The computer response time after the repair is very good.

Gary fixed all of my computer problems and answered my computer related questions...he's a nice gut to boot. I have him book marked for the next time I need him.

Craig was wonderful and helped make my mom's cheap Walmart laptop run like new!

I called this afternoon because I was having issues with pop-ups and my browser. We set an appointment for this evening, Gary called me on schedule and with in 30 minutes my computer was running fine again. I will be calling again real soon to get our other lap top back to tip top shape. Keep in mind Gary did this from CO and I am in AZ.

Very tolerant of my old system, useful advice for what to expect of system capability for streaming Netflix, and helped me determine current speed of internet service plan.

He spent well over an hour cleaning things up. Got rid of the "Health Boost" pop-up and definitely speeded up the PC's response time. Very pleasant and polite to deal with. Would dejifntiely recommend him.

They were very professional. He was courteous; he called when he said he would. He spent a long time working on the computer. Unfortunately, the end result was that there wasn’t much that he could do. I felt he was informative and a pleasure to talk to, but the service didn’t help me.

Garry was not familiar with this particular error message, but he worked with me and we eventually learned what was involved and what to do about it. He also helped me with a couple other minor issues I had been running into. We two spent some time pursuing this problem over a period of a few days, in and out of things, and his charges continue to be nominal compared to other computer repair sources. I have found Garry to be available when needed, both during the week and on weekends, and he has never charged me more on weekends. And, most importantly, he has always done a very good job for me.

I never bothered to download an antivirus for my computer so it was bound to get infected with some type of malicious malware. The repairman accessed my computer and took care of all of my problems. My computer runs smoother and is a lot faster than used to be. If I have any other problems in the future I will be sure to use this company again.

Very well. Promptly answered my call and set up an appointment and called me promptly at the agreed on time. Work was completed in approximately 45 mins, which seemed entirely appropriate and satisfactory!

I called Remote Repair after purchasing the $49.00 repair service. My issues were with Itunes on my computer - I had downloaded the new Itunes as I normally did when it appeared. What a mistake. I couldn't believe what a mess everything suddenly was - I couldn't find anything much less download any CDs into areas I wanted. Tried to fix it myself by going to Old Apps and downloading older version of Itunes, only to find that it "couldn't be read" by the new version of Itunes (you can never go home again). Well. Never say never. Gary happened to be there when I called to set up an apt. with him, and soon he was busy trying to fix the problem. When we thought we were finished, the same nasty little box appeared saying it couldn't be read, etc. etc. Gary said he'd research it and we were going to work on it tomorrow. He called back shortly to tell me he could do it now, and that it wouldn't take long. He did and it didn't. My Itunes are restored to their wonderful old version and I'm thrilled with the service I received and what a nice guy he was to someone who is the opposite of tech savvy. He never made me feel like an idiot, which I appreciated greatly, and also made some suggestions about buying more memory for my computer to help speed it up and when I asked, suggested a different internet protection than the one I have. I will be calling him again and definitely recommend his service most highly.

see above. He called me and we set up a time for the remote computer repair. He actually called me back twice. At the initial call he attempted to repair my problem and I think he knew that the repair did not work because he told me when he was done that he did not think he had solved the problem. Sure enough, the next day the same problem came up again. I sent him several e-mails including as many details and messages that I could get and then he attempted a second repair that did not work either. I appreciated his honesty but unfortunately I still have to find someone else to assist me at this time to find out why the startup cannot be repaired. If you need your computer swept for virus or malware I am sure he is a very competent repairman.

Gary fixed my last apparent computer virus problem about 2 years ago and today helped me with my new virus problem that was causing my PC to freeze up. I called him and had my PC running again the same evening.

I purchased the coupon and then called the number to set up a time. He was available so he connected to my computer right away. We worked together for an hour to an hour and half and he exhausted all things he could think that it would be. In the end, he stated that he wouldn't be able to fix the issue and that I should get a refund. I really appreciate his hard work.

We felt the $49 was well spent, because it gave us the peace of mind to lay the Dell to rest and purchase a new computer. We wouldn't hesitate to use Garry again if we ever encounter a problem with the new unit.

Although we were delayed in connecting initialy - Garry was helpful, knowledgeable, personable and resolved our computer issue - it was up and running again! I would recommend him to other A-list members and would definitely use My Remote Repair again if the need arises.

Excellent service and results

I purchased the Angie's list deal of $49.95 which listed virus removal. He returned my call promptly and I told him the problems I was having, and he determined that he'd have to restore the computer back to factory settings. My back up drive had quit working, so I needed to get a new one to back up my info, which I worked on the next day before he called. I was only able to back up my pictures and didn't have time to do the rest before he called. At some point, he informed me that the work would require the next step up in services which would be an additional $49.95. He did wipe the computer clean, replaced my Word with Kingsoft (since I no longer had the disk for Word), and added back Malwarebytes. The reason I graded a C was because he did not inform me the next step up in services included backing up my info. I ended up losing a lot of stuff because I was in a hurry to do it myself and didn't know that I could have asked him to do the rest that I missed. Also, the $49.95 said virus removal, which was what I needed, but he said I needed the $100 package. It seemed a little steep considering I could have paid a local guy who would have backed up everything for me and reinstall it if he had to wipe it clean. However, he did the job and my computer hasn't been giving me the same problems.

I've used Garry's services for ears now and I've always been pleased with the results. He was there for six years ago when my husband and I set up home offices and realized how little we knew about computer technology. Garry is now "part of our family" in that he works on my mother's computer in Alpine, California, and my brother's computer in San Diego. My Remote Repair is one of the best companies I have found through Angie's List.

Called to fix connectivity problems. Looked at multiple fixes, determining that problem couldn't be addressed. He was right, absolutely right. Ad he didn't charge anything because he couldn't fix the problem (nobody could).
