Job was scheduled and work was done on time as scheduled. Could not have been easier on my family.

The man who came to talk to me about the windows spent a great deal of time with me. He even brought in samples of the windows and showed me all the different features. It was fantastic. That's what made me go with them and also the price. Also, while he was here, he called Wells Fargo and got me an approved Wells Fargo home improvement card that allowed me to pay it off in six months, with no interest. The whole experience could not have been better. I didn't even know about the home improvement card. But while he was there, he did that. He called and gave them my information and of course, I was instantly approved for that. That allowed me to have them, for a price I could afford. I'm 82, living on a fixed income. It was fantastic. I believe they also would replace my front door for me further down the road. I would use them again if I could, but I would recommend them to anybody.

Great. My husband called the company to schedule an estimate for the work to be completed. They took his name, the property address and his phone number. They said they would go out to the property the next day to complete the estimate. That was last week. He just called them to follow-up, since we hadn't heard anything back. He was told he'd need to speak to the sales person, Lowell, to receive our estimate. Lowell called him back and said that he never went out to the property. We will not be moving forward with this company and would NOT recommend them. B- rating OVERALL Experience I changed my rating from an "F" to a "B." As a result of my original review here on Angie's List, Clyde contacted my husband to correct their mistake. I am a firm believer that mistakes happen but a GOOD business is judged by how they handle their mistakes. Clyde fully corrected the situation by coming out to give an estimate at a time that was convenient for us (and my tenants), giving us a very fair and competitive price, and then being very accommodating with completing the work. I would absolutely use this company again and recommend them to others.

They did a great job. They install the windows in a timely manner. They gave me a discount. I just can't congratulate them enough for showing great customer service.

We were very impressed with all aspects of the project from the coordination for appointments with office staff to the workers showing up to do the actual job. We had some lead based paint in our window sills which they determined and handled appropriately with proper precautions and equipment. The windows look great and they finished in less than a day with extra workers. Couldn't tell they'd been at the house except for the new windows. Amazing. We'll see how the actual windows hold up and perform over the next few years but I think we will be pleased according to other reviews that I've read about this company.

Their advertisement says up to 30% off for Angie’s List members. They would not honor the discount when the sales person came. I called their office a week after the 12th, they said that deal for was for windows only. However, it clearly states “Up to 30% off for Angie’s List members!” The following week, their measurement guy came out and said they would order the door Nov 20th or 21st. They said it would take 6-8 wks to get the door. I called around 5 weeks later between Christmas and NYE to check and I was told “It hasn’t been made yet.” After being put on hold a few times, the woman said it would be installed on Jan 15th. On the 15th, I got a call from the secretary saying that the door wasn’t in Denver yet. She stated they would install it on the 17th. I also requested the owner give me a call when I was on the phone with her. On the 17th, the installers came and installed the storm door. The installer said, “I know you have had some issues with the company so I will not collect the second half of the payment today.” He said he would go back to the office to let them know he didn’t collect the final portion of the payment. At that time, I asked the installer to have the owner contact me. On the 19th, the owner called me but I was unavailable, I called back around 11am, the secretary said he was in a meeting and would call back. He called my back in the afternoon. I went over the entire situation and he kept telling me there was nothing he could do. He also stated that there was fine print in the deal stating that I needed to call for details. There is no such item in the ad. He said the ad stated the up to 30% discount was only on Edison windows in the advertisement, which there is nothing stating that in the ad. When I spoke with the secretary in Nov about the discount issue, She said, “Oh that must be a mistake. We’ll call them to have that updated.” He also stated they operate on such a slim margin for profit that he couldn’t honor the 30 % off the project. I stated I wasn’t asking for 30% off. Then he said, “How about I give you a gift certificate to a restaurant for two.” That was an insult. Finally, after 15min, he asked what would satisfy me, I stated “10% off the full project” and he agreed to honor this request. I am looking at the Jan 2015 ad in the publication for New Windows for America and it still says verbatim; “Up to 30% off for Angie’s List members” This ad in the publication is very misleading. It very clearly states “Up to 30% off for Angie’s List Members” yet I had to fight for weeks for them to honor any discount at all. I will be going to their company today to pay my bill and will double check to make sure that they have honored the 10% off the entire project. If they have not, I will update my review.

Very responsive and best price. Had a couple of glitches that were resolved with one phone call and immediate attention.

It went really well. They were very nice to work with.

I was into my fourth presentation for a window replacement estimate. I was comfortable with Keith during his presentation. He presented options and company information. Estimate pricing was reasonable for the number of windows. He offered to include windows replacement for a living room bay window. I had received estimates from previous estimates that were more expensive than I was comfortable with. His bay window estimate was 1/3 of other estimates. I placed an order during our presentation. The installation was schedule for May 10 but had to be rescheduled due to shipping delays. The installation occurred on May 22 expected to take one day. The installers were patient, dealt effectively with problems that arose during the install. Complications with the bay window install occurred that added several hours to the install. The install continued a second day. The company owner came to review the problem and assured me that the problem would be handled. The installers tried several approaches to install the bay windows with an ending success. The house is more than 50 years old so the original windows were in sad shape. The new windows improve the look of the house and make it significantly more comfortable on hot summer days. Cool breezes blow in from all sides during the summer nights. I ordered full screens after the original order which had an unexpected higher price. The screens were comped because of the installation scheduling. I had to be persistent to obtain all expected screens. Several windows were wrapped to improve appearance and decrease wear. I am very satisfied with the product and satisfied with the service. In the end, the problems and delays seem minimal in comparison to the new windows and their benefits. I would use their services again and recommend them.

Ordered windows, it took about 6 weeks to build and ship. Removal and installation took a day.

Install crew showed up on time and replaced 6 windows in about 4 hours. They were careful and put down tarps to protect floors. These guys were actually excited about their product and were eager to demonstrate how everything worked. I will have them replace more windows done in the future.

Keith gave us a good sell and demonstration of the product. We chose Windows for America over 5 other companies based on the price and products. The work was scheduled over 3 days, but most of it was completed in 1 day. The only problem was a mis-sized door (order was right, but door was too big) but that was rescheduled and completed promptly. We were doing this through a special energy loan and Clyde and Kathleen were very good about working with us on the payment schedule. Overall, it was a painless experience.

Estimator prompt courteous, knowledgeable. Installed on schedule at quoted price. Very high quality install, careful with our property. Thorough cleanup afterwards. Couldn't be happier with service, quality and price. We'll be contacting them next year for new siding!

More than a fair price. Can't remember EXACT cost tho between $330-$400 that's windows and labor. Very good quality of window and work done. Response time....they came out when I asked and was punctual and performed job in half the time estimated. Very professional and nice.

Showed up on time (even a little early...gotta love that enthusiasm!!) Great job...efficient, friendly, easy to talk with. Explained any unexpected situation (did have to be a little creative due to a measuring mishap) and worked it out to my satisfaction. They warned me there would be A LOT of glass to the the necessary removal of old windows...and there was....still is. The whole crew did a tremendous job! I would gladly call them for future jobs and refer my friends to them.

Contractor arrived on job site within scheduled time frame, Job was completed very quickly, well within quoted schedule. Contractor employees were very professional and efficient in all operations. At completion of job, the area was throughly cleaned of waste and trash. Employees were very courterous. I would definitely use this company for any future jobs.

In the end we were very happy with the final product. We purchased a fiberglass entry door and a steel security door. The price was competitive with 4 other estimates and overall the company was much more responsive and professional that others that gave us estimates. We had a couple of frustrating incidents with the company. When we placed the order for both doors we were told that they would arrive in 4 to 6 weeks. We waited over 6 weeks and no one contacted us. When I called them the woman on the phone was apologetic and said that only one of our doors had been ordered. We had to wait an additional 2 weeks for the second door and I am not sure if anyone would have taken the initiative to contact us first. The second incident was when the door was scheduled to be installed the carpenter who arrived seemed shocked at the size and state of the doorway and said there was no way the door we ordered would fit. I was very frustrated because I specifically discussed the doorway issues at the time of the estimate and we were told there would be no problem with the installation. After leaving and discussing the issue with someone else on the phone, the carpenter said he could make it work, but would have to reschedule. The next installation attempt was scheduled two days later, the carpenter was fully prepared and the rest of the installation went smoothly. In the end we got when we hoped for, but I felt better communication were have prevented a lot of frustration and lost time.

The windows look great. They offered a warranty as well. It's hard to tell how well windows hold up after only a couple of years but so far so good.

We're very pleased with every aspect of Windows of America's services, and happy with the door.

Matt came to my home and provided a quote for the work (Vinylmax Easton vinyl sliders and Hi Pointe sliding patio door). There was some confusion on whether I needed a permit for this work in Arvada, but they did eventually agree to obtain it and include in my quote. There was also a math error on the quote of a couple hundred dollars that was discovered when I was paying my down payment - so they were essentially equal to my next lowest bid. The installers (Brent and crew) were quick and efficient in getting the work done, which took about 4-5 hours. The wrong door hardware was sent to the job site, and they came back about 5-6 weeks later to reinstall the hardware with the correct finish. The replacement hardware appeared to be used and scratched, so they came back a few weeks later and installed a new door handle. In the end, Windows of America followed up on my concerns and the job and windows were satisfactory. The windows make a big difference in reducing street noise and drafts in my house. One word of caution though about the Hi Pointe sliding patio door the sell. This is definitely not a door you want to install at a location where you will need to often use the key. The design of the door frame makes it very difficult to operate the key from outside due to the tight space against the frame and the effort needed to turn the lock. I asked the installer (Mark) about it and he said it was just the way the door was designed and recommended taking my patio door key off my key ring before using. That seems inconvenient and I'm glad that I likely won't often need to use the key. However, I probably would have considered other doors if I knew about the design problem in advance.

We can not say enough good things about this company. Use them. One of the best contractor experiences we have ever had. The bid was lower than others we got, and since there was brick work involved we wanted someone who had their own mason, which they had. The entire process from bidding to completion of work was on time, with great communication by the company. The final work was exactly what we wanted, which was amazing considering they had to find additional brick to match our 60 year old home, all the work looks like it was original to the house. Most importantly was the way the company fixed what could have been a major problem. During construction one of our return vents into the heating system was exposed to the outside. One of the brick cutters was unaware of this, and while cutting bricks massive clouds of brick dust were sent into our vent, into the house, and dust covered everything on all three floors in just a few minutes before everyone realized what had occurred. It was so bad we had to immediately evacuate our 4 month old baby out of the house for 3 hours while the dust settled. As soon as we called Clyde to let him know what occurred his first statement was " What do I need to do to make this better." Something I haven't heard from a service provider in years. Within a few hours a three lady cleaning crew attached the house, and in three hours had all the dust cleaned and gone. One of the ladies even cleaned some dirty dishes in the sink! Additionally, after the rest of the work was done Clyde sent a vacuum truck to clean out all the ducts in the house. I have never seen a company so thoroughly take care of an error in my entire life. We would use them again for anything window or door related. And to top it off the new door has been fantastic with the recent spat of sub zero weather we have had!

They were excellent! The price was lower than any of the major window companies. They used Gel Wind windows and doors. They did an excellent job! I had to have Bill come back twice because I had a problem with one of the doors. He responded immediately, courteously, and successfully. I can't say enough about the job that they did. They gave me an excellent referral for door replacement.

It?s like a sunroom. They had to put special glass in one of the windows as it was close to the sliding glass door. The glass was a kind of glass that didn?t shatter. They charged $700 for the whole thing. They were big windows; 4 feet high and 6 feet wide. The price was right and they gave the warranty for it. They have their office which is out of state but they have two instate offices. They make their windows especially for Colorado. The windows were double paned windows but they were virgin clad. The doors were the same metal structure. The price was the best. Quality wise it was virgin vinyl. They were nice energy efficiency windows. It looks good. The only problem I had with them was that my son somehow knocked the door off its rollers that goes underside of the door. He somehow divided it away from the roller so he couldn?t shut it easily. He could open it. It took me a call to the boss instead of calling the guy who serviced it. It took them less than a week to come out instead of a day or two. It happened at a time when they didn?t have enough staff. When they said they would come they came.

Salesman Matthew Rhodes came to the house on relatively short notice and sold us the windows. The company has done other work in the neighborhood and the quotation was half as much as another company we called. The job was done 3 weeks later, but the top lock on the patio door didn't work properly and the obscure glass was installed as a piece of clear glass. We immediately contacted the office, and were told the repairs and installation would be done quickly. A month later, the office said they'd seen the replacement glass. And after looking through the storeroom, found the piece of glass. Guess if we hadn't called, it would still be sitting in their storeroom. The patio door lock has been repaired, but the framing around this replacement glass isn't well done.

Salesman was friendly and very professional. I though the prices were good and they do offer lower prices for small windows which other vendors don't always do. He helped me decide which window configurations to choose and quoted a price, explained warranties, etc. Workmen showed up pretty much on time. All were very friendly and courteous. They worked fast and did quality work with attention to not causing damage. Everything was cleaned well after job completed and I am very satisfied with the quality of the windows and the installation. The one complaint is that if you need windows quickly, they may not be the ones to choose as they have a lead time of 3 to 5 weeks. The salesman said if I signed the contract right away, they could give me an earlier date for installation -- a bit of pressure. After signing it turned out that it was 3 days earlier, which is not that much on a 4-week time frame anyway. However despite this minor issue, I am satisfied with the price and the workmanship and would definitely use them again.
