Showed up and did a thorough inspection. Very nice gentleman...Told me the report would be emailed to me in 4 days. That was 2 1/2 weeks ago. I have called or emailed twice, and always told I would have my report today or tomorrow or next Monday. The good news is he did not require payment up front. I will be meeting with a different appraiser later this week.

I should have known when Fred S. mentioned late - appraiser did not provide the appraisal when he agreed to - more than two days late, which caused the seller to pull-out and damaged the buyer - figure there will be a lawsuit over this, so would NOT recommend, and the appraiser never gave one reason why just obstinate and disregarding the pleas from everyone in the transaction to turn in the appraisal - completely unprofessional and unreliable - DO NOT HIRE!

The appraisal was very carefully completed but late in arriving.

Nice appraiser. Only thing is the appraisal was done a week and a half ago and still do not have the appraisal in hand. Told me he would have it the next day (Friday) if not then by Monday. Called him a week later and he said he send it the next day. Will have to call again since I have not seen it yet. Addendum: After receiving the appraisal (18 pages), I can see why it might have taken longer than a couple of days. Very pleased with the results.
