A Better Plumber

I contacted A Better Sewer, and on the same day, Shawn from A Better Sewer came to take a look at a washer drain line that was clogged. I received text message updates to let me know exactly when he would be coming, and got a 1-hour appointment window (vs. what is usually 3-4 hours). Shawn was extremely punctual (in fact, he had to wait for me, but was completely pleasant about it). He was super friendly and provided great customer service, explaining exactly what he was trying and providing recommendations for next steps. While they couldn't perform the work for the issue that I had, they told me upfront what to expect on pricing and ended up charging a reasonable $50 for the trip and diagnosis. (I've gotten trip charges of $130+, where technicians did much less!)

The tech arrived on time looking very professional. He listened to what I had to say then went to work. After finished my plumbing system runs faster with no back ups. And he left the bathroom clean which pleased my wife. Would I use them again, with out a doubt and I already referred them to my friends.

I just learned while on vacation that my sewer line was clogged and overflowing. I got an immediate response on yelp when I inquired for help and they send a technician out the morning after I came home. Technician (Travis) was really nice and got the job done quickly. He also scoped the line after the jetting was done to make sure the pipe was clean and no other obstacles remained. Throughout the work, he made sure to not cause any messes outside of the work area and everything was nice and clean afterwards.

The technician used both roto-rooting and hydro-jetting to clear the drain. The work was thorough and successful.

I had family in town for the fourth of July and apparently you can overload your sewer system... who would have thought?! And even worse, every sewer company I called was going to charge outrageous fees to help me while I was in need on a holiday! I can't say enough about the service and compassion of the team at A Better Sewer! They were responsive, understanding, and efficient.... but most importantly they were my 'Merica Day life savers!

It was excellent! The thing I liked the most about them was their communication, They texted me and let me know that Travis was on the way. He came right on time and it only took about 15 minutes to do the job.

They are very knowledgeable, friendly, on time, intelligent, they know how to fix the problem and gave us recommendation on how to maintain in the future. They are very professional.

It was awesome, very persistent, they told me what is wrong and tell me how to prevent in getting clogged again. They were very nice.

Wonderful, they were clean, did exactly what they said they were gonna do, and as a bonus they have a cute dog on the side of their truck.

This is the 4th time in 4 years I have used Rich Reiser from Lord & Reiser plumbing, and I would hire him again in a heartbeat. Great attitude, shows up on time, prices are reasonable, and professional work. We have had 20+ things done by Rich and his crew over the 4 service calls (multiple items on each call), and he gets it done. Everything from installing a "challenging" full body shower bar to water filtration systems to pipe repair to new faucets. All good. Very much recommend.

Before their coming out I explained the problem in detail that my kitchen drain was backed up and water was coming up from the floor in the basement. This explanation should have been enough for them to say this was beyond their ability to solve and should have made a plumbing contractor referral. Instead they came out and tried to rotor clear the drain, without success. They then gave me a discount of $20 off the $150 normal fee because they failed to clear the clog. I feel ripped off and would never recommend this vendor to anyone...$130 for no service is a warning to all about this company. Subsequent to this I found a company that would do the same work and video the drain line for $79.

The owner Rich did a small project for us. He finished the project quickly, but was way overpriced. Charged $250 for 30 minutes of work and $12 in parts. Attempted to get him to lower his price, but got a nasty attitude in response. This all occurred after he called two reschedule 2 different times. Would recommend you shop around for other plumbers.

Had a water pressure regulator replaced, I suspected what the problem was ahead of time so when Rich and his coworker showed up, they were ready to go replacing it. They were prepared and had it fixed up quickly! They were in and out in about an hour. No complaints or leaks to speak of.

Rich and his helper showed up right on time. They got to work fixing two sinks, the shower knob and a shutoff valve. They jobs were done quickly and expertly. Both Rich and the helper went back to check each item several times. Rich even fabricated a solution to the shut off valve to keep from having to cut drywall. I cannot say enough good about this company. Be sure if you hire them, you will be satisfied.

I called Rich in a panic. My water heater broke and was flooding my second bedroom. Rich got there quickly even though he had other appointments. By the end of day, I had a new working water heater. I greatly appreciated that he was willing to help me in an emergency and would highly recommend him for all your plumbing needs. He is well worth every penny you will spend but I have found his prices to be quite reasonable.

They fixed the toilet and were able to diagnose the shower problem.

Matt did a very professional job. He arrived on time, diagnosed the issues immediately, and did the repairs and modifications very quickly. I though the price was very reasonable. I would definitely use them again.
