My Remote Repair

We made an appointment so I could watch what he was doing.

After the service my computer still has the same problems. I am not satisfied and I would like a refund.

I provided my credit card number and a proposed date of service. He contacted me, we set up a date and time for contact. He contacted me at the agreed upon time and date. He walked me through the process of turning control of my computer over to him. He cleared out the most bothersome bugs that infested my computer (90%). After his work we worked through what he had done. My internet experience is greatly improved. I will use him again if a problem arises.

I had purchased a big deal for the service, and it seemed okay. I didn't talk much to him. It wasn't great service, it wasn't terrible.

The technician was polite, punctual, and patient. He worked with much attention to detail and had much patience even when the problem seemed to take longer than he or I expected. This was a most effective and rewarding experience. I would contact him again should I have a problem.

He directed me to the appropriate people for a refund.

He called and set up service immediately since I requested Emergency Service. He returned the call immediately explained what was required. Took over my system for approximately an hour and a half. System ran better, no viruses were found, and He even gave valuable recommendations for the future.

He basically he did what he said he would do. As I recall, and I apologize that I don't remember exactly, he remotely connected to the desktop and executed a basic software application that cleans up (removes cookies, spyware, etc.) your harddrive.Not sure what I was expecting, but I guess we got what we paid for. It was on my wife's desktop which was performing a little buggy and she was satisfied afterward. Should the provider like to add comments here or reach out to me and remind me of doing more, I'm open to that. (I don't recall the cost. It seems like it was ~ $50. Also, the date entered is not very accurate because I forgot that too. I'm providing this review much after the fact.)

The provider did what he was suppose to do my PC runs good.

Was an easy transaction over the phone. It took about 45 minutes

We were not able to use this deal. He did everything he could and got back to us fast but wasn't able to fix the problem. We actually had to go through the manufacture of the computer to get it fixed. It wasn't his fault he couldn't assist us. I really like them. We've used him before and will again still.

He did an excellent job and was extremely patient with me regarding my issues of my wireless connection having some connectivity issues due to walls blocking the signal. I would definitely recommend him to anyone.

It worked well until I got new viruses from downloads. How do I avoid this problem without avoiding downloads entirely?

He was very professional and Gary explained that there was nothing he himself could do and to request a refund by Angie's List since he cannot get to the source to fix it. He advised I take it to someone to have the hard-drive itself taken out and looked at.

They did it but I am still having problems with it. In fact, I was going to go online again and see if I could find someone that could really fix it. I kept having issues with pop-ups. I wanted to go to a certain website and it would not allow me to go to that website. It would not allow me to go to a few websites and that was the problem and he cleared some of that up. Sometimes it will work and sometimes it would not work. He spent one night troubleshooting and he said he had to do some research and he called me back the next day and he worked on it again for about an hour and the next day, he called me back in the morning and he worked for another 45 minutes to an hour on it. There was no additional cost. The price was good.

We spent a lot of time on the phone but he was not able to fix the problem. He was accomodating though.

We never got back with them after the initial consult. They are good, we were satisfied with the initial contact.

It went well. We had to coordinate schedules since he’s on different time zone. He was very nice. The issue was solved.

My computer got locked up and he got it unlocked. He didn’t really solve the problem. Wouldn’t use him again.
