Anaya Concrete

In perpetration for our wedding that was being hosted at our house, we decided to have a patio and sidewalk put in for the ceremony. Having struggled with another contracting company for over a month, and ending that work when they violated contract, we were feeling the pressure of the upcoming events. We called Anaya concrete in hopes that they could help us save our wedding. The owner was very understanding, and came the next day to see the project area. He told us how busy he was, and that it would probably be a week before he could work on it, but that, no matter what, he would help us. The very next day he completed the job perfectly. He and his men had to redo everything the other company had done, which was a huge amount of work. Through the day, their level of professionalism impressed us. They were polite, efficient, and had a high quality of work. We will absolutely higher this outstanding company whenever we need concrete. Thanks again!

I could not be more happy with "Anaya Concrete's" excellent work, their professionalism as well as their promptness, they cleaned up after themselves and left the area to include the driveway, sidewalk and gutter just as they found it. In short they did a fantastic job. Over the entire process they kept in contact with me, with regard to what, when and how much to ensure that we were all on the same page. If I have other concrete replacement to do or new additions of concrete (and I do) I will definitely have them perform the work as well as refer them to my friends. I picked these gentlement because of the good reviews on Angie's site. Not only did they tear out and replace steps but also put in rebar (tied to the foundation) as well as set two casons for more support under the large step. They even fixed the drain area on the small step where as other contractors said they could not do. In the end it is really not about the money spent (although their bid was comparable to others I received) it is about customer service and quality and this company certainly provided both in my case.

Priscilliano Anaya was very responsive and prompt in meeting me to give me an estimate. He discussed the positives and negatives of concrete versus pavement and his concrete bid came in fairly close to a bid I received from an asphalt pavement contractor (which is usually cheaper). The crew graded the space and canted it so that it drains well away from the building. They called me to discuss a tree removal that was on the original estimate to ensure that I still wanted to remove it (I decided to preserve the tree -- and they gave me a discount). The work was completed on schedule, within weeks of the estimate.

Anaya concrete has provided the best contractor experience I have had to date on my home addition and remodel project in Boulder, CO. The project involved pouring concrete floors for a new basement (12 x 29 feet) and garage (24 x 24 feet). We are do-it-yourselfers, and acting as our own general contractor so finding a good contractor who would do just what we wanted without trying to add work was really hard. Prisciliano, the owner, answered my initial call immediately and scheduled an appointment to come out and see the site. He listened to what we wanted - we would be leveling and prepping the areas (we had to level the soil, add aggregate and then insulation and slab shield material, as well as rebar mesh and pex tubing for our heated floors). He asked a lot of questions and also gave some good advice about prepping this ourselves, rather than saying that we should really have a contractor do this. He calculated the cost of materials and labor based on our plan and gave us an extremely fair quote right away. We scheduled a date with him 3 weeks out as we still had to have the foundation walls poured and prep the site. I had talked to other contractors to get bids as well (Darryl Norris, Premier Foundations, EnviroShapes) but Anaya was by far the lowest bid, with the most professional response.We had some delays with our foundation walls so we had to reschedule - he was very gracious and moved us out two more weeks. On the scheduled pouring day, he arrived at 6 am as promised, inspected our work and he and his team made a few adjustments. The concrete truck arrived at 7am as planned and it literally took them (he had 6 workers with him) an hour and a half to pour and do the inial smoothing of the concrete. They were extremely conscientious, did not make or leave a mess anywhere, and you could see the care each and every one of them took in their job. As an example, one of the guys noticed that we had left the middle of the garage a little high so they ran a string line and then recalculated how to lay the concrete so that we would still have 5 inches in this area. As another example of their thoughtfulness, we had allowed for a slope down from back to front in the garage, but they added a little slope from the side edges inward so that water wouldn't pool along the edges of the garage. After the concrete settled, two of the guys spent another 4 or 5 hours perfecting the surface and adding the seams. It looks absolutely beautiful and perfect already!! I highly recommend using Anaya for your concrete projects. Prisciliano is very professional, smart and respectful and his team does an incredible job. I am going to have them come back to do the apron (driveway) in front of the garage, an walkway around the side, a set of modern concrete steps for the front of the house and the stamped concrete for the back patio.

TA came out and was wonderful in helping me decide on what type of stamped concrete patio to do and what colors to make it. We set a date to have it done, unfortunately, family issues have come up and I had to postpone. I will definitely give them a call back when we are ready!

We were delighted with the professionalism, the timeliness, meeting our request, and the outcome. It looks Great!. We were impressed with the team of workers' coordinated effort to be efficient, their resourcerfulness in tackling an air conditioner in the work area, and providing suggestions to improve the outcome. Priscilianno was a delight to work with, answering all our questions and concerns beforehand. Responsive and cheerful team of workers!

The whole job went fine. I can't believe they were in and out in 2 days.

He was kind, prompt, professional and thorough.

They were very nice and professional. I would absolutely use them when I have concrete work. I do not remember about the retaining wall but for the patio, it was $1300. He came on time, he was very professional and he communicated well but we decided not to do the patio.

Priscilliano is almost like a family member now. He is so honest, personable and skilled, I'll never use anyone else for any concrete needs that I might have. My back yard was looking really bad due to dogs and shade trees that I decided to just put in a large concrete patio to cover the area. When Priscilliano came out to explain what he would do for me, I just couldn't picture how beautiful the final results would be. Not only a fantastic shaped patio, but one that was stamped to look like pieces of flagstone. Of course, I never thought about the path from the side of my house to the patio which the dogs had turned into a mudpath, so I later called Priscilliano to come put in a sidewalk from the side to the patio. He made the sidewalk with three steps (in on a slight hill) and he made it to look exactly like the patio so it all blends together. You'd have to see it to believe it. These guys are the best.....fast, skilled and very receptive to all ideas. I'll only use Priscilliano in the future (perhaps a sidewalk on the side of my house).

Asked for quote. They came out quickly and called with the quote within a day or two. When the decision was made to use them I called and we setup a date for it to be done. Prisciliano called two weeks prior to the agreed date asking if it could be done sooner. I agreed. They showed up on the date bright and early in the morning, worked extremely hard all day on the removal and framing out of the new patio. Came back two days later (my set day), poured the new patio which looks 10 times better than the old one and were done. Their cleanup was such that you can't tell they were here except for a beautiful new patio.

Overall everything went well. The pump they used for the concrete broke, but the guys working on the job used the wheel barrel and still finished everything in a timely and professional manner. If you are going to use tinted concrete, ask them for recommendations on the colors. If we wouldn't have, we would have ended up with pink concrete - not appealing.

After calling around for quotes T.A. was the fastest response, the most willing to work around my scheduale, and was on the lower end of those who responded, much much lower than the highest quote we got. T.A. came to the house twice to work out the specifics of what we were after, and gave some great ideas about how the patio should look. A week later his crew came and in one day tore out the old patio and poured the new one. They did a good job of not messing up any of the backyard besides what they were working on. A few days later they came to power wash the new deck, and then due to rain they came back a few days later, re-washed the deck and applied sealer. I couldn't be happier with the end result. Worth every dollar and then some. They were fast, efficient, and lived up to my expectations. The ideas that T.A. had on the patio really made it look great. He went out of his way to work with me on the budget that I gave him. Additionally worth noting that when there was some mis-communication between himself, myself and his crew on the day of the installation (as there always is going to be ) he really made sure to clear things up RIGHT away and left me feeling really good about choosing his company. Do yourself a favor and don't bother getting another bid. Call T.A. up and have him do the work. He's that good. He came in under budget, on time, and with great results. I am only sorry I forgot to get a quote from him while he was here on re-doing my driveway and front steps.

Both Luis and Priscilliano were wonderful to deal with. They are very professional and they are hard workers. The two crews of workers were impressive as well. The estimate was exactly what I was charged. The job required using wheelbarrows to get the concrete from the truck to the backyard, including up a sloped driveway and across a patch of lawn. I definitely would use them again and recommend this compay to anyone.

Prisciliano and his crew did a beautiful job. We are extremely happy with the result! In addition, he also arranged for tuckpointing of our brick walls-this also came out very well. We highly recommend Anaya Concrete and will definitely use them in the future.

We hired Anaya Concrete to do the job after taking bids from them and 3 other companies. My wife wanted the walkway and steps up to our front door done with the corners all rounded off and the walways and front stoop to have a nice flowing look. We originally planned to have the work done mid-may but Priscilliano called us a couple days after we informed him that the job was his and asked us if we'd like the job done the next day. We agreed and he and his people came in at 7 in the morning and were done with the job at 7 in the evening. Everything was done exactly as promised and the property left completely cleaned up and tidy. I couldn't believe how quickly they got the job done. Everyone who has seen the finished job has raved about how nice it looks. I wouln't hesitate to hire this company again and I'd recommend them highly to anyone. Top quality professional work.

Set up an estimate for March 30th for the work. He called the same day to see if he could come early. He showed up early and gave me the estimate which was more than fair. I called him back on April 11th to schedule the work. He informed me that he was very busy and would call me back with a one day notice to start the job which I agreed to. We agreed to have the job completed within a 2 week time period. To my surprise he called me the next day to see if he could start April 13th. He said he would be here between 7:00am and 7:30am. He showed up at 7:20am with one of his employees and started immediately. The employee performing the work took his time and made sure the work was done correctly. I am more than satisfied with the quality of the work and the entire experience from start to finish. They promptly returned every phone call and they were more than punctual for every appointment. I would definitely use this contractor again and would recommend them to anyone.

Very pleased all the way around. Had used Anaya on previous job so felt comfortable reuseing them. They were prompt, did excellent work, cleaned up well and were careful with my property. They communicated on any questions that arose. They were concerned that I be satisfied with the work done. The price was the third lowest of the four bids I recieved. They also had good suggestions on how to imporve what I wanted to accomplish. Will difinetly use them again on another project. T

We have not had any work done yet because we are gathering estimates. I wanted to give Anaya a review because he is the first company to call back with a professional response and to call back so quickly.

Anaya Concrete removed and replaced a section of concrete adjacent to the driveway and also replaced a damaged section of walkway. In addition, they removed four trees prepped the area and poured a colored concrete along a section of our side yard. They applied a decorative brick-like stamping to the concrete. They arrived on time, worked continuously until completion and the job was done on time and in a professional manner. I thought the cost may have been a bit high but then again I'm not a concrete contractor.
