+ -1 moreThey really took care of us, really did a great job of installing it and because of our house it was a big problem for them but we've had problems since then and they just have not responded to us we've had to call two or three times to get them to come out and one of the window lost it's seal which I mean it's not their fault and they came out and looked at it and they said the guy told us well it take a week or two to get it in and I called up two weeks later and they said oh it will be another five weeks before it comes in and then my wife I wrote it on the calendar and my wife didn't know it and wanted to them back and she called them this morning but anyway she called them up to find out what was going on because she didn't know it wasn't five weeks up yet and she was a little upset with them and so they will be out here next week to it the window in they've had it and they didn't even called us to come fit it in. I mean the installation and the service was really really good but their follow up service has been lousy really lousy.

+ -1 morePositive: Jason and his crew did an excellence job replacing the windows and patio door. I think they are the high point of the project. Mike was very professional in his measurement appointment and we felt comfortable with him in the house. He gave us some very good tips to be ready for the installed crew. Negative: I felt as if we were SCAMMED on the price and not having two windows replaced. Champion advertised a buy two get one free promotion. Once the sales representative arrived, she quickly changed it to one-third off on each window. We did not know what the actual price was for each window since Champion does not share that information. The cost is kept secretive. I believe the price change was so the sales rep could get a bigger commission from the sale. I believe the original promotion was to my advantage. We over paid for the project. Champion refused to replaced the two small windows in our bathroom which was set against tiles. The claim was that the windows were too small to manufactured. I think it because being set against tiles it would had cut into her commission on repairing potential damages. So Champion does false advertisement in saying they will replace all windows. Since all windows were not replaced, I have not felt a different in comfort level prior to doing this high priced job. I only have myself to blame. I wish I would had done additional estimates from other companies. My low score on Professionalism is for changing the promotion offers and a false reason for not doing the two bathroom windows. The low Price score because I felt I overpaid. I would give an F on the overall project, but that would be a disservice to Jason and Mike. Jason and Mike are the reasons I gave the A ratings in the sub categories.

The young men were so courteous, they were prompt, professional, efficient, and would clean up each day before they left for the day. We replaced every window in the house and can't get over the difference it has made with the temperature and comfort. No more drafts!

Chestnut Street Colorado Springs, CO 80907 RE: Unacceptable Customer Service. Dear Sir, In September 2015 I began calling to see if I could get a representative of Champion Windows to come and look at some issues I was having with a sunroom you built for me in the summer of 2007. Finally I was able to schedule someone to meet me and, on October 6th, ?Rob? came to look at the sunroom. I say ?Rob? because when asked for a business card I was told that he had none with him. ?Rob? looked at the sunroom (an enclosed, preexisting deck) noted the issues, made what were minor and temporary alterations (caulk to some exterior seams that had begun to separate) and took photos of the entire addition. ?Rob? said that he would discuss repair options with ?engineering? and get back to me soon. Not having heard from ?Rob? by Oct. 16th I called attempting to reach ?Rob? and learn the results of his discussions with ?engineering?. The receptionist connected me with ?Rob?s? supervisor who said he would have ?Rob? contact me. Foolish me, I did not get his name. The lack of a name not withstanding I did not receive a call back from anyone. On Oct 22d I called again and spoke with ?Carina? who said she would have ?Rob? call. He did call on Oct 23d and left a message with my companion saying that he needed to talk with his workers to find out details and doesn?t know where that person is at the moment. However he will get the information and call me back as soon as he is found. No call was forthcoming. On Oct 28th I called Champion again and left a message with the receptionist asking that ?Rob? call. Again on Nov 2d I left a message, this time with ?Karina? requesting a call back. On Nov 4th I received a call from ?Blade? saying that he was ?Rob?s? supervisor. We discussed the issues ?Rob? had raised and photographed and ?Blade? said that he would be here to look at the sunroom on Nov10th at approximately 11:00 AM. He did not appear nor did he call saying that he would not be able to make the appointment. The following day I left a message with the receptionist asking that ?Blade? call me. Again on Nov 16th I left another message with ?Karina? asking that ?Blade? call. This time ?Blade? called back saying that he would be here ?noonish? on Thursday Nov 19th. NO CALL? NO SHOW. When I called on Nov 20th ?Blade? said that he thought that the appointment was for the 20th. He went on to say that he and ?Greg? (position unknown to me) would arrive on Monday (Nov 23d), before noon. On Nov 23d my companion took a call from someone at Champion who did not leave a name saying that his truck had ?broken down? between Colorado Springs and Penrose and that he had had trouble finding a telephone signal to call and explain. When he did call he said that he would call and reschedule the next week (week of Nov 30th). Since that time I have not heard from anyone at Champion. I am not only frustrated but more than disappointed with such abysmal customer service from what purports to be a conscientious corporate entity. + -1 moreOrder was placed and downpayment submitted first week of July. 2 sliding screen doors and 1 storm door. MORE THAN 2 MONTHS later an installer arrived at my home UNANNOUNCED, to install the doors; neither screen door is functional, with the screen not well attached, and door does not slide properly in track. the storm door finish is the wrong color (and therefore looks terrible) AND the handle is not the one i requested. I contacted them the next day to try and get them to resolve the situation - presumably with 3 new doors - and 3 days later have not yet heard back from them. slow service, poor customer service, inability to fill customer requests, and highly inconvenient, as now i need to make arrangements meet them at my house, during normal business hours, to show them the problem... and again, during normal business hours (not an easy task when single and working a full time job ) to presumable have them uninstall current doors and reinstall new ones. overall they get an F so far; hoping they can come up with a rapid solution still

+ -1 moreAfter doing an in-home estimate where we were given prices and told that we could do our whole house one window at a time, when we were ready to schedule, the new pricing and sales mistake was announced. At our meeting to sign the contract and schedule the installation of the one window with which we were starting, we were told that the sales person made an error and gave us the price for the wrong window type. Then we were told that the supervisor authorized us for a special discount, but we had to start with installing 3 windows to receive the discount. This bait and switch is not only unethical, but it also makes this company look incompetent and sleazy. We will not be doing business with this company and would advise others to be cautious when dealing with them.

Since I have had these windows put in, it appears as if I could have probably done better by several thousand dollars. The workmanship seemed very good. I definitely feel the difference in my home. The product seems to be good. I do think that they are a little pricey. It did turn out that I have paid couple of thousands too much after I spoke to several other companies later. I would get some more prices before I make my final decision in the future.

+ -1 moreI love working with Champion Window. They are always very professional. The window quality is one of the very best. The salesman, Tom Lowrey, is who we have been in direct contact with. The first time he came out, he did a demonstration for us to show us the value of their product. He showed us how it would resist the heat. That is what sold me. I plan to use them in the future for a storm door.
Description of Work: The first time I used them they did an installation of 6 windows. The second time they came out and did 2 more.

+ 0 moreOne of the doors was installed over 15 years ago and I have had a few issues with the lock recently. They have been responsive and have come out to fix it for me. Most recently they installed a window for me. I have to climb onto a stool in order to latch and unlatch the window. They are a good company to work with.

+ -1 moreTook almost 3 months to get the "product." The "product" was not what I signed up for. The salesperson stated that the slider I was purchasing had 4 (FOUR) locking points on the door. When product finally arrived, it DID NOT have the 4 point locking system as per what I viewed in the showroom, nor what the salesperson told me. The local facility "Manager" said the product I signed up for was no longer available, apologized, and said he would contact me in the next 7 days to "make it right". Never heard back from the slug! Will NEVER use this place again. BTW, have a whole house of replacement windows to install and they have lost MY business. In short, they suck!

+ 0 moreI received a call on Thursday that my windows were ready. They fortunately had an opening on Friday so I accepted it. I was told that they would be at my house between 8 and 3:30 in the morning. They didn't arrive until 9:15 which was a tad annoying, but other then that it went smooth. They cleaned up after themselves as they went along. They took all debris with them as promised. I couldn't be happier with the finished product. I would encourage anyone considering Champion windows to at least allow them to do the demonstration. After the demonstration I went to Lowes and Home Depot to compare what I learned about the competition. There is a clear difference that really makes it worth a premium cost.
Description of Work: We had them come out and do a demonstration of the windows. The subsequently provided a quote for 9 windows and a sliding glass door. Due to the cost, we agreed to have 4 windows and the sliding glass door done now and the remainder in the spring when it warms up.

+ 0 moreWe love the doors and the windows that they installed. They are excellent people to work with. They had a crew of two guys and the job just took one day for the doors when it should have taken two. When standing around the windows you cannot feel the cold at all. The price is well worth the product. The Champion windows are made in Denver and I would recommend this company and the product 100%. They have a guarantee with the windows and they will repair or replace them as needed. I had a well window that a raccoon had messed with the screen and I took it to them and they repaired the screen at no charge. We had them put windows in our bathroom and my wife got one a little out of place and I called them, they came out that day to help us and they explained how to use the window.
Description of Work: They put in 14 new windows last year. They put in three sliding glass doors recently. They installed screens as well.
