Dont understand why it wasn't pointed out when I had my regular scheduled appointment and why a bait trap wasn't put out , we had to put the one you put by the south gate. When you came out for after I called and all that was done is the holes were covered up.

I still have moths after 5 treatments and need to call another company. I made it clear from the beginning I did not want my outside sprayed. Three times I had to stop them from spraying my outside areas. I also made it clear that I worked out of my home and needed to schedule times over the phone and not have a robot call time schedule. I continually had to stop the robot calls and once didn't get one and they showed up. The service people who came were friendly and nice. I ended up not trusting them as several times I had stop them from spraying my outside even though the manager said they knew I didn't want my outside sprayed and wouldn't do it. One of their service technicians told me that his service was going to be the last one then quite a few weeks later I got another robot call saying I had another service coming. I was locked into their services and they would have automatically repeated another 5 if I had not called to make sure that I was finished. That was what I was told. So today when I was looking for another company to hire to get rid of the moths that they did not get rid of, within 5 minutes of putting an inquiry into Angies list for a company, Edge Pest control called. They not only called once, they called twice within 5 minutes of my search on Angies list.

We do this in order to give our customers the opportunity to make adjustments to the planned appointment if they need to. We apologize if you felt that this was not done. Obviously, your service was to be preformed a bit differently than our usual process. We usually treat the outside of the home during every service and the interior only upon request. You wanted the opposite. There were special notes made on your account to inform our service specialist of these special circumstances, and we apologize if they failed to abide by what the notes instructed them to do. We will escalate this issue to the branch manager in your area and let them know that some extra training needs to take place to ensure that all of our customer's special requests are met. Now, as for your persistent moth issue. Moths can be tricky to get rid of because of the way our product works. The moths have to come in direct contact with the product. In order to get flying insects to interact with the product they must land directly on the treated area. As mentioned before, we did not service the exterior of your home regularly. This may have also played a factor in the persistent activity. Without having your entire home treated (exterior and interior) it is hard to guarantee that the moths are going to come in contact with the product. Unfortunately, awful experience with this company. The actual people that come to the house to spray are terrific. The sales team, pretty nasty. I was first clued in when I called 3 weeks after my first spray. The guy who came to my door to sign me up had assured me I could call at any point if I had problems and they'd be out in 24-48 hours during the business week. The sales lady on the phone refused to send someone out, saying they were coming to spray again in a week and I needed to be patient. The real blow came when I found out the original sales guy came to my door had put on my agreement 2 years instead of 1 the one year we had clearly discussed. It's definitely my bad for not spotting it - the timeline visible on the contract only shows through 2017 so it was an easy miss. I had a really minor ant problem and made it clear I didn't need a bunch of sprays, a point which even the supervisor Jordan agreed with. I asked Jordan if I could pause the service and continue in the summer -- so they would still get their business but I and the environment could avoid unnecessary sprays. It's really frustrating that they weren't willing to do anything. Jordan, and the whole sales team, cites how they have my best interests when it comes to controlling my pests, but as previously mentioned, even Jordan admitted I don't need this many services for the minor ant issue. It's so awful that 1, the sales guy was so dishonest, especially when he knew what pests we had, and 2, that the company wouldn't do anything about it.

There are multiple sections that we have you sign on the agreement and one of those is directly related to the servicing schedule. That's why we train our sales reps to reiterate multiple times the length our customers are signing up for. The sales rep was correct when he assured you that you could call at any time for our guaranteed free re-service. We do use the best products on the market, but it is important that you give it time. We train our service specialists to treat more places around your home with it and we tend to flush out untouched nests inside your home. This can cause a random increase in visible activity, but we assure you that is our product working, and it will decrease soon after. It is important to maintain the servicing schedule to ensure that the barrier our product creates is always present at your home, without it there is the possibility of your pest issues increasing. This company is very bad to deal with. They trp you into a contract and force you to have service even when you want to postpone. I called their office tie to delay until spring since I have wasp issue. They said I was was braking my control and 1/2 balance is due. I called to work it out but the person on the phone was rigid with his every 6 weeks. THe wasp problem is still here.

I have been pleased with their service overall. Not cheap, but they do complete coverage of the house and yard. Having to sign a contract for this work is new to me, but they have been very transparent to this point. I will gladly refer to others.

We were told that for the 2nd service someone would come sweet the cob webs out of the garage but that never happened. We were also told up front this was a 1 year contract but come to find out it was for 2 years. One time they left something at the front door saying there had just sprayed around the house after a fresh snow on a day when I was home and yet there were no foot print and I was watching and no one ever walked around the house!
Description of Work: For them to finish the garage as promised on the 2nd visit but the guy who came out (from 75 miles away from Fort Collins didn't have a clue what I was talking about.

The actual technicians that came out quarterly were great to work with. But their phone customer service center was awful! We let them go after a little more than a year. Their customer service reps can be flighty and lacking surface knowledge. The sales reps are sneaky. They were telling us they'd give us a discount for the trouble we went through with their customer service reps, but then wanted more information from us. I finally realized they were trying to put us on another year-long contract. And I had to ask. They did not volunteer that information. If we didn't sign up, they would not give us the discounting they originally told us was for the "issues we went through with their customer service". We have too many businesses out there just after our funds. They'll have to earn our trust. They certainly lost our trust and our business.

Worst customer service.. I canceled in oct 2016, they ignored the cancel order. came to service my house in january.. we didnt let them.. they billed me for Oct and January service.. I refused to pay for January service.. We agreed I would pay the oct service and we would be all even.. Come May 31st, i get a collection notice for the January service.. they lie and are not honest with their customers.. never use them..

We went through all of the calls thoroughly to try and find record of your request for cancellation and were unable to find any verification. We searched for phone calls with your primary, secondary, and work numbers. We also checked for emails and with our service specialist to ensure we didn't miss something. This is why your regular servicing schedule continued in January. We thought you were still wanting the service. We didn't hear from you until a month after your January service that you were wanting to cancel or that that January service was unexpected. Because we did come to service your home in January we did have to charge you. At this point your October service still had a due balance. After this, you had an overdue balance for 212 days, which is well past the time where collections might be considered. We also attempted to contact you many times along with sending you many warnings concerning your account balance. We are sorry for the confusion.

Buyer beware of predatory practices. I feel totally scammed. I requested bed bug service from Edge 6 weeks ago. They were the first to call me back in my moment of panic, and the deal seemed legit compared to Orkin or Terminix, and they could come the same day on a Saturday. They told me the cost would be distributed over the course of a year, and that bed bug service includes outdoor spraying for ants, wasps, etc and free retreatments for bed bugs after the first three treatments are done. Yay, right? Well, they didn't mention that I had to be locked into a contract for OUTDOOR service that I don't actually need, and wasn't even informed that I was signing a year-long contract. Oh just go ahead and initial the I-Pad and I'll get started kind of thing. They didn't mention that were keeping my debit card on file to charge whenever they want. They didn't mention that I was being charged for the outdoor service at $109 bucks a pop (that I don't need) at the same time as the bed bug service. The bed bug service itself costs $160.00 and literally consists of a guy coming to your house for 5 minutes and spraying your baseboards, and the beds only if you prop them up. They won't spray mattresses for some reason, which is where many of the bugs have been found. I ask to have the couch sprayed, and they literally just spray the bottom edge and nothing else. The attractant in the spray supposedly does all the work. Then why am I still being bitten at least every other day? Bed bugs hide in cracks and tiny crevices, screw holes, folds of fabric. How is it that just spraying the baseboards is going to do anything? The answer is: it isn't. I just had to throw my son's bed away this weekend, because he continues to be bitten every time he sleeps there. There has never been any inspection of furniture, baseboards, bedding, nothing. Terminix wouldn't even begin treatment until an actual bug was identified. So fast forward to this weekend, my third spraying in 6 weeks. They want to charge me again for outdoor "quarterly" spraying. It has not been a quarter since the last one, it has been six weeks. I ask to opt out because I've already shelled out over $600 for this and now I'm broke, and I'm told they can maybe push it out a week. I call to cancel my service, because frankly I don't think it's a good value, and ALL of the chemicals listed on their report are all available at Home Depot for about $15. This is where I'm told I'm locked in a contract, and if I want to cancel, I have to pay a $200 early cancellation fee, and there's nothing they can do about it, but I can have all the bed bug treatments I want free if I continue to pay for the outdoor service. $200 for what? For not doing work? Nothing you can do about it? Well that's a damned scam if I've ever heard one. The manager tells me they can pull up the recorded conversation if I want to dispute that I was aware of a contract. Nice customer service. I wasn't aware of anything. I was panicking trying to get an infestation of blood sucking bugs in my children's beds under control. Bed bugs are a serious problem people. They are very difficult to get rid of. I was vulnerable when I reached out to them, and they absolutely took advantage of my misfortune. Please just pay the money to get proper service. I wish I had. I can't speak to how they handle other household pests, but the bed bug service is a scam.

Certain discounts are available for longer lengths of agreements, like the one you have. We were also able to offer a significant discount on the bed bug services since they were bundled with our regular services. We do this not only to offer the discount, but to offer a full year of protection against the bed bugs, which can be difficult to treat. This way, if the bed bugs do return for whatever reason, we will treat for them again, for free. We do track by GPS how long our service specialists spend at each residence and each visit was at a minimum of 20 minutes. As for our products, we do use the best on the market and make sure to treat more places around your home with it. Our service specialists are trained very well and know the best strategies to protect your home. Now, over time, our product has the ability to get into nests that have never been touched. This can cause a random increase in activity but we are always willing to come right back out, for free, to make sure you are taken care of. After my previous review about predatory practices with regard to my 80 year old mother, I called the vice president who is supposed to be in charge of customer service. He had left an answer to another negative review, saying he was hoping to improve customer service: W. Devin Wagstaff Vice President of Customer Relations devin@edgecustomercare.com 866-529-0864 ext 1018 His assistant called me back promptly, asked about what had happened and sounded appropriately concerned. She promised that either she or Mr. Wagstaff would call me back the next day. I have never received another call from them. Nor have we received any response to our complaint at the Better Business Bureau. My mother was afraid for her credit rating, so she has paid $150 to have the contract cancelled. Apparently this business model is working fine for the company. Edge did finally send an electronic copy of a contract with an obviously pasted-on signature. My mother says she never saw this contract and only agreed to have paper-wasps removed, not a year-long contract.

Edge pest control showed up in my elderly mother's yard, offering services. She had paper wasps and Edge sent someone to remove them. Wasp removal went fine. Then they said she was under contract for a year with them. She was moving in a few months and does not remember any contract for a year. We called Edge thinking there had been an error and they would fix it. They sent a contract with her signature pasted in place, a contract she never saw. We asked them to please cancel that contract and just charge her for the wasp removal. They refused. I called the executive in charge of customer service (who had provided his number to someone else who complained on Angie's list). His assistant called back, listened to the story, and said the man would call me in the next day or so. I have never heard back. I have left some more messages. Mom paid out the contract to avoid credit issues. It's been a year and I have never heard back from Edge Pest Control. They showed up in her yard, talked their way into her house, then invented a contract. How alarming does it have to be to get the attention of the "customer service" VP?

The company's representative came into my mother's yard offering a pest control service. She is 80 years old and moving in a couple months to a retirement community. They pushed her to sign a one year contract that she did not understand and did not need. Now they will not allow her out of the contract. We have called to ask them to cancel it after the first payment and all they will do is cite their supposedly unchangeable policy. They will not allow us to speak to a manager. This seems like unethical and predatory business practice. My mother spoke to the salesman because she had a paper wasp nest n her house. They did remove the paper wasps and they were punctual and polite.
