Rich Reiser was personable, professional, and helpful throughout the process. He came to our home and gave us estimates for installing a water cutoff and pressure regulator in our barn, addressing the exposed pipes in our feed room, and fixing a burst valve in our irrigation system due to faulty draining of the system for the winter. He brought an assistant the next day and worked tirelessly to complete everything on time with minimal disruption to my family. I believe he encountered some unexpected events in the installation of the water cutoff, but was cheerful and informative throughout the process. He was patient with my horses and accomodating to their needs during the what I considered fairly massive excavation of the main line. And he moved a section of my fence to make it more aesthetically pleasing after the excavation! Rich Reiser was prompt, fair, and honest throughout our work. I recommend him highly and will use his service for all plumbing needs in the future.

Having seen other reviews on Angie's List, I decided to give Lord & Reiser a try. I spoke with Rich, he made arrangements to meet on my schedule after my working hours. He was on time, very, very, professional and courteous. He explained what needed to be done, did it quickly and efficiently, and tightened bath fixtures I had installed (but didn't have the proper tools to fully tighten). He did not charge extra for this last item! In addition, when it came time to total up the bill, he even increased the discount he had originally offered me! This is unheard of for a plumber. I expected to pay slightly more than the quote, but it came out to be less than his original quote. To say the least, I was pleasantly surprised. If you need an honest, efficient, GOOD plumber, Rich Reiser is the guy to call.

They came out and did very good work. They handled all of the permits. They had the work done in one day. I have been very pleased with them. They performed excellent quality work. The price was better than I thought it was going to be.

Arrived on time. Went to work. Had to leave briefly for additional materials. Worked steadily throughout the day and completed the job in one day.

We smelled a slight odor of gas on the night before Thanksgiving and called another company out to check on it. Sure enough, we had a gas leak in one of the pipes that runs to our stove. The representative informed us that we would need to call out a plumber to cut and cap off the pipe to remove the leak. We telephoned Rich Reiser of Lord & Reiser on Friday (the day after Thanksgiving) and he took great care of us. He would have come out to work that morning, but had to have a permit from the city first and, although the permit office was closed until Monday, he still submitted the paperwork so that he could come out first thing Monday morning. We also called another company who was rated high on Angie's List and he seemed terribly put out that we were calling the day after Thanksgiving. That company also quoted us up to $300 more than Lord & Reiser. So, we felt very comfortable going with Rich. On Monday, he arrived promptly with paperwork ready and an inspection from the city lined up. He even fixed a few other minor plumbing issues around the house while we waited for the inspector. We cannot say enough kind things about this company. Perhaps the most impressive point is that he drove all the way from Dallas to Southwest Fort Worth to work on our leak, which made us feel very cared for. We will not use another plumber-they were the best!

Since this is a house we got for the kids to live in while attending school, I was a little concerned about not being there when the plumber was there. That's why I checked Angie's List to find one with a good grade. I called, left a message and within a half hour my call was returned and I was given a time the same day when he could be in Denton. Originally, I had planned to meet him, but after describing the problem and talking with him I felt confident he would be able to diagnose and fix the problem. He arrived promptly, fixed the problem, explained what had caused the problem to my son and then took care of another repair that we had not discussed. My son said he was very competent, knowledgeable and professional. My son said, "I mean this in a good way, he seems like a plumbing 'geek' because he really is interested in what he's doing and didn't mind explaining it to me." I would definitely call him again if we needed plumbing repairs.

What's the one thing you want when you call a contractor? Someone competent right? Someone that knows what they're doing and won't make your existing problem worse. And it'd be nice if they didn't charge you an arm and a leg too right? Well, if you want a competent, honest plumber Rich is your guy. Our water supply line to our toilet broke and was leaking and needed to be totally replaced. I called Rich in the morning and he gave me an estimate over the phone and said it would be later in the afternoon before he could come, but he would call approximately 30 minutes before he planned to arrive. He did just that and came right around the time he estimated. He did a superb job, and didn't leave until everything was perfect. Our toilet works perfect for the first time since we've lived in this house. I wish we had found him sooner.
