Charged $10/each for the 2 locks with keys and $15/ea for the 2 locks without keys, plus the $49 service call. | |Gordon was personable, friendly and very accommodating. I thought he more than deserved a 20% tip, but the homeowners were being frugal because they have five kids and it was near Christmas. I added $6 to his tip (all the money I had on me at the time). He deserved it.

We were in a real bind. The door knob from our house into the garage was broken and there was no way for us to remove it and replace with a new one - no screws to unscrew, a complete blank face plate; we didn't discover this until late in the evening. We called Viking and they told us we would probably want to buy the new lockset ourselves, as they wouldn't have one to exactly match the rest of our hardware. We made an appointment for the next day to give us time to purchase the lockset. When we went to get it, we decided to replace two others so that all of our locks could be keyed the same. The locksmith showed up exactly on time, and even he had some trouble with the broken lock, but he worked on it until he got it out and then replaced it with the new one. The other two locksets went smoothly, but all together it took a little over an hour. We felt that the charge was extremely reasonable for the time and trouble expended by the locksmith, who was also very friendly and pleasant. We will not hesitate to use Viking again should we need to in the future.

This company is A+ all the way around! I used a coupon from Angie's List. Their price was very affordable! Viking Lock re-keyed two doors to a townhouse that was recently purchased. The company was on time for the appointment. The work was conducted in a very professional manner. In a very short time the two locks were re-keyed and new keys were cut. I am totally satisfied with their service and would definitely recommend this company to anybody who needs a locksmith.

We chose Viking and used a coupon from Angie's List for the job. The locksmith showed up on time and did a wonderful job re-keying all six locks at our new home. Originally I had thought of buying all new locks from one of the big-box hardware stores, but I realized that it would cost us much more not only in price, but in frustration by installing new knobs/locks with all the inherent problems that could arise from changing out hardware. Viking cut us as many keys as we wanted and everything worked perfectly and was left neat and clean. We are going to call them back to re-set a floor safe for us in the near future.

My husband and I just moved into our first home, and were told by our realtor to get the locks changed (you never know who the old owner gave a key to). I found reviews for Viking Lock on Angie's List, and had to use them based on the reviews. I was not disappointed! Our lock technician showed up right on time and got to work checking out all of our locks. He was able to fix a bent lock in our front door, and get our back door, front door, and inside garage door to all have the same key. He then made us the copies of our keys that we needed for our family and friends! In all, the service took about an hour to an hour and a half. I would definitely recommend Viking Lock for any lock purposes!

Mike was great in spite of the fact that I did not have an original key, and that his van had broken down earlier in the day. Very knowledgeable and professional. We will use him again.

Fast, professional, courteous! Showed up on time, did exactly what we asked and did a fantastic job on our deadbolt install. He took the time to make sure that when locked, it pushed up against the door seal just right to seal the door perfectly! This guy is really good at what he does. I would highly recommend!

Mike beat me to the house for our appointment. He surveyed the doors I wanted rekeyed and explained the options; since we had hardware from multiple vendors we'd either need to replace some knobs/deadbolts or settle for 2 keys--he recommended we just use two keys. It took him about an hour. He also had some good advice about keypad deadbolts and recommended that I look into them and could probably install one myself. Very helpful and trustworthy guy. I will definitely use again for future locksmith needs.

Their customer service is phenomenal. They actually went over the way to put in a new dead bolt that matches the hardware that we already have for no extra charge, which was pretty nice.

Mike surprised the heck out of me. I live in Baltimore, Maryland and bought a home in Larkspur. I needed the locks changed after we closed. I called Mike and he did the work the same afternoon as my call. Not only was he extraordinarily responsive (a big plus with me) he charged an extremely reasonable fee. He billed promptly, another plus for me, and I would not hesitate to use him again or to recommend him to my friends and family. Bottom line: He can be trusted to do what he says he will do.

He came out promptly and changed 11 locks in under an hour, delaying his own Easter Dinner. Highly recommend.

Gordon showed up early, we went over everything and he got right to work. He was very thorough and kept me periodically updated. Installation took a little longer than expected, because one of the old locks was broken and he couldn't get it open, though he spent a while trying. Gordon also spent a while getting everything to latch and line up well, so the locks are all easy to use, and we appreciate that. He was also easy to have working in the house.

I bought a house and wanted to change the locks. I was able to do this myself for most of the locks but one lock was a very strange setup and I didn't know how to remove it or change it. Neither Lowe's nor HD had a similar kind of lock. I called Mike after seeing his name on Angie's List. We set up a time for an hour or so later and he showed up when he said he would. He was able to to explain how the lock worked, took it apart, took it to his truck, rekeyed it, supplied me with new keys and put it back together - all in about 15 minutes. It saved me a lot of time, aggravation and expense. I'll call him again next time I need a locksmith.
