Description of Work: I paid for this service and they never provided it. They went out of business and I never got a refund. I also called Angie's list and told them what happened thinking they would refund my money but they did absolutely nothing. So I also give Angie's list an F!

 + -1 moreMy call was returned promptly. A time was set to work on the problems the following day. He called at the agreed time .I gave him remote control of my computer. After a quick thorough check he was able to reassure me that mth machine was not infested by bots. He then fixed the other problems that had been a worry. Two days later he called back to make sure it all worked. I will call MY Remote Repair the next time help is needed. Through it all, he was polite professional and kind. Other's I called to ask about the problems had been brusque, andvery corporate. One told me to get a local who could uninstall everything, clean the machine, and reinstall everything, a very expensive process.
Description of Work: The gentleman returned my call the same day. We set a time for him to recontact me the following day for him to check my machine. He make the return call as agreed. On checking the computer remotely, he reported that my machine was not compromised. Then he made some minor modifications [the computer is 10 years old] that cleared up some minor problems. The whole took about 30 minutes.

Description of Work: On Saturday, Feb 25, I surveyed the computer services on Angie's List. Of the two remote repair services, I selected My Remote Repair because of the high ranking and low cost.. After clicking on the coupon and entering my personal information, I was asked to print out my receipt. Within a half hour Garry Robinson called to set up my computer repair session. In a few minutes he was cleaning unnecessary programs and damaging material from my hard drive and unnecessary data and obsolete files from my hard drive. All I needed to do was turn over the controls to him and sit back and watch. He called twice to have me reboot the computer since he had to shut down to eliminate old files and deleted programs.. He did not have access to my login ID. He spent in excess of two hours ridding all programs and add-ons from down loads. THE $49. was well worth the quality service. His work increased the speed and function of my computer. Garry was profession and efficient, and he was able to complete all that he said he would do and complete it. I have full confidence in recommending My Remote Repair.

Description of Work: Computer was sized up -turns out it was a bad virus. Gary spent many hours and much patience in resolving the problem.

It took some time because of the nature of my problem,but Garry stayed with it and resolved everything beyond my expectations. My computer is running better than new. I would definitely call him again and will recommend him to others. Garry gets an A+

 + -1 moreThe most recent time I used Garry was yesterday when, for some reason, I couldn't get Microsoft Office Word to open to a blank page so I could write someone a reference letter. Within 5 minutes he had created a icon so it will be a 'one click' affair next time I need it. Love him - He is such a good communicator and very helpful! And the best part...he didn't charge me anything!!! He is very inexpensive for the of services he provides.
Description of Work: Garry Robinson is able to help you remotely with any of your computer needs without ever stepping foot in your home. He helped me install a printer, fix viruses, and teach me things I wasn't able to figure out on my own. I love how he has always been able to help me! NOTE: He can be found under MyRemoteRepair.com
