Our Electrician Derek did an excellent job, very professional, left the area looking better then when he started. I have no problems using Derk and Applewood for any of my electrical needs. These craftsman are licensed and great to work with.

On Christmas day at 4:30 p.m. we noticed that our thermostat was not working as it was displaying a code that indicated it needed service/replacement. We called Applewood at 6:00 a.m. the following morning and by 7:45 a.m. a technician was at our house. We were impressed. Prior to the tech's arrival my 77-year old husband had already gone to Home Depot to purchase a new thermostat and he had begun intalling it when by the time the technician arrived. The technician was so kind as he finished the job and did the set up for us and we were only charged the service call fee of $29.00!! We were so grateful and by 8:30 a.m. we had heat once again. We are extremely happy with Applewood and cannot praise the company enough.

Over all, GREAT experience with Applewood. I have had them check my furnace every year for a few now, and each time, I am impressed. Justin new was he was doing, providing me with all the information I needed, including the one thing that needs work, eventually. He even replaced my furnace filter, which I wasn't expecting! Adam was very helpful. He did a complete check up on my furnace and gave me advice on what would probably need to be done. He didn't use pressure. He explained why I should take certain steps to prevent a possible shut down of my furnace. Adam was professional, knowledgeable and I would certainly have him return to do the work he suggested. I have used Applewood Plumbing, Heating and Electric for several years and find them reliable, friendly, prompt and their cost is reasonable. I will certainly continue to use them for my plumbing, heating and electric needs.

Stefan was excellent and explained everything and detailed all my options for repairing or replacing my water heater. I decided to replace my 18-year-old water heater and Stefan and his apprentice were awesome and the installation was perfect. Highly recommend Applewood Plumbing Heating & Electric and will only use them going forward. My price included a 10-year warrantee and Applewood Membership.

Jeremy with Applewood was amazing. Very professional and knows his trade. Got my furnace up and running in no time. They might not be the cheapest option but they are certainly the most professional. I feel confident that the work he performed was of the highest standard with no corners cut. That’s worth paying for in my mind.

This is the worst company to deal with. I have had this company out 6 times in the past 2 years to address a number of issues with a new boiler system that they installed. One the last visit they determined the issue was something that was outside of warranty and the estimate provided was over $1900. I did my due diligence and had another company come out to look at the issue and they promptly determined it was not what Applewood said was the issue, rather an issue that was directly tied to the new installation of the new system, (specifically the wiring and control board that was installed with the new boiler.) When I called to speak to a manager I was informed that I could not be transferred, but a ticket would be submitted and I would get a call back within 24 hours, (which is actually 3 business days because they define it as "24 business hours".) The call came a couple of days later while I was in a meeting and a phone number was left on my voicemail. I called this number back and got an unnamed voicemail box and left 2 messages, to finally get a call back this afternoon, (after calling into the mainline again.) The person that called was incredibly combative and rude from the start, (starting the call off that she left me a voicemail on Monday, but not acknowledging that I had since left 2 additional voicemails.) To say that this conversation was unproductive would be an understatement. I will acknowledge my tone was not completely upbeat, however my frustration should be understandable. I was interrupted numerous times and chastised about my tone. All I was looking for was to acknowledge the source of frustration and own a resolution. I got neither. So, here I am 2 weeks later with the exact same issue that I called originally on. This experience has only solidified the reputation I have heard of Applewood for years: poor workmanship, terrible customer service and main concern is selling work that is not needed. Needless to say: CALL ANY OTHER COMPANY FOR YOUR WORK

Dewey was VERY professional and was knowledgeable about the subject.

Booked a week before. They showed up late no call no email I had to call to ask If they were coming. Plummer took 15min to replace the pipes then 2hrs later there was 2” of water that leaked onto my brand new vanity. Called was given a time frame the next afternoon. Was told I had to wait 2 business days to speak to someone about their mistake and poor workmanship. Very frustrating as the dispatcher was very passive and clearly didn’t care about my home or the damage caused. Had to miss a flight to stay for them to return to fix their mistake. Then I’ll have to wait 2 days to deal with the damage to my brand new vanity.

Joe Walters was a gods sent to my home. He was personable, he explained my concerns, showed me how to accomplish things I could navigate.

I'll start by saying I've used Applewood in the past and have been happy with the work and customer service but after today I'm not sure how to feel. I had a plumber come out to replace a cracked PVB as I mistakenly didn't get all the water out after shutting off the sprinklers this year. I was quoted $1,938 or $1,445 if I joined their "Gold Service" club of which I am already a member of. Knowing that the price of the part to be replaced was $150 I was a bit shocked and asked for a breakdown of parts and labor. The answer I received was that they price based on the job, not based on parts and labor. Being involved in the service industry in the past I know how jobs are estimated and being refused any more details on how a price was reached confused me. When customer service called afterwards to ask how the job went (I did not pay for the repair and will find a more reputable company or fix it myself) I explained the same pricing concerns I had with them and again received the same answer. So all that said, I have made my decision to no longer use this company since I have been refused any more details on pricing. Since the company wishes to withhold this information I am left to assume that "pricing based on the job" equates to making it up on the spot. I will continue to assume that is the case until proven otherwise. For anyone reading this do as you wish when looking for a trustworthy heating and plumbing company, maybe their response to this review will change my mind but until then I this is where I stand.

This was my first experience using Applewood Plumbing, Heating and Electric. What out a doubt, I will be calling them for any of my needs for the house. The tech Applewood sent was VERY knowledgeable. He diagnosed the problem with my furnace within the first 5 minutes he was here.
