Fantastic! Highly professional. The locksmith got right to work and completed the job in good time. Expertly done. And the price was right!

A bit pricey but great service. The tech matched a new deadbolt and door handle to my existing locks and they work great. The hardware price was reasonable; labor was longer than expected because he had to modify hardware. Very pleased.

Viking offered me a quick response which was much appreciated. He arrived on time and got to work looking at the locks to be rekeyed. As it turned out some doors had multiple locks to be done. So the workload about doubled on him and though it was late afternoon he got to work without complaint and finished in a timely manner. I would use them again in a heartbeat.

The locks don’t turn very smoothly, as the job was done poorly. We were given the wrong type of keys, instead of the larger sturdier door key, and he left a mess for me to clean up.

The work was completed promptly and professionally, and we would definitely hire this company again.

1st service call was prompt. Repairman could not fix it. Said new lock needed to be ordered. Said it would take 3-4 weeks. At 5 weeks I called and was told --with a bit of attitude--that it would take 6-8 weeks....no, 6-10 weeks.....no, 6-8 weeks...no. 8-10 weeks for the lock to come in....well, it's been over 10 weeks. I've never gotten a call back and my lock still hasn't been fixed. Can't recommend someplace that can't communicate and changes their story....

Recently, we were visiting relatives in Monument, Colorado, who have lived in their house for almost 40 years. The door locks were older, and spare keys were nowhere to be found. We checked out Angie's List to find a reputable locksmith, and came across Viking Lock and Safe. We noted the great reviews by those that have used their services, and were impressed. We made the call and arranged for a home visit two days later. Our locksmith, Gordon Casey, was a pleasure to work with. He was prompt, ready to work, and was very helpful in evaluating our locks and recommending the best approach for either rekeying or replacing the locks. We decided to increase the security of the home and had 3 locks rekeyed, and upgraded the other door knobs and associated locks. What an excellent experience. Gordon was highly skilled, and accomplished all the work in professional manner. He also has great people skills, and was a pleasure to be with. Gordon didn't mind me looking over his shoulder, and explained every component of his work operations. We would most highly recommend this firm, and especially Gordon Casey.

Locksmith re-keyed 5 cores and updated old lock when we bought the house. Wife was at the house and the locksmith spoke to me on the phone while I was at work and explained everything to me in regards of what I wanted (to include the best locks for home security. Secondly, I sent multiple emails to other locksmiths (it seems locksmiths in Colorado Springs are not hurting for business) and only received two replies back. I went with Viking for the Angie List reviews and I do not regret that!

There was some confusion about the address where the locks were to be changed; the provider was gracious about the mix-up and hustled to the new house. He re-keyed all the locks quickly and was a true professional. I plan to use him for all of my future locksmith needs!

This is a buyer beware review. I bought the "Rekey 4 locks for $69" package for my daughter who had moved into a new house and had several contractors performing work which required they have keys before she moved in. Perfect - she had 4 locks to rekey. What was not clear was they have to rekey both sides of the deadbolts which counts as 2 locks. The additional work resulted in an additional $90 charge. I would say the work was worth the total of $160 paid but the notes on the deal should have been more explicit and stated that each side of the lock was counted as one lock. Since I wasn't present for the work I was glad my daughter had the means to pay the additional cost and thus avoid any embarrassment. Note: Actual work was performed at my daughter's address which I have not specified.

The service was very good. The workers were efficient and knowledgeable. They cleaned up before they left. I would recommend them.
