We had a very good experience with Anaya. The work turned out great. They were definitely pleasant to work with. They were priced fairly. They're owned by two brothers. One of the brothers was the superintendent on the job. He was very responsive and on site during the work. He was easy to get along with. It was overall, very good.

d anWe took several bids for this project. The estimator was on punctual and took the time to get a handle on what I was looking for, not just a square footage approach. Received the estimate the next day.
Description of Work: Tore out and replaced cracked and heaved garage floor and part of driveway pad. Filled all areas where the subsoil had settled or where the original concrete base was not adequate and then compacted the entire floor. Poured new floor dowing into the foundation which was not done when the home was first built.

He was really great. He came out, gave me a quote, he spent some time with me teaching me about concrete, super nice guy and he came in on the really high end. I'm still really getting to go with him when my neighbor came over and said that they were getting ready to have some concrete work done and would I like to get a quote with the people they were doing so that we could get a better rate. It turned out it was just a better deal to go with their contractors. He's professional, he took the time to talk to me about concrete and explained things in details.

They did a good job. The owner needs to communicate with the customer better as far as his process and answer questions that the person hiring him might have. I felt it was an imposition to answer our questions. They were anxious to please but as an owner, you have to be open to educating your customer, if the customer asks for it. I looked at a job they did before I hired them. Their price was fair. I would not use them again because I didn't enjoy working with the owner. He made me feel like I shouldn't be asking questions. His attitude was that he was the expert and he would take care of it. He made me feel like they were good enough that I shouldn't be asking questions. He shouldn't assume that the owner doesn't think they knew what they were doing. I feel better when I understand the process. I want the question answered without an attitude coming back at me.

If you are looking to have concrete work done that is comprehensively high in quality from an honest, respectful company, I strongly suggest looking elsewhere. We needed to replace our garage floor, driveway and adjacent walkways, and had several companies out to quote. Jerry from Anaya visited our home and made us feel very comfortable with the work Anaya would do, even explaining how they would creatively lift our air conditioning unit off of the ground so that we wouldn?t have to go through the trouble of having the lines disconnected from it. Based on our comfort with Jerry and his explanation of the job, we made the mistake of selecting Anaya to do the work. With respect to the concrete work itself, Anaya did a very good job. After the concrete work was completed is when things rapidly unraveled. We have several sprinkler heads and, it would follow, sprinkler lines on either side of the driveway that Anaya replaced. As apparently occasionally happens, one of the sprinkler lines was severed while the driveway was being replaced. Anaya repaired the severed line while the crew was still there and told us that everything was good to go. That same evening, I decided to double-check the sprinkler system and found water pooling near one sprinkler head and two other damaged sprinkler heads. Anaya had earlier in the day told me that everything was fixed, so I was dubious about their ability to properly diagnose problems with the sprinkler. This was communicated to the owner, Priscilliano, whose initial response was that they can?t be responsible for things underground that they can?t see (notwithstanding that a layout of the sprinkler system was available, but never requested). Once we got past the preposterousness of his initial statement, Priscilliano agreed to send one of his guys to our house to check the sprinkler and make any necessary repairs. I explained to this person that water was pooling in one spot and that parts of two other sprinkler heads looked to be damaged. His response was that when they damage a sprinkler, they sever the line completely, which is obvious because the entire sprinkler zone loses pressure and the heads don?t come up. Since this was not currently happening with our sprinkler, his view was that there was nothing wrong. Not agreeing with this person from Anaya, we called the sprinkler company and had them come check the system. They did indeed find an additional leak, where it appeared that the line had been hit but not severed, and also repaired two damaged sprinkler heads. Before we had the sprinkler company come to our house, we informed Anaya that we were doing this because we didn?t trust Anaya?s ability to detect and repair issues with our sprinkler system (without tearing up our entire yard to do so). Anaya objected to this, saying that they were entitled to repair any damages. I do agree that Anaya should be able to repair the damages themselves ? the problem arises when they are not adequately able to assess the damage. To sum things up, our sprinkler company charged us $229 to do the repair work. We communicated this to Anaya and offered them the opportunity to do what?s right. What we received was more egregious than anticipated, which was a $29 check and an invoice charging us $200 for the work they did to raise our air conditioning unit off the ground. This work was, of course, discussed as part of the initial quote from Jerry with no mention of any extra charge and was just a convenient and embarrassing way for Anaya to absolve itself of any responsibility. If the owner of Anaya responds to this comment by saying anything to the contrary related to lifting the air conditioner, it is simply a continuation of his dishonest behavior. There are many companies in the Denver area capable of doing good concrete work. They truly good ones set themselves apart with their service and the way they treat their customers.

Jerry Norris came out and estimated the job. He ran some concerns by his boss and came back out to look it over again. The patio is about 7 years old and we had never had it re-sealed. Actually we were real disappointed with the patio because it was a lousy job and it cracked right away (it was put in by a different company.) There was one pretty large crack and a lot of others of varying sizes. Jerry used a sanded caulk to fill the cracks and spent a lot of time on them, even some very small ones. It's ideal if you can find a caulk that exactly matches your concrete color but if you can't, a shade lighter is better than going darker. A fairly wide crack looks black so fill it with something light and it will not be as noticeable. After the cracks were filled Jerry applied some clear silicone over the top of them for extra protection. He sprayed a coat of Super Diamond Clear sealer on the patio, which is about 400 sq. feet, and on a sidewalk that goes around the side of the house--about 50 feet long. He added a little color and some shark grip, which is an anti-slip additive, to the sealer. The shark grip is like a very fine powder that is not noticeable and does not dull the sealer but it really does keep you from slipping on a wet patio. The sealer dries with more of a satin finish than a high-gloss finish and that is what we wanted. He also put some clear silicone caulk between the house and the patio to keep the water from getting in. Jerry came out one more time to check the job and we noticed some areas that seemed a little dull because some of the more weathered areas of the patio absorbed the sealer more. He came out again on a Saturday and brushed those areas and gave me the left over sealer so I could apply more if I needed to after everything dried. I was really pleased with the amount of time Jerry spent on this job. He is a real professional and he will not blow off any of your concerns--just a super nice guy to deal with. We actually like our patio again and will plan to get it resealed every year or two. The one bad thing, which was my fault, was applying the sealer in the fall when the leaves are falling. We have a locust tree right next to the sidewalk and a lot of small leaves fell on the wet sealer. You can get them out but it would just be better to plan the job when the day is not going to be too hot and when the leaves are not falling.

The work was excellent and on time. The first estimator read my address incorrectly and was a no show. After that ,Prisciliano Anaya the owner, performed the estimates. He listened to our requirement and politely made suggestions. He and his staff worked very hard and long to accomplish all of the work in a week. Amazing. Very happy with the results.

A salesman came out within a couple of days of talking to him on the phone. Even though I told him it was a big driveway he did not bring the right measuring device out to measure it but I was not in a big hurry to do the job anyway. I also did not know if I wanted concrete or asphalt. He came out again later to measure and give me an estimate. I think the estimates were around $26,000 for asphalt and $28,000 for concrete. We decided later to increase the size of the driveway and continue with the concrete edging but use asphalt. They were on time and very polite The owner was on site most of the time. The work was done when we had all that rain and floods in Colorado so work on my driveway got held up for a few days. I was very pleased with the outcome. They were very neat and clean. I highly recommend Anaya Concrete!! .
Description of Work: We have a huge driveway. The house sits far back on a 1 1/2 acre lot. There is a horse shoe drive in front and then the driveway goes back a long way to a 4 car garage. We had a brick driveway that Anaya Concrete Dug up and hauled away. They made the driveway bigger in the area near the garage. In that same area they put concrete so the asphalt would butt up against it and have a neat edge to it.

It was a pleasure to work with the estimator from ANAYA and then with Prisciliano Anaya on the actual job. Priscilliano was very helpful and gave us very important advice as we made decisions on stamp size and color. He brought the truck of concrete with no color to ensure that my back step matched the uncolored concrete next to it and then had the bags of color (desert tan) added to the truck and mixed on site for our driveway and front porch. ANAYA had a large crew on the job and they did excellent work. The old drive installed by Genesee homes did not have any rebar to support it and thus it had settled and cracked over the years. ANAYA installed a grid work of metal bars tied to the concrete slab foundation of our garage to ensure the new driveway would remain at the same level and not drop down in the future. When the work was done, a worker from a foundation company came and spent 4 hours meticulously sealing everything. We found the whole experience to be excellent.

Everything went very well. No promises made that weren't kept. I am very happy with the job, as it presented a few challenges. I needed proper drainage for the area, needed the crew to "steer-away" from a previously installed french drain system and needed an "as close to possible" color match to the previously installed stamped concrete patio. The colors and the patterns work very well together; quite complimentary. Didn't want the job to look like an after-thought. It looks like it was intentionally planned. The estimator was prompt and informative. He aided in the color selection and the pattern. I had a few change-orders that added to the original cost; quite understandable and acceptable. No surprises there. The crew was courteous and on-time. My neighbor commented as well on how pleasant they were.

The estimator showed up a bit early and provided a very thorough estimate which included the additional costs which might be incurred if the existing concrete proved to be in even worse shape than was apparent prior to demolition. I got several bids on this project, and chose Anaya based upon their reputation and the total cost. I did get several low estimates which included just repairing the existing concrete, but am happy that I decided to replace the entire porch. The project began as scheduled, and as soon as they began the demolition it became apparent that the original concrete was indeed in worse shape than anticipated, it also did not contain any sort of reinforcing materials (i.e. rebar) of any kind. Fortunately the cost of doing an entire replacement was already in the contract, so the work proceeded based upon those numbers. The day they were scheduled to pour the concrete a major storm was headed towards Denver, but upon my insistence they hustled to complete the pour just prior to it's arrival. They were able to cover the porch with plastic, preventing the new concrete from becoming damaged by days of heavy rain. As a reward for moving so fast I bought the entire crew a lunch of big Chipotle burritos. The concrete was nicely finished, and I am very happy with the quality of the work performed at the price. I also hired this company to build a set of matching iron railings for another set of steps, and they did an excellent job building and installing them.

Exceptional Contractor! I'm a commercial construction Superintendent by profession and cold called Anaya to provided me with an estimate for work I needed done at my home. From start to finish Anaya was attentive to my needs and professional. They listened to what I wanted and assisted in exploring other avenues which would yield the same structural integrity and aesthetic appearance for a much lower cost. The end result is I have a 250+ sq. ft. raised front porch that is durable and attractive in appearance. I will also add that I had concerns about the small amount of concrete left behind by the craftsman once the forms had been removed and the project completed. I place a call to the owner on Saturday and he visited me on Sunday to address my concerns. Monday morning the few miscellaneous items I voiced concerns over had been resolved. Anaya is a company I would highly recommend to anyone searching for a quality concrete contractor. I will without hesitation will utilize their services again in the future. Dave in Weld County

I liked that they give you the estimate right there, they will quote your price on site and they followed that with a formal bid or a formal process. So you get the quote and a day after you also receive a line of item estimates of the quote. They were quite knowledgeable; I liked that they were willing to discuss various options they provided me with. They were punctual in terms of when they showed up and did the estimates.

Very pleased with initial contact and estimating (quoting) process. I had a problem with the patio and needed help deciding how to correct it. Jerry had really good insight regarding my problem. I really felt he was trying to help me solve the problem in the most economical way. The first day the crew was unsupervised. Thier work was below standard in my judgement. The day of the pour, Jerry was there early. He took control, having the crew correct some of the prior work and he supervised the remaining work. Overall I ended with an excellent job. They also did an excellent job with the cleanup.
