I am very pleased with the service. He is very good about communication and setting up an appointment pretty quickly.

Brett, the owner of Lockstar in Broomfield, is new to the Denver-Boulder area and eager to please new clients. I scheduled the appointment with him and he arrived on time, was friendly and courteous, and installed the keypad locks quickly. I then asked him about some other door and lock issues in our home, and found him very knowledgeable and helpful. He suggested several alternatives for what I wanted to accomplish, including securing an exterior sliding glass door that had been easy to jimmy open and inserting a turn-lock mechanism and key lock on a hurricane screen door. He installed the new locking mechanisms, changed the locks on all the entry doors, and made the necessary keys on the spot, including Master Keys and single-door "Do Not Duplicate" keys for my downstairs tenants -- his idea! It was a novel experience to have such a likeable and knowledgeable serviceman offer creative solutions and efficient follow-through. I'll use Lockstar services in the future and have been referring friends to him.

He has done some work for us and he is in the process of finishing because the part he needed wasn't available. So far, we've had good luck with him. I wasn't here when my wife was here but my wife didn't say anything negative so I'm sure he was fine. The workmanship was good, all the keys worked in all the doors and that's what you want. Whatever tool he used to drill the holes for the new dead bolts is way better than anything I've ever tried to do myself because they were all nice and straight so whatever he did he did it right, he knew what he was doing. The part has taken a couple of months and that's a hassle but otherwise everything was fine. We talked to a couple of people and his prices are competitive.

Brett was awesome - very fast, professional, accommodating, and did and excellent job installing the locks. The locks are located at the top of every door to keep our children safe and unable to open doors on their own (our kids are 1 year old and 3 years old). The locks were recommended on Lockstar's Web site to keep kids safe and we are so pleased with the results and the ease of mind it provides us so our kids can't just walk out of the house!

I got a big deal for this from Angie’s List. It was good and fine. He was great. He showed up when he said he was going to and its working well again.

I did a search on Angie's List for highly rated Locksmiths in my area, and Lockstar came up, plus a $10 off coupon. I read the reviews, and made a call to Brett. He answered the phone, and was able to schedule me in for the following day. Brett arrived today promptly at the time we arranged, and worked on the two locks I needed re-keyed. He worked quickly, but with attention to detail. He was able to provide me with the key consolidation I needed, and did so quickly and professionally.

Brett returned my phone call right away on the weekend, clearly explained his fees and showed up promptly for the appointment. He resolved the issue and gave me advice to prevent future issues. Very nice and professional.

We spoke on the phone before hand so that he knew what to bring. He set the appointment quickly, showed up on time, looked the project over, made suggestions and did the work as requested. I did not like that he would have charged me another service call if he had not had the proper parts to do the job.

Got an Angie's list coupon online, then he called to set up appt. I had to call him back but then we lined something up for the next day. He was punctual, friendly, and made me feel at ease. He checked out the locks that needed replacing and even suggested a security enhancement that I chose to take advantage of. He did the job quickly and efficiently. I highly recommend using him.

I e mailed Brett and he phoned me right back. He helped me select the lock that I wanted. I was then able to find the lock on line for a good price. We scheduled a date and he was there on time to install my new lock. He phoned me the night before to confirm, was very fast, the work was perfect and he even insisted on cleaning up after the job was complete. Brett is very professional, reliable and a nice person as well. I am extremely pleased with the service from start to finish.

Brett was very professional and personable to work with. He showed up at the scheduled date/time. We had him re-key 4 doors to all use the same key. We also had him install 4 new deadbolts, and one security bar on a sliding glass door for us. When we get to the point of actually replacing exterior doors, we will be calling him again to do the work. He also does emergency calls, if you happen to lock yourself out of your house or car. So far, we haven't had to use him for that, but it's good to know that he's available, if needed.

Great experience all around. Returned my call within minutes, scheduled an appointment for the next day, used really high quality deadbolts (compared to the inferior locks that were installed when we bought the house). Did a beautiful and secure repair of the door frame. Friendly and professional. Really knowledgeable about locks and security systems. Worked quickly. I highly recommend him.

I called Lockstar to take advantage of "The Big Deal" from this list. Brett was able to come immediately because he had just finished a job nearby. Brett rekeyed all of the locks in the house to one key because the former homeowner hadn't given me keys to the back doors or to the garage. The doorknob to the garage was funky, so I asked Brett to replace it rather than rekey it. Brett worked quickly and kept his work area very clean. He also performed a security check on my house and even verified that the existing strike plates had the longer screws. I appreciate that he took these extra steps and spent time with me answering questions about locksmiths and security. If I ever get locked out of house or car, this is the guy I'm going to call. Recommend him very highly.

He was here and gone in five minutes, and his service was excellent. He knew what the problem was before he even arrived. He was accurate in his guess, and was very competent.

It was a good experience and I have had no problems.

It was a Sunday evening. It was cold and it was raining. It was miserable. We returned home to find our electricity out, therefore no garage door to open. We hadn't unlocked our front door in 30 years as the garage had always been our entry point. I went to Angie's List on my iPhone browser, looked up Locksmith and Eternal Security Lockworks (ESL) popped up. It had excellent reviews so I called it, thinking how easy it would be at 8:00 PM on a cold, rainy Sunday night to let it go to voice mail but Brett answered it on the first ring. I explained my predicament and he said he'd be right there. Within minutes, he pulled up to my house. It took him a while to deal with the old lock but he got us in the house and then stayed out in the rain to work on the lock, re-key it and then make extra keys for future use. At no time did he make me feel stupid (which I was) for getting myself in such a fix and he was friendly and efficient. There was an after-hours charge, which I fully expected and was happy to pay. Another very impressive part of his service was the fact that he was able to connect a credit card scanner to his iPhone which allowed me to charge the fees to my credit card. It was extremely fast and efficient. Our overall experience with Brett's company could not have been any better.

Brett was very prompt, professional and easy to work with. His work is not only of high-quality but also very quick and clean. We are extremely satisfied with his work. Since one of our Door Guardian patio latches was installed by him in a coldest winter day, the material expanded after the temperature dramatically went up within a few days. It caused some problem opening the sliding door. We had to ask Brett to come back and adjust it. Brett came back almost immediately and fixed it for us. Now everything works perfect. We would highly recommend Brett to anyone.

Brett was very polite and informative throughout the transaction. Since he couldn't come on the day I contacted him, he provided me with names and numbers for other locksmiths. After reviewing his recommendations on Angie's List, I decided I could wait an extra day for him. He removed the hair pin and I ended up paying a lot less than if I had to have the ignition replaced. I would definitely use him again for any locksmith needs.

I had a filing cabinet that got locked and I had no key. Brett came out, popped the lock and, at my request, disabled it. Now I can get into my cabinet and I don't have to worry about it getting accidentally locked again in the future. Brett was very quick, efficient, and professional. I'm extremely pleased with the service and his responsiveness.

We moved into a new home and wanted to have all the locks changed. I asked about getting all the exterior doors changed to use the same key, but would have had to replace three of the locks, at a cost of around $260. This locksmith showed me all the options and saved me lots of money. He also was very responsive, arrived on the job within an hour. The entire job was complete within another hour. Awesome! Professional! and Honest!

I had two gun lockers and had lost the keys to both. There were two locks on each locker. Brett was able to replace all locks with no damage to the cabinets. This was complicated by the locks being inset. I would highly recommend Brett to anyone. He came in under the estimate and was very professional.

Brett arrived on time, was very professional, and got right to work. He re-keyed several locksets for us the day we moved into our new house and made extra copies of our keys. He was quick, efficient, personable, and even asked if I would prefer he take his shoes off while working in the house.
