I have used Doug for several home inspections this year. He is very detailed and thorough. He notices those small issues that may turn out to be a real real estate nightmare. His advice is very solid. He is very professional and on time. Always has a smile and snacks available. He does a really good job and has saved me tens of thousands of dollars. On one property I was looking at to buy as a rental, he noticed the concrete foundation wall, which was covered by drywall in the finished basement, was not level and had shifted 2" out of plumb. It was barely noticeable. Upon further inspection from the structural engineer, it was a 10 to 15 thousand dollars repair which would have required tearing out most of the finished basement and re-pouring the foundation. I terminated the deal and moved on. Doug's keen eye saved me from buying a lemon.

Doug is extremely knowledgable, professional and detail oriented. He did a fantastic job conducting the inspection and communicating the results. He is very courteous, delivers a comprehensive written report with photos and offers a lot of value for the price! I would HIGHLY recommend him to any buyer seeking a great home inspector!!
