A Better Plumber

Rich Reiser knows Customer Service and proved that from our first phone conversation though our handshake just before he left my home. Rich was very informative while I asked him for his advice and opinion as we discussed my replacement options. He offered me explanations, reasoning and consequences and we came to a sound decision. I am not a professional plumber, however, I am a tech in other areas and can appreciate the attention to detail in his work. He also noticed an issue with the water/sprinkler shutoff valve in my basement and was able to fix the problem with ease. Since he took the time to explain the issue with the valve, I could tell this was not an upsell in any way, rather a Master Plumber who knows his stuff and didn't want to complete the task at hand and leave me with a separate problem that would have surely surfaced later this Fall when I go to prep my system for Winter. Again, with respect to attention to detail, not only was his plumbing artistry clean in form and function, he barely left a work footprint too - both work areas (outside and basement) were left as neat and clean as he found them. Although this vacuum breaker job is my first experience with L&R, I would highly recommend them for any plumbing needs based on my clear satisfaction.

Overall this experience with Rich was wonderful! Rich showed up on time and was ready to get to work. I was home with my sick daughter that day and Rich was very considerate. He explained everything thoroughly and made sure I understood before he left. He cleaned up very well and left out house exactly as he found it, just with a new water heater. We were very pleased with Rich and would use him again AND recommend him to anyone we know who is in need of a plumber

I called to setup an appoitment and explained the issues that I was having with my upstairs toilet. After hearing my explanation I was actually given a solution over the phone verbally that I could perform that fixed my problem. There was no charge, no visit. Their knowledge and willingness to help me saved me the cost of a service call. They are obviously more concerned with helping a potential customer, even if it means they don't get the business directly. If I ever have any issues in the future, I will be directing my business back to them simply because I feel like I can trust them and they are obviously knowledgeable about their trade.ion

Rich did a great job. He showed up early, and quickly made all of the requested repairs. He was willing to use parts that i had purchased earlier, and he had all other necessary parts in his truck, so no costly trips to the supply house. I recognized his competence and professionalism, so I asked him to make some other additional repairs that we had not discussed. He quickly took care of these items as well. I was very pleased with his service and would not hesitate to use him again.

They did a great job, he did what he said what he was going to do. I found them on a recommendations form, they were very responsive.

Rich rearranged his schedule to be able to get to me on Monday morning to resolve a leak at my bathtub that was dripping into a finished room below. He found and fixed the issue, having to replace a punctured pipe, in less than 2 hours. Will definitely call on him again for future plumbing issues.....he was just great!

My water heater started leaking a couple of days ago. I didn't discover it until last night after 9pm. I called Lord & Reiser Plumbing and left a message. They called back right away! Next day, Rich Reiser came out and swapped out the water heater. It was so cleaned up in the basement, it was like the nightmare before had never even happened. He explained everything to me and answered all of my questions. He also explained how replacing a pressure valve on the main could help protect my system for years to come, and installed this in the same visit. This is a very professional and knowledgeable plumber who showed up fast, and communicated his arrival by phone so I could get home from work. Outstanding!

Overall very well. Everyone was very courteous and work was left in an acceptable manner. Pricing seemed inline with what I expected, no comparative quotes.

Rich and I set up an appointment for him to install a whole home water purifier, an under the kitchen sink reverse osmosis unit and an alkalanizer. He was thorough, courteous, prompt and efficient. He was also very knowledgable and helped me understand how to use the unit. I would definitely use him again in the future!! Highly recommended.

It went very well. Only exception is that the work was done a few days later than planned as when he first arrived at the house he was running late for another job and decided to come back a couple of days later. Overall quality of work was very good and I have had no problems. Would certainly recommend.

Went great overall. Rich was punctual, got the work done quickly and cleaned up after himself. He offered me a couple options and helped me weigh the pros and cons so I could make an informed decision. I wish I had seen his Angie's List coupon first. I could have saved $35. Mr Reiser repared a toilet that was leaking sewage from the floor. His initial bid assumed that there was a flange in place. He found there had never been a flange and had to jackhammer the drain and install one. He had the part on his truck and was able to complete the job in one trip. He was honest, professional and pleasant. I'll use him for all my plumbing needs going forward.

Rich was fantastic! He called me back promptly and got me scheduled in the next day. He came right when he said he would and got right to work. He was friendly, professional, and excellent in all capacities. He charged a fair fee and I would certainly use him again and would highly recommend him.

Rich was a pleasure to work with. He called a few days before the appointment to confirm the time and what needed to be done. Not many service providers that I have contracted do this, and I was immediately impressed with his professionalism. Rich arrived promptly for the appointment and advised me as to what he would be doing to fix a slow leak and a bathtub spout that did not fit properly. He worked quickly and everything was tidy when the job was complete. A few years ago, another plumbing company gave us an estimate of $600 just replace the bathtub spout. Considering all of the additional work that Rich performed, I was very surprised just how reasonable his price was. Rich did a wonderful job, and I would recommend him to anyone who needs plumbing work done.

Another excellent experience with Rich. This was the third time Rich had been to our home, and we called him shortly after he had been to our home to correct a leak caused by moving our refrigerator. During that visit, he also fixed a leak under the kitchen sink and installed a new tub spout (neither of which we had spoken to him about in our call). My husband tried to clear a bathtub drain, but wasn't able to get it completely cleared, so we asked Rich to come back out to perform that service for us. While he was here, he checked on the work he had done under the kitchen sink and took a look at our humidifier, which was leaking. He also talked with us about fixtures for the bathroom. Rich is always responsive, prompt, and pleasant. He does great work and provides excellent value. We do not hesitate to recommend him or call him for additional work in our home.

Plumber arrived and took a look at the faucets. He described what he thought the problem was and went over how he would proceed. After work was completed, we turned the faucets on and off and made sure they no longer dripped. I was told that if there was any problem down the road to call him and he would come back and fix the faucets at no cost.

We had limited water pressure in our 100 year-old home in downtown Denver. After waiting months on another plumber who had done an assessment, but never set us an estimate, we threw in the towel and went to Angies list. Found Lord and Reiser, a small plumbing firm, e-mailed them a message. He called back within an hour, i explained the situation. He detailed exactly what and how he would do the work, gave me a verbal price. We shook hands. No paper, which made me a bit anxious, but i could tell he would be true to his word. He was. He made all the arrangements, determined where all the other service wires, pipes, etc would be, got the permit, etc, etc. We had a couple of family emergencies, he graciously worked around us, and on our schedule. This was greatly appreciated and completely unexpected! He dug up the garden, front yard and drilled a hole in the side of our house. He laid the pipe, arranged for the inspection. He left the garden in very good shape, put on protective booties before going into the house, nicely replaced the sidewalk, etc. The fee he charged was what we shook on. Rich is our plumber.

Rich had been to our home approximately a year ago to install a water heater and when we had a water leak recently, we called him. Both experiences were excellent. When Rich replaced the water heater, he did so the same day and followed up with us later, offering to come back for the inspection. (We had already had the inspection done, but were impressed with the follow-up.) On this call, Rich replaced the supply cord to our refrigerator that had leaked and also a valve under the kitchen sink. He also replaced a tub spout (which we were going to do ourselves and hadn't requested when we called). Rich is thorough, professional and reasonably priced. He didn't charge extra for a weekend call. He is very responsive, was prompt both times, and we feel comfortable having him in our home. We will definitely call him for further work.

Prompt service, arrived on time, provided estimate, and completed the work satisfactorily.

This control has been prone to failure, and Mr. Reiser took the time to design a repair that seems likely to be much more durable than past repairs.
