A Better Plumber

When I need work done whatever it may be I always check Angie's list. In this case I needed a plumber to unclogg some toilets tubs and a shower. I checked numerous company's on Angie's list and I read most if not all of their reviews provided by past customers. I came across Lord and Reiser's plumbing since their were local and read all of their reviews. They were light years ahead of all the other company's that I looked at with regard to work and they were outstanding compared to the others. What struck me most was customers repeatedly use of the words such as "dependable, prompt, honest, excellent work, communicated with the customer and provided explanation as to what was to be done and how" and a price that was reasonable. I called the company in the morning and no one was in so had to leave a voice mail and number. Mr. Resier returned my call that evening, once again I was impressed since it was after his work hours and this says alot about how he treats his customers. Mr. Reiser asked me what I needed and when. Mr. Reiser was kind, patient and respectful and listened to what I had to say regarding my issue with the plumbing. After I provided him with the details of what was wrong he then said that perhaps given what I had described, it appeared to be a draining problem and given his time constraints that he would suggest going with an individual who he has high regard for and does good work and the cost would be much less. He stated that it would save me money for me to go with this person that he recommended. I was very impressed since he could have easily scheduled an appointment for our problem and make the money himself; however since he was more interested in helping me out than overstretching himself he was kind enough to provided me with an alternative. Mr. Reiser gave me the information regarding the company, he also stated that he would contact them and ask them to give me a call, impressive uh? I relied soley on Mr. Reiser's recommendation given his reviews. My wife and I could not have had a more pleasant experience. If you have plumbing issues, I highly recommend Lord and Reiser. If you are still unsure as to the integrity of this company read the reviews.

Short version: Rich Reiser is a top rate professional, whose attitude and knowledge is rated A+. I would use him again. Longer version: We had several issues with our plumbing and water heaters, and Rich came out on a Friday to fix these issues. His part prices were right on line - I checked on the web and he did not overcharge. Professional, courteous, and he even went the extra mile to "teach us" about proper maintenance of our water heater and plumbing system. His appointment was a noon, he showed up 5 minutes early. Very personable. If I ever need plumbing again, Rich is the go to guy I would call. Highly recommend.

We had a leaky tub; a previous plumber had told us we needed to access the problem via the garage, which would have meant drywall demo and would have been a pretty significant deal. Rich was on time (early in fact), identified the issue in about 5-minutes as something relatively minor, and fixed it quickly for a reasonable price. Very happy with Lord and Reiser and will go to Rich with our next project.

Everything went great. Rich fit me into his schedule right away because of the proximity to his next job. Rich was punctual, friendly, and clean. He fixed the sink and stopper (which hadn't worked for years). He relit the pilot light on the water heater and explained why it wasn't lighting when I had tried to do it myself. I will definitely call Lord and Reiser Plumbing again.

The best plumbing experience I have ever had. He was here on time, worked steadily and was very good at what he does. I called on a rainy Monday morning and was able to get Rich out that afternoon. I explained I did not get out until after 3 pm and he was very accommodating with that. He did what I wanted and did what he said he was going to do. I am impressed with his knowledge, ability and positive attitude. For Littleton customers there is no plumber better and at an affordable cost. A++

I called three different Angies List plumbers to get cost estimates. I live in Highlands Ranch. The estimates were fairly close so I chose Lordand Reiser because they showed a Littleton address. When I called to set up a date for the work, Rich, the owner, said he had a cancelation and he could pick up the parts and start the job in about 45 minutes. I said that would be great. He arrived as promised. We went down to the basement and when he saw the set up he said that the job would be easier that he expected because of the layout. He said that would allow him to reduce the overall price of the work. He had the job done in about 30 minutes. He then suggested that he take a look at some appliances to ensure that my high water pressure had not damaged any hoses etc. He found none.He went to his truck to prepare the invoice. When he returned he explained that he had reduced his estimate of basic cost and discounted his service trip fee. The end result was that the total cost was well below the telephone estimate he had given me. I had no reason to question his original estimate which was below the other estimates I had gotten. The price reductions he gave me were voluntary on his part and reflect on his character and honesty. He had no other reason to reduce his price. I had not asked for any discounts. I'm 81 years old and was going to ask for a senior discount, but did not.In summary, Rich Reiser is a talented tradesman, an efficient worker and based on my experience with him I can attest to his honesty and his integrity.I am not expressing any suspect about other plumbers in town. The piping was old and began leaking. I called several plumbers on Angies list, but nobody had time to look at anything, and could not come out for several days. Lord and Reiser had a job that evening, but went out of his way to come by at approximately 7:00, and worked on it for 3 hours. He fixed the issue, put in new piping, and charged what I considered a reasonable rate for the hours worked and time of work. He was obviously busy also, but made the effort to come by late, and perform the job. Friendly service, Good Price, Quality work, and solved our problem same day. I don't know what else you could ask for. Highly recommend.

Rich did a good job installing, etc., This was several months ago, and I believe he installed out sink kit and unclogged the sink and replaced old section of plumbing under the sink. However, on the bathroom sink job, he never told me that the drain plug did not seat properly in the sink (we had purchased the sink kit several months earlier and had ever installed it). The metal rim sits above the level of the bottom of the sink; therefore, the water does not completely drain, and it sits, evaporates and causes buildup of evaporated water and other matter...whatever doesn't drain out. I called him back, told him I was not happy and that he should have told me the fit was not flush with the sink and that it did not drain completely. I wanted him to come back and fix it, but he did not want to or offer to -- I don't remember how the conversation went -- but he did tell me to just get some kind of putty or sealant and use it to build up the area around the metal rim. I hired a professional plumber so I didn't have to do stuff like that. Every time I use that sink upstairs it absolutely aggravates me that I paid him so much for that and other services. All he had to do was let me know the sink I bought wasn't a great fit when he installed it, and we could have figured out a solution on the spot.

Rich Reiser came on time, took out the old water heater, replaced it with a new one, and carted off the old one. He finished the job in a few hours and explained what would be different with the new water heater. Rich is great and I'll call him again whenever I need any plumbing work done.

Not only is Rich a great plumber, but he is also a dog whisperer. We recently adopted a dog who is having a difficult time with strangers and Rich was excellent in calming him down and even getting him to play. The was quick in diagnosing my issues and solving the leak. Outstanding service as usual!

Excellent. Great communication. Showed up on time and thoroughly explained what he would be doing and routinely checked in with me throughout the job. Works perfectly now. Cleaned up after himself as well.

Rich provided a detailed estimate after discussing what we wanted. He recommended an appropriate Bradford White water heater and took a close look at the venting. He discovered a corroded flue that had been an issue for years and in spite of 4 other companies doing estimates, he was the only one who found this issue. He gave us a very reasonable estimate to fix it. He did a terrific job, checking all his work thoroughly and finished the work faster than originally scheduled and under the estimate. Rich Reiser did a great job installing a new Bradford White 40 gal water heater for us under an Angies List deal, and inspecting the plumbing (faucets and toilets) in the entire house! He was very prompt, personable, responsive and professional! We will be replacing some sinks and countertops soon, and will have him do all the plumbing! I highly recommend him to anyone with a need for an excellent plumber at a fair price! He knows what he is doing, and has all the tools and equipment and experience to do things the right way. I was very impressed with his integrity and skill!

On a Sunday evening, we discovered the body of our builders grade disposal unit had developed a hole and was allowing water to collect in the cabinet under the sink. We knew the old unit was starting to fail but had been holding off replacement. We had also been experiencing some drain oder issues with the kitchen sink and decided was best to find a plumber to install a new disposal and check the drain. After purchasing a new disposal on Monday and researching plumbers on Angie's List we decided to contact Lord and Reiser Plumbing to arrange installation. On Tuesday, I called about making an appointment and received a call back from Rich, the owner, within an hour. We discussed what we wanted done and set up an appointment for Friday morning late. Rich indicated he would call approximately 30 minutes before he would arrive. Rich called and arrived as planned and within two hours had installed the new disposal unit plus a new kitchen faucet set we also bought. He also investigated the drain issue which fortunately turned out to me minor. The total charge to install the new disposal, replace two water shut-off valves and install the new kitchen faucet was much less than I had expected. Rich was very professional and explained everything he was doing. He didn't do anything more than was necessary to hook up the new unit. Based on our experience with Rich, we definitely will have him back.

Very personable and friendly man. Called with an approximate arrival time and arrived at stated time. Very neat, very quick, and an excellent repair. Price was very reasonable. I will recommend this company to all of my friends and acquaintances and will use him again when the need arises again.

I absolutely would call Rich Riser again when needing help with plumbing. He communicated well by returning my call within 15 minutes to set an appointment. He called on the day of our appointment and let me know approximately when he would arrive. He was on time and very respectful of the light colored carpeting in my home on a cold and snowy day. He was pleasant as he worked on the bathroom plumbing and very tidy. Not only did he fix the plumbing leaks, he did not create any extra work for me as he left no trash or mess behind - the only way you would know he'd been working in there is that nothing was leaking when he left. His charges were reasonable and less than I expected. Quite a refreshing change from service providers who mail coupons then want to charge exorbitant prices for and quot;additional needed workand quot; (which is not usually 'needed').

They were great. They were very professional. They did the job and they were on time. They were courteous and clean. There were no issues since the service. We didn't have any worries. They were a little bit pricey but they were good so I didn't mind. The quality of service was excellent.

I was very impressed with the work. They installed a new water heater and also moved some of the pipes to allow the door be completely opened. They also installed an emergency water shutoff sensor. The staff was very friendly and i would use them again in the future.

It turned out great. The guy was really nice.
