Prompt, courteous, informative service

I sent Brett photos of the locks I needed replaced and he very promptly responded with a very professionally prepared quote for over $1000! his bid was over 3x higher than my lowest competitive bid and about 2x as much as the average bid (not including his). Of course, i did not move forward with his services.

I saw all the great reviews on Angie's List, so it was a no-brainer to choose Lockstar to replace all my locks. I called Brett and he was able to come out and change my locks the next day. He would have changed the locks the same day I called him, but my schedule couldn't make it work out. He came right on schedule (actually a little early), and was able to come in and out in less than an hour. I mentioned the online deal he had going on, so he was able to honor it even though I did not purchase it online. In addition, he was able to give me some extra keys for free! I would and will recommend his services to anyone I know.

My mom was very pleased Lockstar, LLC. She locked herself out of the downstairs sewing room. He came to unlock the door and made two copies of keys. He was very nice and told us up front what the service call fee was. Hopefully, we will not get locked out again. But if we do, we will call Lockstar, LLC.

Our door handle was broken and could not be open from inside or outside. Sent email to Lockstar, received a call back within a few hours. Spoke on phone and described problem. He asked me to take pictures of the door handle and text to him. He came the next day, presented my husband with 2 options. Completed the work quickly and competently. Price was exactly as quoted.

Perfectly. Showed up on time and finished quickly. Was very pleasant and a great attitude. You can't get parts for the toolbox any longer - 30 years old. He said he'd look through his inventory to see if he had anything compatible. He did and we agreed on a reasonable price for the extra work. I will definitely call him again if I need any lock work.

Brett was an amazing professional to interact with and did the highest quality of work. We recently purchased a bank-owned property and had planned to have all of the exterior doors re-keyed (5) and also to install a keypad deadbolt. I spoke with Brett several times prior to the service date to discuss pricing, finishes, and purchasing new handles to match the deadbolts. He arrived precisely on time and with the products we had discussed. While he was working my husband and I realized it would be best to replace all the handles and deadbolts on the exterior doors, so Brett stayed with us for almost four hours getting all of the new hardware installed, even though that was more than he had originally planned to do. He even performed extensive maintenance on the doors themselves to be sure that they were all swinging correctly and shutting securely. A++ service, would call again in a heartbeat.

The service went well. When he thought he'd be delayed in his arrival, he called to let us know. It turned out that he arrived on time, but I appreciated the heads up. We needed our locks rekeyed in a hurry and Lockstar performed the service promptly and efficiently. He even pointed out an easy repair I could perform on our front door to make the deadbolt slide back and forth easier (and help the lock last longer). This saved us money since he didn't perform the repair himself, and it will extend the life of our deadbolt, saving us money in the long run. I highly recommend Lockstar for your locksmithing needs.

The service was excellent from beginning to end. Called one day and appointment was set for next afternoon. Prompt, efficient and professional service. There is nothing negative to report.

Brett called about 20 minutes before his scheduled arrival time and said that he would be a bit late due to traffic. That's understandable considering he was coming to Longmont from Broomfield at 8:30am. Brett arrived earlier than expected and I showed him what I wanted done and he got right to work. Of course, I had to be "that guy" and add in a couple of extra locks, like on the garage door and an additional door knob for the house. Brett did the additional work without complaint. I asked about our sliding glass door in the back and he said he didn't have the lock in stock that he normally would recommend, but pointed me to it online. Brett completed his work and billed me less than originally stated. Brett is friendly, courteous and very knowledgable in his field. He worked fast and quietly and in the end provided a valuable service at a fair price. I only wish he would have given me more than one business card so that I could hand them out to coworkers and friends. Brett will be the only locksmith I call from now on.

I called Lockstar because of their high rating. They were not able to help me as they were busy on other jobs. However, Lockstar took the time to provide me with 3 other locksmiths that they recommended. This was so appreciated because I didn't know who else to call. There are many stories of locksmiths ripping off clients and I didn't want to select the wrong company. In the future, I would call and recommend Lockstar. Even though they didn't do the work, they were an excellent resource and made sure that they helped me resolve the problem quickly and safely.

This guy is a perfectionist! I've never had doors that were so easy to lock and unlock. He took the extra time to make sure everything was aligned perfectly, and the keys were working properly. Definitely will be recommending Lockstar.

The service guy was excellent. I have double locks on my security doors and recommended a change. I am glad for this suggestion. He was very courteous, offering to take off his shoes to keep my floors clean. He was prompt, friendly and a very nice guy.
