaking drain lines). Wade was friendly and helpful throughout, and happily gave his personal overall assessment of the house when asked.
